I wonder how awkward it is for Dess and Asriel not being able to see this epic cutscene. Imagine Archer being like “and a prophet of light, BOOM, BOOM! WOOO SPARKLY THINGS!”
Man it sucks that Kris and the others failed, makes me wonder more about HOW they failed or what happened to cause their demise. It's very interesting how this isn't a simple swap, but is built off of a destroyed timeline.
I think its like what whould have happend during snowgrave like your friends all fight in a final attack but because you killed some of them its not enough otr maybe its what happens if tou die then click no when gaster asks you if you aanna come back

This video knows its audience. Whoever wrote this lore was smart to recognize that they could pull in Homestick mechanics because at least 50% of Undertale/Deltarune fans started with Homestuck. Myself included.

Okay wow I love this idea for an AU backstory. I always dig when people put Homestuck-related things into UTDR AUs ( like that one Storyshift Chara theme, BLACK ) and this is a pretty genius way of incorporating the idea of a "post-Scratch" world into the Deltarune story ngl

(also i was very mildly disappointed in this track that there wasn't a subtle cascade motif in the bit with gaster's theme)

This is technically a gameplay video, since I programmed it and then recorded it...
