Instead of making a new tutorial (which is good on it's own) just recently, they should have also overhauled all these old missions at the low levels and their rewards, so you would get the TNG officers and not the KU officers (since they dun drop anymore at low levels). That would help extremely to get Data, Troi, Riker, Geordi and Beverly to a good level early on. And of course, more shards for Chen!

14:00 Why wouldn't it be better to use Crusher as Captain? With full synergy you get +30% health. Isn't that better than what LaForge offers? Rev says health is king in PVE, so 30% health would seem to be better than 20% dmg reduction.
damage reduction comes off the top, before mitigation and then shield reduction are applied so you take less hull damage per hit. That usually will work out better. Bev also only adds to the Health of the Officer, which isnt a direct 1/1 ratio in terms of adding health to the ship.
the early levels there isnt much to do, and you can usually get everything completed within an hour. As you advance you gain access to more content, so depending on how much of that you want to engage in, you could spend several hours each day (3-5)

Just started the game through a points/ money back offer. How long should it reasonably take to reach level 21. How much time daily?
If you play 2-3 hours each day and complete all your daily tasks and events, you should be able to reach that goal in under 6 weeks.
