hi sir, my MRI said thinning of the central disc of the TFCC without focal defect, findings can be seen under ulnar abutment syndrome. My question is this an injury?
Ulnar varience occurs due to many reasons like ulnar postive variance occurs aftr some traumatic injury like fracture and aftr that bone heals in an improper position
Ulnar negative varience occurs due to conditions like avascular necrosis of scaphiod, scapholunate dissoscations, other reasons are not yet confirmed. This can hppen in reverse to ulnar negative varience can results in avascular necrosis too
Sir what is the role of TFCC in ulnar positive variance and ulnar negative variance . Pls give a little bit clarification about that......Is TFCC IS THINNER OR THICKER IN POSITIVE VARIANCE???
Joint thats not real, I mean there is no direct osteoligamentous chonnection between the bones forming functional joint. For eg scaoulothoracic joint, here there's no direct attachment between scapula and thorax
Thank You For Putting Your Heart And Soul Into Your Job. Your Passion Is Truly Inspiring. Really Enjoyed Your Session

Sir.plz explain -
(1)more about TFCC
& (2) How negative ulnar variance occurs ????
Ya will add in next video...TFCC
Ulnar varience occurs due to many reasons like ulnar postive variance occurs aftr some traumatic injury like fracture and aftr that bone heals in an improper position
Thank u so much sir 🙏
Ulnar negative varience occurs due to conditions like avascular necrosis of scaphiod, scapholunate dissoscations, other reasons are not yet confirmed. This can hppen in reverse to ulnar negative varience can results in avascular necrosis too
