Spice is a truly horrible experience. I was spiked once by a guy who gave me half a joint for free and not knowing about spice I took it home with me to smoke in my old bong. Took one rip and immediately knew something was wrong and put it down. I couldn't sit up right after a short while, my ears were ringing, I was short in breath and could see colourful static. I laid back in my bed, heart pounding, worrying if I was gonna die for 3 and a half hours. I remember during those 3 hours it felt like the ceiling was moving up and down and an old phone was ringing in the next room. I eventually managed to get up and just barely walk to my brothers room to ask him about the ringing. He said he heard nothing and looked at me concerned and asked if I was alright. I just rushed back to my room and lay back down, not fully able to understand what he was saying as I left. The next day a friend asked me if I was okay. I explained what I experienced and he told me about spice. It's scary going through that without knowing what caused it. Not smoked since then.

I took one tiny hit of it many years ago. I did it just before starting a 20ish minute drive (as a passenger). That was the most terrifying 20 minutes of my life. I was certain that I would never get out of that car alive. Calling it synthetic Marijuana is a lie. They are not remotely similar.

This is the first and only video I've seen, of hundreds, that actually tells us what "spice" is, K2, synthetic marijuana. Thank you for providing a very good explanation and education on what drug transforms a normal person into an out-of-control monster!
In the comments sections of all the other videos, people would say "that's spice", or "that's acidd", or "that's not drugs, it's psychosis" and so on. But the behavior in all of those video mirrors perfectly the effects seen in this video.

If someone is flipping out from psychosis, anxiety or really any reason, a group of people trying to loudly get info across doesn’t help. Although the cop saying “no jail, hospital” was probably the most helpful, except drop anything that has “no” in front of it as they’re just more likely to hear “jail, hospital”. Calm things down as much as possible & just have one person talk to them as calmly & gently as possible. Don’t let them escalate the scene as it just becomes even more loud & confusing for them. And if they’re not comprehending, try single words or short phrases like “hospital” “help” “you’re ok” “you’re safe”. Even pull out your phone & get some calming music playing & dim the lights to distract & calm the brain. I’ve done that in the ambulance for a couple of patients having a psychotic break - really helped.

When I was 17 I had a relative that did this stuff and after visiting a friends house one night during the summer, I tried some and it seemed alright for me. So, I started just getting some from said relative and eventually during a time when it was hard to procure more, I ended up scavenging through all different packs to find any to pack a bowl in the early morning before school. I subsequently had a seizure in the bathroom and had to be rushed to the ER and only ever remembered waking up handcuffed to a hospital bed (apparently, I tried to be combative with EMS) next to my parents. It was an evil life changing experience I'll forever carry with me and I continue to have seizures 10+ years later presumably because of this event.

the dirtiest, worst off street people, especially if you see them chilling near a bodega, tend to do this stuff. it's a wildly incapacitating high to make them forget their miserable existences, just a small amount and you can sleep even on a hard street, and a bag can be had for as little as $5. seeing the people who this is their drug of choice, knowing that using this is a big part of what they've become, is why it's one of the few drugs I ever just had no curiosity to try at all.

12 years ago my roommates were hanging with one of my lifelong best friends, and they passed him a bowl loaded with a massive amount of 50x salvia, him thinking it was marijuana of course. this is almost e x a c t l y what happened to him. he was rolling and crawling on the floor as I reamed out those complete assholes for doing that to him. his explanation of the trip was CRAZY, and he’s not a drug user at all, so I know it’s 100% what he ‘saw’. according to him, his soul left his body, went through our living room wall, outside into the yard, and the crawling around he was doing, was him desperately trying to crawl back to his ‘body’. the experience for us as observers was maybe 4 minutes, but he said it was like hours upon end just trapped outside his physical body. It’s still to this day one of the craziest stories I’ve ever heard, including one I’ve had myself while ironically also being tricked into using PCP.

This is a big reason why cops almost always respond to 911 calls of overdoses. They weren’t there to arrest him, they were there to help him and make sure he didn’t hurt anyone. I’ve worked with lots of cops of medical calls and no matter what the original call was for, I still felt a little bit better having a cop with us just in case. Cops can also get places faster than EMS or fire can. I can’t stand when I see people complaining about cops responding to medical calls. They’re first responders just like EMTs and firefighters.

Someone once gave me a joint that I thought it was weed. At home I took 2-3 draws from it and immediately felt something was wrong. I was sitting in the living room and tried to go to my bedroom, but I was unable to walk. It took me almost one hour (!!!) crawling on the floor until I reached my bed. As I was lying there, a voice inside my head was telling me to open the window and let fresh air in the room and simultaneously a second voice kept saying "Yeah, go to the window, open it and jump down!" (5th floor). I never talked to anyone about it, but this video made me remember the most terrifying and scary situation I've been in my life! I later found out it was not marijuana but spice. I've seen some documentaries about this drug and how people react to it. It's horrifying and I cannot understand how someone can voluntary use it. I lived in an apartment complex in my early twenties, and I witnessed 2 brothers go from normal, to completely out of their minds because of K2! They went to the gas station a few times a day. They started beating their girlfriends, and the rest of their family members that lived there. They got so bad off, and desperate, I was scared to be alone; we had a 1st floor apartment. It was really sad to watch them decline so quickly.

Me and two of my friends accidentally got spiced by someone I thought I could trust. Just bought some shit off of someone I used to know in primary school and had bought off of a couple times before. Smoked in a park and didn't feel it at first. All of a sudden, as I'm waiting for the bus back home, my entire body felt like it had dropped through the floor all at once. I ended up passing out on a bench and getting heat stroke under the sun. Thank god I was found by an off-duty ambulance technician before I could actually dehydrate or get robbed or even worse. My two friends got back in an uber and threw up in the guy's car. The hangover was awful, like I'd been beaten to a pulp. Scared us all so bad we didn't touch weed for six months afterwards.

When i did drugs with friends a frew years back a buddy of mine smoked a huge bowl of spice and almost died in the middle of a forest. We called the ambulance and most of the guys left the scene because they had drugs on them. I hid mine and staid with my almost dead buddy while he was vomiting everywhere. I had to move him every 2 minutes because i was in fear he would choke on his own vomit. After like 40 minutes 2 policemen and 12 firefighters along with 4 medics and 1 doctor came to save his life. The policemen later asked me what he took and i just gave them the bag he had and told them everything i knew about that stuff. My buddy was transported to hospital and nobody was charged with anything since Spice was legal at that time. He survived in the end but he was close to death mutliple times. Never do this stuff it will kill you some day.

I smoked weed for about 10 years. I have to say that something similar to this happened to me once. The scariest situation of my life. All I remember was feeling like I couldn't breath, becoming very paranoid, and crawling out my friend's bedroom window. I don't remember anything after that until much later when I found myself in the middle of the woods near my own house. Which was several miles away from my friend's house.
Safe to say, I quit smoking weed after that.

K2 was crazy here in ohio from like 2011-2014. Had some terrible times with that shit, unfortunately. I hit a bowl of it 1 time went through synptoms of a serious concussion. Didnt know where i was, what day it was, couldnt recignize my pregnant fiance, or any of my cousins and friends that were there with me. I was on house arrest at the time and kooked down at the ground, saw my ankle monitor, and proceeded to freak the fuck out. Instant, and total, amnesia. Inhad to wind up getting in the car with my home boy and go for a ride to finally come back.
    Craziness. Terrible, terrible, terrible shit.

    • @blazedbabe333
      @blazedbabe333 7 місяців тому +4

its referred to synthetic weed because IT does affect the cannabinoid receptors, just with bad chemicals. (people still make it, but its not sold legally)
My brother smoked spice throughout highschool when it was popular & could purchase them at karma. He can't smoke regular weed anymore due to the panic attacks.. no matter what or how much is smoked, it messed up his receptors still to this day.

Basically criminals create "designer drugs" in labs which mimic street drugs but avoid existing drug laws, detection, or testing. Some of this stuff ends up on store shelves, disguised as another product. Lots of other weird drugs, like MDPV, were sold as "bath salts" because they looked the same as regular epsom salts on the shelf.
Remember a long time ago when that guy in Miami bit the face off a random homeless dude he passed by? They found a bunch of pills in his stomach, but weren't even able to identify what drug he took. Who knows really.
The switch in society from plant based drugs to synthetic drugs has resulted in the worst drug crisis in American history. Largely the fentanyl & meth coming from cartels in Mexico.

Back in the day the JWH series were pretty popular and somewhat “safe”. But over the years of continuous banning of various types of synthetic cannabis analogues the creators of this crap had to get creative in loop holing through the bans. In turn they’re creating these new synthetic cannabis that are even more potent and dangerous than the original k2/spice that people used. permanent brain damage from using this shit is very real.

Spice is legitimately one of the most terrifying substances. The way it fucks with you, the almost 0 chance that you’ll be able to actually find out what’s in it if you need help AND the fact that someone could buy it thinking it’s weed and not know any better. You can smoke all the worlds weed and fall asleep, so if you think k2 is weed and go in the same it’s fuckin horrific. It’s not like bath salts where it’s clear right away that it’s some super hard shit.
Really hope this dude is okay and his brain recovers
