Hey everyone! I recently went on a trip to Sikkim with my friend Shumnima (who is from Sikkim). In this video, we go on a road trip from Gangtok to Pelling and explore West Sikkim. Although I’ve been to Sikkim before, this trip was such a different experience, especially since I stayed and explored with a local.
This is the second video in my four part series of Sikkim. In this video, we got to Pelling, did a bit of sightseeing there, explored Sky Walk Pelling, Rabdentse Ruins and Pemayengtse Monastery. Also, as usual, tried some delicious local cuisine!

Actually the first one is not Buddha. Budhha has only two arms but this one has four. Its called Chenregzik in tibetan... The god of kindness/compassion... I think its called as avalokiteshwora in sanskrit

Wow Kritika! When I saw u put up the first sikkim vlog i was super excited. I have been to sikkim like 3 times now and it had become a fav travel destination for me and my mom. The first thing that we had felt over there was that it is a super safe place for even single women travellers and the locals over there are so friendly and welcoming. This year also I had plan to go there but unfortunately it didn't work out. Now u r taking me down the memory lane with this series. If I'm not wrong that's the sikkimimese spinach subzi u were having. I almost felt the taste, and remembered while I visited sikkim i used to really look forward to this particular preparation. I only could cover a few places in sikkim and had missed out on the rabdentse ruins. It was great to see it through your eyes. Now I'm repenting why I didn't go for more long walks like you did. Don't know whether you have covered Ravangla as part of ur trip or not. But if u didn't then do check out that place, the buddha park over there is amazing. We had been there during December and we could see clouds cascading like a huge waterfall along the super green mountains as the evening came down. Looking forward to the rest of the videos.
