They are not doing their job because they don’t like to admit they were wrong. They accused the family, so testing the dna would mean they would be proved wrong.
They accused the family because all evidence points to her brother killing her and the parents covering it up. A lot of money was involved, and unfortunately, not enough evidence to prosecute the brother. Not sure if he's entirely to blame, though. From what I can tell, there was some very bad parenting in this house.
He absolutely did. There's a lot of evidence available even to the public that can back this up. The parents knew about it, and they covered it up by writing a ransom note. Their stories changed a few times during the case, and their account of what happened never really made sense. On the contrary, it went against all logic. They spent nearly their entire fortune on lawyers to keep their son out of jail. Allegedly, both children were spoiled rotten, and the brother woke up that night to find his sister eating his pre-made midnight snack (a fruit bowl or something his parents made him earlier) that he killed her with a hammer.
The son clearly didn’t do it because they already did DNA tests and it does not match anyone in the family. These idiots on this thread don’t know the facts.

Exactly. Get justice for their family already. if they hadn’t done their jobs correctly, the case would’ve been solved already.
First time I’ve heard that poor kid was sexually assaulted.. So sad, rest in peace..
That interview gave off some major red flags, something didn’t feel right there.
I think the son did it 🤷🏽♀️

I think was the son , that's it . Leave it she can't rest in peace because of this jerks.
He want them to prove he did it cuz he responsible in my opinion
That makes no sense. You people are stupid and insane.
Ask your son buddy

So If the son did it, at the age of 9 he can write that ransom note

His son’s interview was so weird and telling sorry but he looked like he murdered his sister
You can find golden state killer but you can't find this little girls killer.
Shame on you Boulder police 😡
Give them the DNA 🧬
The house was locked and she died inside the house so one of them did it
There was a broken window and if he did it why would still try and keep in the news. There was a predator in that house and it was not the parents.
It was an intruder .
28 years and he still denies culpability and still blames the Boulder police.
My theory is that it was the mother but idk
