Hofner V62 Mersey bass for jazz

I find I prefer a short scale w/ flats when I choose an electric fretted bass for jazz-blues-early rock-latin-folk, much more upright in tone. With the Hofner live indoors I prefer the sound w/ both pickups and solo switch off, it has more clarity and less boom, which is often an issue w/ any bass indoors. I also like to use my JMJ mustang bass. + they are so easy to cart around.
