Your so welcome! I was really really pleasantly surprised by it! Like you the ones that go on white really freak me out, I've only had negative experiences with them. This one was great, in so glad I gave it another try after the final formulation! I would use it again for sure ❤️
To me the Alva & Go is very matte. I dont like my dolls really matte and it was too much for me but not sure if it matches the Genesis because I never used it 😉. I just started using heat set for lack of a good air dry varnish...no more Golden polymer matte and the new formula soft touch is bad.
You might really like this one then. It has a really nice soft matte finish. Genesis matte was definitely super ultra matte, kind of like what you're describing with Alva & Go, which makes me want to try it even more! I've found a couple new heat set varnishes that work well, but none that are that true ultra matte like GHSP was.
I watch many of your videos and they are very informative and I trust your results. The only thing is you talk too much at the beginning of the video instead of getting right into it. Why can't you talk as you work. I love your tests and will continue to watch but it is a lot to view before any test even starts

It's always difficult wanting to give info about it for people who have never heard of it and having to interrupt to explain what I'm doing if I'm talking about the product. But I can start giving all the product info at the end which is what I used to do. I got complaints back then that they didn't find out it was heat set or whatever until after they watched but feel like my audience is a bit more experienced now! If you click on the video while it's playing there are also time stamps that will take you to each video part with the description. This is something I'm always working on, I even have a sticky note on my desk that says no chit chat as I'm trying to get more focused in videos 😂
