Have a Blessed Day
Great idea to fold up the roost to make it easy to clean the floor. I have learned so many unique tricks and hints to make things easier!
You think of everything Hollis.
Bravo, beautiful work!!
I am always impressed with your attention to your workmanship. You don't seem to do anything to just 'get by', you are building with pride! Inspiring!!
Sweet setup! My favorite part is the ability to raise the roost! Very smart!
Everything you do is well thought out and made to last. God blesses me when I watch you and Nancy. Blessings sent your way.
I love the shirt. One of the things I appreciate about your channel is the fact you share the hope that is within you.
Looks good
You really do AWESOME work! Love all Hollis and Nancy Homestead videos. Looking forward to some of Nancy's canning and cooking videos as well! May Our GOD continue to bless everything you do. Looking forward to the next video.
Just love seeing the progress on your home, thanks for taking us along. May God continue to bless all that you both do.
Hollis, wonderfull jub again. When you do something you sure do it right, and you bring the good Lord along. Thanks for your knowledge&wisdom.God bless you and Nancy and bing bing.
The converted stall looks great. And the fold-up roost-genius!!
Dear Hollis and Nancy I will be like that you gave us a tour of your new home!
I hope you will consider some type of "escape mechanism" for that gate latch. Once you are inside the stall and close the door, it does not appear to have a way to unlock the door from the inside. I hope you get some chickens soon, so we can see more of Nancy tending to her flock.
Lol good save on the "shortness" Bless you both.
Good ideas there. You did a great job. Thanks for sharing. God Bless Hollis and Nancy and Bing Bing too.
You never cease to amaze me Hollis. You are so talented, organized and everything thought through. You’re chicks are going to love their home ! Wonderful work! 👍🏻🐣🐥🐔😊
Thank you.
Welcome!
I am so amazed with all of the builds that you do! The chickens and turkeys will be the best fed and pampered fowl ever! Excellent video 😊
Bring on the chicks!
My compliments to you Hollis. You are surely good at figuring out what it takes to keep the chickens safe! I still see my horses standing in the "other" stalls! A girl can dream...can't she?
Hollis, you have two of the cutest 'sugars' in town, Nancy and Bing-Bing. I hope little Bing-Bing gets along with your birds. Thanks for the tour. You are an amazing designer.
I always enjoy your insightful ingenuity! :)
Y'all just showed me something about watering, feeding that's so cool
Thank you
Looks great 👍🏽! You’re so creative and gifted. Also good recovery on the “short” comment. Enjoyed watching y’all. ❤️😷🦋🌻🌵
You all are great, it looks great, BLESS you, KEEP up the good works
God bless you two and Bing Bing!! 💞💞💞
Looks great brother. Great job. I love how you covered yourself when you said "shortness is sweet". Mr hollis may be sleeping on the couch for awhile 😂😂👍jk
Also, it is a good idea to have the feeder & water containers up off the floor about up to the chicken breast or neck...that keeps their feet out of the feed & water to keep it clean! I don't know why (probably to scratch), but they need to have their feet in everything!!!!! Just something for you to think about. The shavings will keep the chicken odor down, keep the poo from getting all over your shoes/boots & easier to clean up! What a great setup you have! Everyone's dream!!!!!
The black paint looks really sharp. Nice job.
Hello and thanks for the tour of your homestead it is going along very nicely, those will be some pampered lil' chickadees. Sad part is all this infrastructure and no chicks yet.
lots of planning. lots of work. Blessings
Hollis...you are such a thinking man. You amaze me with your talent. BTW We harvested our Yukon Gold potatoes several days ago. I planted them exactly as you showed me, and we got nine pounds of beautiful potatoes . Thank you.
That is a fabulous barn. You are a busy man Hollis :) You do some Amazing work!!!!!! You think of everything!!!
Love Ms Nancy's smile. Really great job done on this pullet pen. Very creative
Another nice job.
You might want to consider putting some catch bins with 1 inch wire on top under the roosts so you can catch the manure and clean less frequently
My daughter has chickens. When they were young she placed marbles in the water dish. This prevents them from accidently drowning. Can't wait to see the chicks!!
My 5 gallon bucket tater plants are kicking arse!
Thnx!
Chickee birds are next.
😎😎😎😎😎😎
You are a genius!!
Very smart hanging that heat lamp by chain Hollis. I see to many people hanging them by the cord. Nancy is just vertically challenged. When you challenge people you make stronger people. That's why God gives us so many challenges in our lives. God bless
Wow, now that is a great grow out system!
Job well done sir , I wish I have your skills.
Hollis the foldup roost is a great idea
You are a Craftsman. Your work is always so precise and pleasing to the eyes. A nice enjoyable video. Thank you. Art in Calif
Thank you Art👍
Oh, Nancy, please capture some video of Hollis talkin' sweet to the pullets!!! 🙂 I realize there's a practical homestead application to having chickens and turkeys, but it is nice that you'll be providing them a good life before they become dinner.
YOU CLEVER, CLEVER MAN!!! Making the roost able to fold up out of the way to clean the floor! You just keep amazing me with your well-planned designs! Nothing like an obstacle-free floor to get thorough cleaning done! I'll bet there are viewers out there right now trying how to figure out how to hinge their kitchen tables, desks, sofas, and beds! Since the first video of yours that I viewed, I've wanted to copy what you've done. If I had a large property, I'd follow your lead step-by-step, and I'd post little signs around my place giving you credit (because it's due) and promoting your channel. You are teaching people not only how to do what you've done, but also teaching techniques that people can apply differently elsewhere. You are simply awesome. Blessings on you, Nancy, Bing Bing, and everyone you love!
Have a blessed day to you two, too. GOD bless
That fold up chicken roost is a great idea! Anything to make clean up easier. Nicely done. :)
WOW!! I am simply out off words! AMAZING!!!
It turned out amazing!!! 😀
Love the new pullet room! Y'all are really moving right along on the homestead. Can't wait to see the chicks and the fun yall will have with them. I just raised 21 that are now laying an abundance of fresh eggs. Love y'all!
In the process of building my own pullet pen. Got some great ideas from you all. Thanks.
WOW!
Looks great but flat perches are not good for chickens, put some of those branches you have around the compound to use!
That's some fine music you've got going
Great job Hollis and Nancy, you do such a great job with all your projects. I know you both enjoy doing things the best way you can and always think of the animals and food you are going to raise and you both have so much fun while you’re so busy. Thanks for sharing with us and sharing how and why you enjoy your time on earth. Fred.
Am I the only one in here that thought they would never string these 5 words into a sentence?
"A Fold Up Chicken Roost" You never cease to Amaze Hollis

In Florida you’ll only close those windows during a hurricane
I love the black it is looking SHARP!
Looks Great. Nice Shirt Hollis, God Bless you all.
Thank you
That has to be the biggest brooder on the internet 😂 Looks like it would be a great coop also. Install a run door to the outside and call it a day 👍
Great job!!! I am so impressed with these ideas.
wow love what you came up with :) lucky little birds!
Wow beautiful! I want a chicken coop in the feature
just curious--do you see any snakes around there I know a couple of channels have been having trouble with snakes eating the babies and also eggs?--God bless.
Smart designs!
Beautiful build, as always! Did you put a pull cord on your door latch to open it from the inside? You sure don't want to get trapped in there.
Amazing!
Very nice work again 👍👍
Beautiful Job!
Looks fantastic!
Have enjoyed watching all your videos
Glad you like them!
Nice...I luv y'all videos ❤️😍🥰
Hollis, I have that same water container but ruined it by adding Apple Cider Vinegar to their water as it is so good for their gut. So if you ever need to give them a week of Apple Cider Vinegar treatment, be sure to have a large plastic water container. Remember my friend: We CAN learn life lessons by OBEDIENCE, we MAY learn life lessons through EXPERIENCE, but we surely WILL learn life lessons through SUFFERING. I am learning in South Louisiana.
Great job, my question is how many chickens do you need to get alot of eggs and do they multiply quickly?
This project is coming along nicely; however I wonder if hawks can peck through the mesh?
I’m impressed with all that you do, but with every new project you are creating more work , how are you gonna be able to maintain all the gardens with all the weeding that will need to be done?, I can’t wait until these videos start catching up to real-time
I have been wondering for awhile now. In the opening credits Nancy is holding something that looks like purple berries. What is it?
Also my grandkids are always saying HI BING BING every time I watch your videos
I enjoy your journey but I'm confused that you talk of a winter , in Florida ??
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Looks great! I want to be your neighbor
That waterer looks like mine and I don’t think it will hold up to being hung from the handle. The handle is not attached all that strongly and the top of the waterer is only connected to the bottom with a small tab of metal that passes under a pin. If it’s a different kind then I am all wet :)
HNN - Great video guys!
