What impresses me most about this video .......... Seeing the effort you are willing to do preparing for a photo shoot ! Also all these photos was worth a video i believe !
Great stuff, it's amazing how hard we can be on ourselves, even when the image comes out good, we say to ourselves it's not quite what I was aiming for and you want to chunk it. I loved all of the images in this series
Whenever I watch your videos about trial and error, new projects and growth I always feel better about my own process. Thank you for always being such an inspiration! I always look forward to watching your videos🥰
Please continue to post videos. You do beautiful work! I am almost 1/2 a century "young" , & started my photography journey 2 years ago. You have inspired me to free my creativity & get outside my comfort zone. Love your photos!
Irene next time you have to inflate your pool you can do so with your hairdryer on its cool setting instead of using a foot pump. A pool that size inflates in no time. My daughter did a similar shoot for her A level photography but used the bath. The model’ s boyfriend was on hand out of frame pouring jugs of water into the bath to make ripples. She took some really successful ones with the model submerged and her eyes wide open. Her model had no experience - just a friend - but she did the job of a pro. Lots of patience. Your work is so inspiring. I particularly love your natural light photography. I think you are brave working the hours before sunset because you must be working against the clock but there is no doubt you get it right. Do you book your models far in advance or on the day when you see the weather conditions and lighting?
Happy New Year Irene as this was great as I always love how you come up with things to create the effects of your shoots like the cloud hat and painted glass. I think they all turned out nice. Though I agree the pool shoot would be better for the outside. :-) Be safe and thanks again for another cuts that didn't make it though I thought they turn out pretty good.
Love that you show this! Sometimes it can be so frustrating if a shoot doesn’t turn out to be like you would imagine it. About the photo with the cloud hat, I personally wouldn’t post it, to me it looks like it has been altered to much and I can see some “mistakes” or things that seem a little bit out of place right away. I think the idea is amazing and could be a good reshoot 😊
Sweetheart it is so beautiful how wonderful it is to see your creations there timeless and masterpieces. You go girl . We adore you and your work thank-you so much 💗.
Irene I fully agree on reshooting in the summer time for the pool shoot. A simple and easy way to make the water move is get a pond pump under $30 and will move the water around. A simple clear hose with a T valve will move water on both sides of the model. For added safety you can get a 5 gal bucket to place the pump in separate for the pool. I used one of these to make a well pump pour water into my pond in my yard years ago. I hope this is helpful.
I think it is our expectations that makes us not like our own work. We have a vision, if it is not meet we go hoo hum. But others may like and enjoy the photo, i think that is what we forget. The eye of the beholder. 😁
I wasn't sure about the one of you with the cloud on your head, but LOVED IT after you added the hair & doctored it up in PS, it was beautiful. I honestly liked most of them. the water in the living room wow your brave !!! your a true artist. that's why I love your videos.
The cloud hat photo is lovely, I think maybe some more height to the hat would give it more balance. Or perhaps made more in a hairstyle shape to give it that look you’re going for. The photoshopped in hair kills the photo for me, and I feel like it looks pasted in.
I love the water pics and your DIY pics too... Would love to see more of your self portraits to inspire some of us who are starting out in photography but don't have anyone
I really loved the idea for the cloud look. I wasnt crazy about the hair you added in id re do the shoot with your normal hair or a wig. The photoshop one looks wired...
Great supportive husband, I wish my wife does the same to me at my home studio 😂 nice couch btw. You're the master of props and decor creative photography
Irene the cloud photo is ace number 1 ,, n that one of i think its yr sister from 2016 with paint on glass gobo is very good ,, yr work always inspires me n yr videos make me happy ,, :)
7:17 I really like this image and the cloud hat but not the Photoshopped hair. You can also enhance the lighting on you to make yourself pop more (as the cloud draws too much attention right now). With those small changes, I think this photo will be perfect :)
You are such an inspiration! I love seeing your process. You even managed a mini diy tutorial. I got myself an RP for Christmas, but I'm a bit intimidated by it. Would you consider doing a tutorial on the Canon app? I plan to try some of these 😊
Cloud hat image is amazing, the only thing I would do is to soften cloud a little bit, too much contrast on it makes it look a little bit "glued" into the image 👍
Hi Irene. Great video. At 7:20 I really liked the concept of the photo however I would have gone about it a little different. I would've used a textured grey background and seperated it quite far from myself and added a little haze with a backlight and a 1.4 or 1.8 aperture to add depth in the image. I would've also used a white dress that resembled a dress from the late 1800s. I like the image without the added hair but if I wanted hair I would've just use my natural hair if I had long hair.
Girl I bought a pool to do that type of shoot but ended up using it for my grandson lol. The pandemic made me nervous about having people at the house. I may still try it but you are a trooper for doing that in the house. Girl how many damn trips to the sink did you have to make to empty that damn pool? The things we do for our art and one or three good captures. 🤦🏽♀️ btw the tree photo is also beautiful but I’m like you, if I don’t plan well the shoot very rarely goes great. And sometimes we can pick the wrong model for something you have planned well. I know you can’t do a video about that because it will put the model on blast but truthfully sometimes it’s not us. Not all models are meant for all themes 🤷🏽♀️. So don’t be too hard on yourself lol, luh u girl. Thanks for sharing
Lovely results, Irene! Even though it feels like they didn't move you like the shoots that go as planned. It happens to all creatives, no matter the genre or the medium. I also love those that you took on your Israel trip, that pink outfit looked so beautiful and dreamy in your shots. For the water & pool, you might look into some non-staining coloring for the water itself as that will show up even small amounts of movement in the water. I've also tried milk in water for a shoot and that turned out amazing, it is definitely easier outside and I am excited to see your shoot of that someday! I hope you're staying warm and happy, spring is coming! :D
Irene, even your “fails” are amazing!
Agree
I love that cloud hat photo 😍
What impresses me most about this video .......... Seeing the effort you are willing to do preparing for a photo shoot ! Also all these photos was worth a video i believe !
Irene, you're a creative genius. The cloud headpiece turned out so cool!
All of the photos are still beyond beautiful
the rainy cloud picture, IRENE, YOU'RE A GENIUS.
I like the cloud photo without the extra hair. Loved the portrait of your sister through painted glass.
That’s an amazing image. However I’m impressed by the commitment in making the hat.
LOVE the "woodland fairy" shot and the "head in the clouds" self portrait!
Mannn I got the clouds on my wall you got it on your head I knew you would be creative with it... Beautiful
Great stuff, it's amazing how hard we can be on ourselves, even when the image comes out good, we say to ourselves it's not quite what I was aiming for and you want to chunk it.
I loved all of the images in this series
Love the thought process and learning that you went through. I’m happy you posted so we can all see what goes wrong and learn from mistakes

I just love your honesty when things go well and when they don't. Great content. Thanks for sharing.
Pure gold, still loved the shoots and concepts but refreshing to see when you feel your vision hasn't been achieved
My favorites are the fairy on the tree and the portrait with the paint frame!

You gave me an idea for the indoor pool bit to make things easier for the model and save time for the photographer in pre-production.
Irene you are awesome!
The photos were beautiful.
Cloud hat image is amazing, the only thing I would do is to soften cloud a little bit, too much contrast on it makes it look a little bit "glued" into the image 👍
The image at 7.01 is my favorite. Making it a space alien queen would be awesome.
I Love When You Say : I See You In My Next Video, Byeeeee ...
I love you photos shots 👍

Love This!
I AM FROM ISRAEL!! love your works
Lovely results, Irene! Even though it feels like they didn't move you like the shoots that go as planned. It happens to all creatives, no matter the genre or the medium. I also love those that you took on your Israel trip, that pink outfit looked so beautiful and dreamy in your shots. I hope you're staying warm and happy, spring is coming! :D
Thank you for that tip! I’ll totally try to colour the water
@@IreneRudnyk you could try using bath bombs. I don’t know whether you have Lush where you are but you can get some fantastic affects with them.
i super loved
