Hi Sasket, In an agile environment ss it best practice to have QA and dev tasks in the same sprint on the same Jira board? Does this create the complete velocity of the agile team?
Hi Saket, Your videos are really helpful for Scrum enthusiasts. My question is why we are considering 20 in the Fibonacci series when it should be 21(13+8)?
I think it is just to simplify the numbers , most of the agile books used this pattern, I am not aware if their is any other reason than simplification
Hi Saket. If Person X does 5 user stories with cumulative story point of 20 In 2 Hours & Person Y does 3 user stories with the cumulative story points of 20 in 2 hours , then who is considered more productive in agile world in terms of output . ? ( Assuming story point allotment criteria to each set of users stories is same )
If both of them working from same office and same environment mean same machines and tools and has same amount of details available for work. So when everything is same other than person, we can say so. In real world that is rare, so we need to see details.
Hi Saket, I have a question regarding this video. Since we are conducting Product backlog refinement using story points. Why don't scrum has this activity added as one of the defined ceremonies along with other ceremonies?
They want to keep it open since it varies from one environment to another in some cases PO may do lots of one to one work and only take small time from time in another PO may need lots of support from team, but i see teams identifying it as meeting for their own process and that is what expected.
The video 4 in this series is made for your answer. When we talk about effort we need to connect it with person, so yes same person doing story 3 and story 5, should take more time in doing story 5 in general.
Hi Saketh, thnx , have few doubts In the SCRUM team we are estimating soon after retro and while starting the next Sprint in the Story point estimation , we include DEV & testers ( Omit the PO & UI /UX team ) they are in meeting but they wont be giving because they cant estimate the developtment time . is what we are following correct ?
I see this is good in general until you have issues, generally backlog refinement can be done sometime mid sprint and after retro its more on doing Sprint Planning. But if the current way working well, than good.
I have question, then why we are turning into days in. How can we educate team and bring this change of L that these numbers do not represent days or hrs? Plz help me
The 4th Video in this series focus on relation between Story Point and Days, and our objective of these 4 videos is to answer your question only: ua-cam.com/video/gSJVmemODYs/v-deo.htmlsi=uwr8Y0Xk06ymk6sO
Just one word... ' WOW'
Thank you for checking

Yes, absolutely and we call it all what it takes to achieve the Definition of Done and it should have Dev and QA check points

Does a 5 in the Fibonacci mean that it’s takes 5x the effort, duration, etc than the previous number 3?
