@@mysteriousdoge1298 Have you even seen how he played in the finals of italian superlega? He literally saved perugia by making great substitutions. Yes, he was benched most of the season becouse of his injury, but the polish coach said that he just need a slight knee treatmest and will play in the 3rd week of vnl, i think its pretty obvious that he will make it to the olympics
@@Ada-vt3bi Have you seen how well his competition for his position played this season? Like Fornal, Śliwka, Semeniuk, Bednorz, Szalpuk or Kwolek (hopefully Grbić is gonna give him a chance). There's only 12 players in a team for the Olympics and how many receivers Grbić is gonna take? 4 probably. I still think he's gonna take Leon anyway but Im not sure he deserves it.

Poland is simply too strong. Canada did hang in there with the number one ranked team in the world and even took a set from Poland and the other sets were fairly even except for a couple of points here and there. The difference is Canada just could not stop Poland's vaunted attacks. Let's go Canada and good luck to both teams.
And most of those Polish players probably won't even go to the Olympics, mind you.
@@DotepenecPL Kochanowski & Semeniuk 100% are gonna go. I think Bołądź deserves it too cause he was waay better than Kaczmarek this season. Śliwka of course but he didn't play today.
@@mysteriousdoge1298 I don't think Grbić will pick Bołądź, he keeps on playing his guys. Most of those who played against Canada and USA won't go. Butryn, Poręba, Szymura, Komenda. Szalpuk, Hawryluk, Jakubiszak, Adamczyk from the first game. Bednorz is not going either I am afraid (Semeniuk, Fornal are definitely going if they keep up their play, Śliwka is too important, there is Leon as well).

I always wondered why Polish did not develop a more simple phonetic alphabet -/bouondz/ (soft z with the dot on the top).
I know the matches must be played but I think Poland 🇵🇱🔥 has no opponent. They are going to win both the VNL and Olympics. Wow, just wow 👏👏!

I love the moment when Grbić just wanted to go after this referee for his own FAULT! Also, that's the reason why Grbić is so amazing coach, he's hot-headed sure, he protects his own players, but is never happy when they win the match. Cause you need to aim higher and higher. Need pushing for more. Great atittude. Pushes polish team to being hard workers as well as going after gold medal with confidence!
Everytime i watch this kinda matches, i appreciate the Japan team for going toe to toe with this giants. All the team are so strong. I ❤ Poland aswell. Well done.

Kanada chylę czoła postawiła sie mocnemu rywalowi jakim jest Polska która radzi sobie w składzie każdym duża konkurencja na pozycjach,Bednorz Bołądź glowne armaty warto nie zapominać o Kochanie który pokazal nam moc na zagrywce od niego sie wszystko zaczęło po słabym 1 secie
26 and still counting 🔥☝☝☝. Solid match from both sides but still we are on top. Still wish Canadians further victories and maybe place in top 8. You have really good coach on your side so you don't have to worry. Keep working and maybe a little upset at the Olympics.
Poland is the number one ranked team for a reason. There's little weakness in their game. The Canadians have improved quite a bit since the last tournament and I'm very curious to see their progress in this VNL and in Paris.
Canada played with the first team and Poland played with B and C. We have 30 players and different players will play in each tournament

Canada has so many other quality players. Daenan Gymiah is back on courts, Vernon Evans is also probably the best outside for team Canada but they are no where to be seen!! Canada needs them to go up against top teams like Poland..

@@mrnowak2835 He may not even play at the olympics but if Grbić takes him he may play as a strong bench player that comes for a set or two. Cause of his weak season in Perugia where he was on the bench a lot and never played full games.

Is. The main squad of the Polish national team is not playing here. These matches are played by main and substitute players
I think what Poland lacks, which had been lacking for the longest time, is the skilled full Setter, like Micah, Gianneli, or Marouf (in his prime). If they have this kind of Setter, they'll be unstoppable.
we have Janusz though, i really don't understand why he's so underappreciated by the non-Polish volleyball fans... he's really precise and a great strategist. no team would come this far without a great setter and Janusz definetely is one. (i'm not a big fan of Łomacz though, i wish Firlej or Komenda was no. 2 in the NT.)

Also the other setters are not neccessarily better than Janusz. See 1st CL semi Zaksa vs. Perugia for an idea how imprecisely Giannelli can set on a bad day. Janusz has never had a single performance that bad.
Just because a setter is more offensive, plays from the 2nd ball more often, does not automatically make them better, duh.
It only makes them more noticable to a novice volleyball observer.
Setters job isn't to score points.
Their primary job is for their team to do so.
If a setter does that personally? Cool.
But they's not automagically a good setter, then.
Clearly not Lisinac's account, as he wouldn't be writting such nonsense.
You think Łomacz is our first setter? LOL He's probably 3rd at best after Janusz & Firlej. And Janusz is one of the best setters.
When you say lacking for the longest time... We have won lots of titles with our Fabian Drzyzga, now we have one of the best setters in the world in Janusz, I honestly don't know what your point is. You need to watch more international volleyball!
Also, I don't know where you have been last year, Poland team were pretty unstoppable, all that, with our fabulous setters 🤗

@@viribusunitis2124 oni biorą jakichś czeczenów czy inne mniejszości, przynajmniej jako mięso bojowe. Swoich wysyłają ostatnich, zwłaszcza tych z petersburga czy moskwy. Też sprowadzają z innych krajów żeby jak najmniej swoich "prawowitych" rosjan wyrzucić na pewną śmierć. Niestety :)
