I remember kicking back with a buddy and listening to "I'm Coming Out." We couldn't get past the drum intro without having to lift the needle up and listen to again. NEVER LET THEM SAY DISCO SUCKS. TONY THOMPSON RIP.
@MrFunkFu it's a disco festival at Wembley Arena in 2003 called "the best disco in town", there were too: tavares, alexander o neal, shalamar, rose royce, the real thing, kid creole & the coconuts....
They made sophisticated soul music unfortunately it started a trend in the hood everybody got caught up on labels. but I survived it and no peer pressure many years later. LOL
