I can't remember exactly how I found your channel, but I remember also finding your ASMR channel so perhaps that's how I found this channel I'm not sure but I love both. Your voice is very relaxing even if your not whispering and your accent is very soothing haha. Its really cool to see how big your collections have grown! I saw a video of yours from 2009 when you used to film showing your face and stuff and it was really cool to see how far you've come in these years! Well done man well done!
The Wii U is such a joy to collect for. Mostly really cheap and a small enough collection for a complete set of physical games for one region seems quite attainable, and getting a full set that includes other-region exclusives doesn't seem much more difficult at all. I just have a humble 15 games so far, but even with about 93% of the collection left, it doesn't really seem intimidating at all. At least compared to, say, a complete Wii collection.
Yup, very doable, but still has a lot of depth and rarities if you want to expand the collection to variants, etc.

After your video I had to look at my german version of Turbo. And yes, they did the spine wrong on this too. Thank you for your Wii U spreadsheet. It helped me a lot to get a "PAL" complete collection together.

I picked up a WiiU and a copy of smash bros for it for $100. I've picked up 9 more games since. It's fun. I don't want to get a Switch so this is great for games with friends like Mario Kart.

Maybe, just because that would give game stores a reason to exist. Somebody still has to sell the consoles, so those kind of editions would give revenue from games as well. (I wouldn't be buying them, though)

I remember in a previous video you mentioned a possible variant of Wii Sports Club (I think...?) with a different border color, were you ever able to find it? I would check our local used games store here and there but never saw it... lol
I wonder what the US-only unique game is you mention at 2:13 ish... the one less, was it a Cabela's Hunter type of game? For some reason I find that really funny if so, like the "Yankees in the US" only have that title.. if I'm not mistaken they don't typically release elsewhere on current consoles so I wonder if the same...
The US has one more game total, but it's not like they have otherwise identical releases. There are a number of European exclusives and US exclusives.
You mean a Sports Club with a different coloured case? I kinda gave up on those, difficult to verify online thanks to people being able to switch the cases to white. :)
i will have all the good exclusive wii u games physically and the others on my pc playable on cemu emulator

Ok, I'm not 100% sure about what I'm going to say but I believe there wasn't a physical edition of Shovel Knight in Japan. There was one for the 3Ds (The game bundled with the amiibo) but for the Wii U it was digital only there.

Hi Finngamer. There is an edition of „Lego Marvel Super Heroes“ that is not in your spreadsheet (and in your collection, I guess): a germany exclusive variant with a poster and a corresponding button (printed) on the cover. And a question about a game I don't know: What is up with this „Donkey Kong“ Limited Edition from Russia? I have never seen a picture of it … Nothing … Many Greetings from a Wii U collector in Germany.
The Lego Marvel Super Heroes with poster is in the spreadsheet? Though it is not a German exclusive, I've seen it in at least two languages, one being English.
The Russian DK surfaced a while back, but tricky to get a hold of from that part of the world.
I have a complete NA collection and most variants, very few EU and Japanese exclusives, but I have seen 1 or 2 collections that are even better than mine since I just collect the games. I do have the two most expensive variants out there. Collecting for USA is HELL since you basically have to find most games twice or thrice. Scribblenauts Unmasked with Green Lantern isn't that rare if it's opened, I have two of them.

I think I started collecting a couple of years into the lifecycle of the Wii U, so maybe in 2014. And finished the collection then, in 2019.
Don't have any special places to dig them out, I started when they were still cheap and plentiful in bargain bins, then it was eBay. Though the most fun I had was picking up most of the Japanese exclusives while on my trips to Japan.

Yes, there are two versions of the game, one with 1 amiibo and one with 2 amiibo. The 1 amiibo version is rarer and more expensive.

I have a question:
In your spreadsheet you mention that shovel knight has a physical release in japan but I couldn't find anything about it. Same goes for pac-man ghostly adventures 2 and mighty no. 9.
Upon doing some more research neither could I. I guess they we're coming out at some point and I just listed them under Japan when the rest of the world had them, and didn't double check. Thanks for the correction!
I have sadly missed out on the Axiom Verge release due to work, but I am still confused. Does the outer box have a PEGI-rating on it? Or ESRB? The story behind this release is so crazy I really don't know what they ended up doing. Should be PEGI, I assume.
No, ESRB. Axiom Verge came out US only, via the Limited Run company. So sadly no PAL-version at all.
Do any of the "Editions" provide extra content ON the disc itself or exclusive DLC codes that are not able to be purchased alone on the eShop?
For example:
Kamen Rider: Battride War II - Premium TV & Movie Sound Edition has 40 songs. Is it a separate audio disc or on the game disc itself?
Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes - Starter Pack (with extra content). Is the extra content DLC on the disc or just a code or physical content?
Kamen Rider, on the disc. Not sure about Disney Infinity 2.0, mine is still sealed.

I have it, I just don't count it as a separate release. The sleeve was provided separately, so it's more of an accessory than a game.

I did not see the unlimited world red straw hat edition in your spreadsheet.
There's just one version of One Piece RED on the Wii U, it does have a sticker on it that states it has DLC inside, but the cover does not say "Straw Hat Edition". So I have just marked it with it's normal name.
What is the difference between Dragon Quest X: All in One Package (2014) and Dragon Quest X: All in One Package (2015)?

Looks like you collected these at the right time, near it's death where the harder to find items still existed in the bargain bins. It crazy how a game like hello kitty racing commands 50 dollars now. But I agree the value in these games is a complete collection.

isn't there also a darksiders slipcover that was Latin America exclusive?
I've heard of this, but it's a bit of a gray area. Was the game sold with the slipcover, or is the slipcover basically an accessory instead of a game? Is the slipcover officially printed or made by someone else? I'm not sure.

You couldn't the Wii U was region locked.

Though it was a flop, it Seems like you picked a good console to collect for. Seems like the console is much harder to find than the wii or switch because of their sales numbers.
i suggest to get a wiiu now, the games are dirt cheap and they are gonna get really hard to find soon
Yeah, I got most of the games for next to nothing back when they were on clearance sales on stores.
As a Nintendo console, it'll always have a following and prices will go up. A failed Nintendo console is always a good thing to collect for. :)

Not sure what kind of variants you mean, but if the variant is still called "FIFA 13", just with a different cover for a different region, then I'm not inclined to count those.
@@finngamer In Japan and USA the title is different it's FIFA Soccer 13 and for Japan I've forget. But I was asking because with the fullset I do on the Vita and the FIFA games have differents code on the side/card depending of the country

Haha, on the contrary. Being a "failed" console, there's very few bad games or shovelware. It even has only three sports games.
Only 25 games worth playing would be the N64 to me, I rather play the entire Wii U library than the N64 all day...
Moulin13 in comparison, I ever only owned 6 games on the n64... so percentage wise, I’d agree.
