@@TheGeeJ thanks! You know what, the strings are the original ones that came with the guitar, so I'm not positive what gauge they are. But they are heavy gauge for sure. The tone comes less from the strings than the amp I'm using (neuraldsp fortin nameless suite x) and the way I mix the bass with the guitar tracks. If you create dual bass mixes - one for low end (sub) and one for higher end bass mix - it gives the illusion that it is the guitar tone rather than both bass and guitar. Also stereo both guitar tracks, it just makes everything sound better. Best of luck!
