The ending of this video (along with the rest of it) sent so many emotions flowing everywhere and I want to write a heartfelt comment about Elle's growth through her years on UA-cam but honestly nothing I can say now would ever do this video justice. It was the most perfect imperfect thing I've ever seen and I cried.

If it’s any consolation, your content is such a breath of fresh air on this over-saturated platform and has a genuine and unique quality that a lot of other channels lack. But that kind of quality can take a lot of time and effort. So if you gotta take 3 months to produce something you consider worthwhile then take that three months. Elle, even the fact that you think you’ve been distant is a non-issue. Maybe some people have been badgering you for uploads and you feel the need to constantly be putting out videos and one-upping yourself. Maybe you feel like because you recently spiked in popularity so much, you now have to feed the UA-cam gods that nice fresh content at a consistent rate lest they become angry.
But Elle. Don’t forget that you’re still a kid. You deserve to have a life. You deserve to do whatever you want to do. UA-cam is not the beginning and end of the world. Or even of YOUR world. You’re so much more than that.
I think traveling is an excellent way to get back in touch with yourself. I see it less as “escaping problems” and more as “understanding that your problems don’t really matter in the grand scope of the universe.”
So next time you’re stressed and you’re editing at 4am, not wanting to let anyone down - remember this: there are many people who are going to watch your stuff regardless of how frequently you post. Don’t listen to the tweets begging for content.
And even if you post a video that’s below your audience’s (or even your) expectations, remember that you have IRL people who love you and care for you. Who have done that before you were “UA-cam famous” and who will continue to do so for the rest of your life.
