I love the review you did, however, for the price requested for this particular model, I'd hope for better, more efficient packaging and product quality. Most of the box shows a huge amount of wasted space as evidenced by the multiple sheets of packing bubbles. There is so much extra flashing on the parts, which amounts to extra time prepping the pieces before assembly. I know you stated that it's "paper thin", but again, that's just not very high quality in my opinion for $250 USD. The parts are all thrown in to the package. How do they ensure that you are getting all of the pieces? This could amount to having to get support from them in the future. It may result in a beautiful "end product," but again, for the price they are asking, I expect better results. Hopefully, this is not a complaint against the company in the regards that people shouldn't purchase from them, rather, I hope the company takes this as constructive criticism and can continue to progress on the quality of the product.
I would not mind if the box is to big for its contents. its about whats in the in the box. They probably bought a standard size box, which would be cheaper than get custom made boxes. I agree on the flashing though. Flash should be prevented as much as possible. No or very few flash shows the quality of your molds. I really like the wood grain decals! My paintwork probably would ruin it. A high price should also mean a high quality in my opinion. Having said I love that they made a 1/35 scale Waco glider. I bought the 1/35 Horsa from Bronco and would be awesome to have the Waco glider next to it. Although the price will prevent me this moment. Unless I win a lottery or something similar.
