Those hills!! The bit when we got to meet the person behind control tower was brilliant and very endearing. Thanks a ton! This place never ceases to enthral me with surprise after surprise in the sky and on the ground. Stay blessed brother!
Thanks for showing us the kewl cave; the motorbike footage; and especially for letting us put the face to the voice! Would love to see more content like this and of daily life there with your wife n kids! Thanks!!
I like longer videos, I like shorter videos. They are ALL fantastic. I love the narration and content you put into the mission. I like hearing what you and why you are doing it. The views, of course, are breathtaking. I must say that the thing I enjoy most is the comments and explanations you give as the mission continues. Time's., speed, changes, why, altitudes, obstructions, options, I love it all. I can make the flight from YOUR narration. Thank you for super content. There is NO other flying channel that provides all you do. Thanks again.
I liked the short insert clips of the Goroka Tower person and the motorcycle ride. You have mentioned them before but it's better to actually see a bit of that kind of thing.
Thank you Ryan for the video and most importantly thank you for bringing me safe to Aibai for the survey and back to Goroka. Will share the link to all RAA and to all my friends. God bless you and your mission in serving rural population of PNG.
Sent my Father your Link. He was a Patrol Officer in the Highlands in the Late 60's. Am sure the scenery will bring back many Memories for Him. Thanks Ryan.
Nice to see Roland's face. He has such a smooth and relaxing voice. I mainly listen to your video's to help me relax and fall asleep. I watch them every day, and watched many of them several times. Don't get me wrong, I really find your vlogs very interesting. Hearing people talk English just has a calming effect to me. The sound of the radio communications and the plane make it even more relaxing. Since I stumbled on your channel there hasn't been a day I didn't watch at least one video. So if you're wondering why you have daily hits from Belgium in your UA-cam stats, I might have a part in that 😃 Anyway keep up the good work, and keep the video's coming.
Ryan, please add the content that you normally don't post to your channel. The last time you posted something like that I gave 100% thumbs up1 I believe that is just as exciting to watch. Keep up the good work young man! Love your stuff!!
I believe the plane's software can calculate the windspeed by calculating difference between your TAS (using the pitot and static port) and ground speed (using GPS in your case but you can also do this with the inertia systems in airliners).
As always enjoying your awesome flights! Adding some ground footage and drone shots is fantastic. Please continue to mix ground, drone and flight stuff! Thanks again for sharing, God bless you and your family. Stay safe.
Ryan, Nice short flight Aibai to Goroka, nice to see Elimbari. We used it as a navaid on our flights from Hagen to Goroka (VFR flights in those days ). I think Aibai was called Yobai in those days, anyway thanks for the ride, stay safe.
Morning Ryan, another fantastic video - possibly your best ever. I really feel like I’m flying up front and getting a birds eye view of the beautiful PNG mountains.
Wow awesome trip with you again & yeah pls include more behind the scenes footage here on UA-cam it will be awesome i would love too watch it bro Ryan & NTK.
Once again a great video! Thanks for the glimpse to the cave and to the tower of Goroka not forgeting the breathtaking takeoff at Aibai 8 car hrs from Goroka!
Absolutely awesome footage and commentary Ryan. Makes you feel like I’m in the plane flying with you. Haven’t missed a vid. Watch your videos with pilot buddy who flew commercial airline for 40 years. He loves watching all your videos. He’s your biggest fan. Thank for all you do for the missionaries and again just a pleasure to watch.
Very cool! I found using topographic maps and satellite imagery what appears to be a large cave system in the Sepik region that does not appear to have been documented.
@@MissionaryBushPilot I don't want to post the coordinates publicly online but if there's a way I could send them to you privately I will. Would be super cool if you could fly over and take a look.
If you’re wondering how the G1000s works out your wind direction info, it takes data from the pitot/static system, accelerometers, gyroscopes, and GPS, then it can work out the difference between your TAS and GS to give your your head/tail wind component, and using the accelerometers and gyroscopes determine your crabbing angle, which when algebra’d with TAS gives your your crosswind. It’s the same maths you’d do manually with a wizz-wheel and compass, but way more accurate, quicker, and constant
Exciting takeoff. Once out of beta and pointed down hill, the Kodiac is ready to go. Great view of MT. Elimbari! I would love to be able to explore that cave, and see what is in there. Excellent video! Thanks Ryan.
Yes, the Goroka golf course is fun - first hole you tee off a big hill, then on the ninth hole you come back up that hill. I have a small scar on my head from being hit with a nine iron on that last hole. 😋
Excellent aerial shots particularly the take-off, the tail-mounted camera is working really well. A little disappointed that there wasn't any ramped-up video from the wing camera in this one, this always looks like a giant kid has picked up the plane by its wingtip and is running around with it, which is cool. Another ace video and btw I enjoyed the last one too, the destructive pigs were interesting..
Yea, you got my adrenaline pumping again when I saw that runway, definitely exciting. More of, “Air America,” take off’s and landings. Always done better than, “Mel Gibson,” in the movies. How do you do it? Watching your videos reminds me of flying in the, “Hawaiian Islands.” Please continue making exciting and adrenaline pumping videos. Maybe doing some cargo parachute drops on the next ones. Them sloped runways get me every time.
Yes I agree nice to see the person on the other end of control ! Any flying personnel that help you do the difficult flights you have to do , man it's difficult for me to land a glider with supervision in perfect conditions !!
Bonjour Très intéressante vidéo Paysage superbe .beaucoup de turbulences par contre Merci pour le passager Vous n'avais pas de vidéos de transport de cargaisons. Se serais un plus Merci encore D.J
You know Begers can't be choosers sho really what every you put up I an watching. Always good stuff. I think I am going to check out the bike rides you do. I have harleys but really wan't an adventure bike. Good stuff thanks for sharing.
Great videos, Ryan. Quick question, Why no mask? Especially since your RS passenger is wearing his, but you're nowhere near 6' separation. Apologies if you've answered this before for someone else. Cheers.
+ 1 to what Mark H and 5150lane said below. I hope I got subscribed to your motorcycle channel also, I hit subscribe when the white screen came up. Thanks Ryan.
Ryan Pops. Yeah that cyclone previous weekend kicked the crap out of Kalbarri ! Does one feel sorry for this old tourist town 400 miles north of Perth, W.A. ? Keep up the MBP scenic flights dude. V.

Hi someone using your photos then he add me on messenger and in what's app but thanks to God coz now l know that he is a fake I'm sorry for my word
“It’s Ryan again” That’s exactly what I say when I see a new video posted! Hands down the best cockpit vlog.
Wow thanks!

It's always cool seeing how you navigate through various wind and weather conditions, especially in such unique and remote airfields! Thank you Ryan!

Videos are amazing, Ryan, it's like sitting in the jump seat without the turbulence🤗😎
Really great to fly with you and all you share!!👍🙏

Thanks again Ryan. Always enjoy the flying and the background to the flights.

Love that takeoff! Love the smooth landing, as always! The 360 cam definitely adds a lot to the videos! Great work!
Marvellous... would love to see a session on PNG ATC... no matter how remote, there is some one to talk to
Very interesting stuff. Quality upload . Thanks
Nice one. Thanks for the nice view of the cave and mountains. :)

Yes great to see the goroka tower guy as we hear him on many of your viders
Enjoyed that one from Aibai, taking off is a bit scary but you did it again, Ryan ✌
Love the vids you put a lot of effort in and it shows. All those camera angles. Keep it up.
Glad you like them!

Stimulating video. I did not know the aviator's profession. And now I feel a lot of respect and admiration for the pilots of Nueva Guinea
Interesting cave. On approach, I noticed a golf course. Interesting. Keep producing great videos.

Always fun to ride along , Thanks.
Are you able to talk to your Copilot in-flight with no headset?
Awesome pictures as always. Thank you very much for showing us this video

Well 15, 20, or 30 min. these are the best in class on the internet.
Nice when you add some ground content - gives us a better overall view of what is happening in PNG. Thanks for your good work
Glad you like it!
Thanks again for the ride-along; up to your usual standards. That Kodiak was def'ly bouncing all over the sky.
Awesome video buddy!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Well done!! 👏 Thanks Ryan. Cheers.
My pleasure!

couldn't agree more 😁

love your vids
I am sure whatever you want to film on here we will like. Go for it!!! Also can’t wait to see you fly a helicopter!!!
I'm still hoping he comes to his senses and cancels the helo training! Man is not meant to fly in those contraptions!!! Way too many moving parts!
Great video. Less stressfull to start from Aibai than to land there! Noticing that even in PNG apparently some people believe in the mask.
Nice video thank you
Finally we get to see the handsome gentleman in Goroka Tower!
Is that a golf course you flew over coming in the left base for 35R?
We did some spelunking near Mt. Elimbari when we were kids.
That's cool. Sounds like fun
As Betty might sayyy This Video was OK :) actually it was very Enjoyable as usual.
i was in png for 3 mos. in 2004 , this site rocks,my ex is from balimo
do you speak tok pisin?
Yes, I'm at a capable level in speaking it.
stay safe !!!
nice video

Yes, mix on the ground content!!
Looking forward to your caving video. Look for old bones, teeth, fossils etc.
That would be fun
It so cool I do this same flight in msfs2020 all the time
Hello from Minnesota USA 🇺🇸
That looked bumpy plane was shaky LOL
5:00 Freudian classic, you need to fly home Captain.
yes...do add ground-time content! :)
Pretty sure I'd be prone to mistaking 35R for the taxiway...
Great videos, Ryan. Quick question, Why no mask? Especially since your RS passenger is wearing his, but you're nowhere near 6' separation. Apologies if you've answered this before for someone else. Cheers.
By law pilots are not required to wear a mask, and to be be honest, I could care less if I get Covid
Like a bit of ground content 👍🏴
AWESOME VIDEO.....THANK YOU TRU RYAN
Glad you enjoyed it
@@MissionaryBushPilot i did. Mi hamamas.
Nice to see the controller.
I would like to see some of the on ground footage as our church supports numerous missionaries in PNG.
Is there a video explaining how you use the box on top of the dash?
Yes, I have a few. Its not connected to anything, just a flip checklist

Sorry, thanks for the heads up. I"ll look into it.
Certainly like this mix, what is TAWS please?
Terrain Avoidance and Warning System
@@MissionaryBushPilot Thanks Ryan, cheers from Western Australia.
The cave 7:08
mixing up the story makes it really interesting, will increase yours subs and your youtube income imho
That's the plan 😉 I will be adding more ground content in the future. Probably try to get maybe two a month at this point.
The 15 m. videos aren't long enough :0
well, when the flight is only 13 mins, it's hard to make a 25 min video of it.
I want to see 1 litre soup cup pottery up on merch.
Couldn't find the video to meet the atc's. Which category is it in? I thought I looked through them all.

With four stripes, could you qualify for a major airline's 737 and fly as Captain?
If I went to the airlines, I would have to start like anyone else and work my way up. But I have no desire to fly with the airlines.
