We used to have to go looking for some bomb ass hills or some nice parks with smooth roads and little hills. but with something like a boosted board, it's just little to NO effort required and that's not nearly as fun.

I got a used backpack like this for 10 bucks last year and a small cruiser and it's not ideal but really an okay solution so far. for example for getting to the station and then just straping it to the backpack on the train...
i agree slightly, for me i live in a town with sharp hills everywhere and sliding probably isnt a good idea with all the cars around and i have burned through enough shoes, an electric brake would save a lot of problems for me because ill be taking it on a bus

Idk of anyone else feels this way but really what problem are any of these boards solving? Real long boarders don't want electric boards. Real skaters want tried true and trusted boards that already exist. Eco friendly is great but when your deck alone costs 400+ bucks who exactly is lining up to buy one?

Im gonna save you time. All 5 are flimsy piles of crap made by people who dont really skate. Advice: Get a real longboard, a good rig, learn to skate/slide, and then go bomb a mountain!! You dont need electricity when you have incredibly powerful machines called "leg".. they say.. that a board can go 12 miles using electricity. Well.. I've gone 50 miles in one go with "leg" and the thing is, these incredibly powerful machines improve a lot more the more you use it or the harder you push it. Also id like to mention that "leg" self repairs and grows too...incredible! and only really runs on sugar and water! compare "leg" to "electric".. yea.. I wonder how efficient "electric" would be after a few months after riding if it isn't fully fucking broken already.
I feel like the lean board actually turns worse than a normal board with the same amount of lean. Those dues were nearly dragging the ground to get a slight amount of carve out of it. If I got my traditional board that close to the ground, I'd be making really tight turns. Cool concept, but I think the geometry of the mechanism needs work.
Here's a easier way to use transportation instead I'd spending hundreds of dollars on a dumb longboard. Get a skate board and put some cruiser wheels on it. If you enjoy skateboarding like me and want to go some where far away. Or if your one of those longboarders that never learned how to Ollie just buy a cheap one
Electric longboards are stupid, I'm working hard to make people enjoy exercise through longboarding and these guys make it a fat people thing. Innovation should be towards the betterment of mankind not degredation

Rayne, Loaded, Madrid, and DB all make quality longboards and have spent a long time perfecting the craft of making longboards.

Exactly how the guy describes it Original Longboards does. and I'm sure it's A LOT cheaper than the Leen guy is selling his "invention." Original also sells boards that are dipped in so that you're able carve a lot easier.

as someone who can actually ride any normal board, riding a boosted board is easy it takes a while to get used to not pushing but after that its very fun, also pushing the board doesn't really make you more or less healthy in my opinion

Too low blow a small hole will catch your trucks. Expensive board = 0 Looks like your riding a salad dish that wont handle unpredictable surfaces.
The big wheels would be helpful. I just broke my ankle because of my board hitting a crack. Would definitely try this.
