  • Laser hair removal is a cosmetic procedure that employs highly concentrated laser light to target and destroy hair follicles, reducing unwanted hair on the body. Suitable for various body parts including the face, underarms, forearms, legs, and bikini line, this method offers a solution for hair reduction, albeit not suitable for the area around the eyes. The process involves trimming the targeted hair, sterilizing the skin, and possibly applying a numbing gel. Treatment duration varies depending on the area's size, typically ranging from a few minutes to an hour. Post-treatment, patients might experience temporary redness or irritation, and the use of sunscreen is recommended to protect the skin. While effective for individuals with dark hair and light skin, technological advancements have broadened its applicability. Multiple sessions are often necessary due to the hair growth cycle, with an average of 6 to 8 treatments recommended for optimal results. Although it significantly reduces hair growth, it may not completely halt hair production.
