Seeing you ride since I was little. And still watching you ride now when I'm older. Great talent and definitely hard work. I want to start somewhere and just try motocross ..
Remember what I tell you.. he'll come out on fire next season in Anaheim barring injury in the off-season. Chad still has it and the talent level is so so right now , he can come back healthy and comfortable on the bike and compete, believe me
Great track!, tight, technical, and CR22 an awesome rider, a living legend. I would just ask him to give the very last drop of a champion and train 110% in order to win his last SX round. That would be the cherry of the pie. ;)
I know, but one more year paying from his own pocket is too expensive. I am not sure he'll be willing to do so.. Come on Chad gogogo for your last win!!
Chad reminds me of old farmers that are still out there farming when most are long since retired. This is his identity. Idea: with Reed's Supercross knowledge & experience could he take on Baker factory to train the next series of champions with backing from a factory? Honda has been dry for a while. May be time to take a new approach for one of the best ever. Granted the only way Reed trains Jedi SX riders is to become a Yoda. He needs to stay involved with the sport somehow when he decides to cross the finish line that final time as a sx racer.
Reed is unique in that most champions can't bear to settle for the nothing but top spot after they have achieve it so they quit. Reed really does love the sport. The other side of the coin is Villopoto, the pressure he put on himself to win killed his love so he quit early.
I'd like to see what he'd be capable of if he trained under an Aldon Baker; even at his age. I think he's given away a bit on his fitness and race readiness at the start of the last few seasons. He'd have to swallow his pride, but it could be amazing. As for mx, he's way down the list for MXoN. Ferris, Lawrence, Beaton & Gibbs would smoke him outdoors.
chateucaddy I'm sorry man, but have you ever seen the guys I mentioned ride? Ferris was top 2 in his first US moto ever & the other guys are both inside the top 5 in MX2. Reed wouldn't see which way they went.
yep i laughed when Ferris went over he did so good and it was just some fun for him and ps it wasn't his first race over there he did go with ktm over there years ago but that was on a 250
Celine.....You race for your country at the mx of NATIONS! Its literally in the name. Germans race for Germany. Italians race for Italy. Mexicans race for Mexico....its a pretty simple concept to understand.
what bike is he talking about? he said its not an aluminium frame anyway? dunno... do yamaha and ktm use steel or aluminium of what? they dont always go for that bigger pretty aluminium frame, sometimes just the simple tube frame.. especially ktm... is he talking about that?
When the passion is gone there is no motivation to jump out of bed,run to the garage and start your bike up.He will find passion in something else....id love to see his last race..
I agree he needs some like Alden Baker to ride his ass hard to get him back where he needs to be now I know he ran the 2018 season injured so hopefully will see some good stuff to come on 2019
Proof Supercross is killing the sport of motocross Stefan everts was 35 when he won his last world championship Toni cairloi is 33 and signed another 3 year deal. Everts 10 titles cairloi 9 my point is when I was a kid motocross was wow supercross is to draw families that really into racing it's a night out for The family
He never had the speed stew and rc dominated him every race but you say he the goat 😂 rc is the goat and if stew could of stayed on the bike he would of been in that goat talk but reed no nowhere near
You're an idiot RC & stew wouldn't agree with you. Read raced RC more than stew & RC raced each other Reed racer stew more than stew & RC raced each other. Read the RC and stew more than stew or RC beat each other. All 3 of them are in the top 5 winning riders of all time Reed also raced the Ryan's & beat them straight up & has more wins than both of them but they have more titles. Reed also has more podiums than anybody in Supercross history podiums include wins so Reed has more podiums than Jeremy McGrath who has 72 wins. These are all great riders why hate on one. RC and stew lived in Florida their whole life never moved Reed had to go from Australia to Europe to the US & Florida to South Carolina give each man credit for what they accomplished they're all great
Dunno why, but Chad's voice bothers me, not really in a bad way. But some times he still sounds Aussie, but a lot of words his voice is just straight up American. It's confusing the fuck outta me.
Harry_B 123321 Yeah I get that. But it's not like he's got a fully American accent, so it just sounds weird being in the middle of an Aussie and American accent.
His nationality is Australian, he's been living in America for years however. And I'm Australian so it's quite easy for me to pick up on certain parts of his voice.
+Celine You have done this before and its pisses me off, If i move from Ireland to the US I'm still Irish Chad reed is Australian He lived near New castle then moved out west and his parents bought property so he could ride and practice on the bike. He has always had a wired Accent even before he moved. He races MXoN for Australia Not the US doesn't that tell you or are that dense mate
I don't agree with the part of not bring involved racing motos... if you want to retire successfully, has to be in full or don't do it. It is my opinion. Chad just disappointed me. You want to retire under your terms. Fans need a little more from you please.
Chad owes nobody...The amount of effort and injuries he has endured is incredible.! 228 or 29 sx starts in a career is unfathomable...the goat only did 100 and sum ....in his entire career. And Chads still going! .. Chad deserves to be on his own terms and we are lucky to still have a guy like him showing up every weekend! He does it for HIMSELF....and that is 100% legit to me.
I'm a fan since day one, however, what I meant is that he could do way more and he's not giving that to us. He's putting to much on the bike, strategic but not on himself. Guys you can't make a universal game end just on your way, I mean, respect to the man, but I was expecting more. I know it takes a lot to physically and mentally but that's what I meant; do it right or don't do it, or is he just doing it for himself?
Kevin Vandusen , I agree with you, however, RC did have a more intense and aggressive career that CR22. CR22 has done amazingly awesome, but my point is that he's not supposed to go partial to get done. I appreciate he's at 35 still rolling; which I don't think that should be a limitation but we have been told to believe that. So he's no making me and some friends of mine proud. You can't just get a job done the way you want to keep or maintain people's respect, especially himself with this trajectory , history. Look at James Stewart, you see how many people are waiting for him to come back, you know why he's not back? Because being James Stewart is not easy and bring those amazing races he gave us, and I respect that. CR22 need to stop making people believe and himself he's doing more than enough. He want to make us proud, needs to work harder on him, if he doesn't agree, I will respect that, but DON'T come like you are doing to much and we have to be happy.. nooo that's not racing. You race or you don't .. to the fullest or not.. He's not giving he's 110% on my opinion, that's it.
Seeing you ride since I was little. And still watching you ride now when I'm older. Great talent and definitely hard work. I want to start somewhere and just try motocross ..
Chad Reed it’s always an honor to watch you ride. I hope you stay in his sport as long as you can god bless you and your family
Chad Reed is a true living legend. The real GOAT!
😂😂😂 only got wins when stew or rc crashed
real goat . charmichael
A true embassador to the sport!
Celine can you calm down
Remember what I tell you.. he'll come out on fire next season in Anaheim barring injury in the off-season. Chad still has it and the talent level is so so right now , he can come back healthy and comfortable on the bike and compete, believe me
22 will always be a super star enjoy whatever you u do next
Great track!, tight, technical, and CR22 an awesome rider, a living legend. I would just ask him to give the very last drop of a champion and train 110% in order to win his last SX round. That would be the cherry of the pie. ;)
Rodrigo Salas Olivares he's riding with a crushed ankle , believe me ... He's focusing everything for next year's supercross
I know, but one more year paying from his own pocket is too expensive. I am not sure he'll be willing to do so.. Come on Chad gogogo for your last win!!
So a great guy ! with perfect jazz music behind
Chad reminds me of old farmers that are still out there farming when most are long since retired. This is his identity.

Whatever you do you have done aussie proud.👍
Reed is unique in that most champions can't bear to settle for the nothing but top spot after they have achieve it so they quit. Reed really does love the sport. The other side of the coin is Villopoto, the pressure he put on himself to win killed his love so he quit early.
From Aus with love mate
He needs to get that outdoor Cairoli drive back.

chateucaddy I'm sorry man, but have you ever seen the guys I mentioned ride? Ferris was top 2 in his first US moto ever & the other guys are both inside the top 5 in MX2. Reed wouldn't see which way they went.
Celine Roczen is from Germany...
yep i laughed when Ferris went over he did so good and it was just some fun for him and ps it wasn't his first race over there he did go with ktm over there years ago but that was on a 250
Celine.....You race for your country at the mx of NATIONS! Its literally in the name. Germans race for Germany. Italians race for Italy. Mexicans race for Mexico....its a pretty simple concept to understand.
Good luck Chad. Decoster retired in his mid/late 30’s. He had nothing to prove anymore either. Then Honda hires him. Rest is history.
It’s a shame not to see him on MXON with Australian team this year!
My dude,
and hes still racing in 2021
GOAT
You're on monster energy super cross game
what bike is he talking about? he said its not an aluminium frame anyway? dunno... do yamaha and ktm use steel or aluminium of what? they dont always go for that bigger pretty aluminium frame, sometimes just the simple tube frame.. especially ktm... is he talking about that?
wotever99ninynine Hamilton ktm and husky use a steel frame the rest use aluminum.

When the passion is gone there is no motivation to jump out of bed,run to the garage and start your bike up.He will find passion in something else....id love to see his last race..

So guess for the people who screech about his retirement on the forum now can finally can it.
You know he's retired you know no more racing you know over you know ya know do you know.
If chad reed want,s to get up there he got to go in the gim
I agree he needs some like Alden Baker to ride his ass hard to get him back where he needs to be now I know he ran the 2018 season injured so hopefully will see some good stuff to come on 2019

Reed the biggest crybaby in motocross
Dunno why, but Chad's voice bothers me, not really in a bad way. But some times he still sounds Aussie, but a lot of words his voice is just straight up American. It's confusing the fuck outta me.
It’s because he has lived in America for a lot of years so he picked up an accent
Harry_B 123321 Yeah I get that. But it's not like he's got a fully American accent, so it just sounds weird being in the middle of an Aussie and American accent.
