J.Cole knows how to pick them. Everyone on the Dreamville label is incredibly talented. There’s tons of rappers right now that are amazing and actually have a clear message when they rap.. sadly they aren’t as mainstream and don’t receive much radio play

I was at the LoL finals when I heard it for the first time (they had an intro teaser of like 10 minutes for Arcane) and everybody was jamming HARD on this
Mate, not just the chorus brings chills on my back,BUT ALSO the fact that ID is basically living through the song through his body, the way is moving his body, his soul, his mind and his vocals is something i don't get to see to often.
This is one of their few performances where the mic of the other band members are so in sync that you can hear their vocals too instead of only Reynold's voice. Whenever they sing in other performances you can barely hear them, but not here. Love it!
Pleasantly surprised this is actually fully live with no dubs or autotune. It sounds great, the imperfections actually add to the energy of the performance.
The imperfections and voice cracks when you hear live singing is 100% a better experience than some auto tuned “perfection”. Like any art, emotions should be felt through the work, and when you “perfect” in these kinds of artificial ways you don’t feel emotion, you feel something produced.
Omg at 4:30 to 4:40 her voice just fits perfectly and made the performance more magical. I kinda wish Imagine dragons got female vocalist to add some extra magic in their songs ♥️
I love how both Dan Reynolds an JID are reproducing a bit of Jinx's demeanor (when they crouch for example), it adds something up to the atmosphere of this masterpiece
Came here to watch Enemy and was happily surprised to get an unexpected bonus Build that Wall by Darren Korb and Ashley Barett. It's lovely how they joined into each others songs. :)

JID will always be one of the best flowers of this generation! And he actually raps with substance
Try JPEGMAFIA and Akintoye too!
@@blorblin peggy’s good but the beats are a little too wild (for me) sometimes.
@@kirtrex thats fair. i'm a diehard peggy fan but i get what you mean. he slaps tho
J.Cole knows how to pick them. Everyone on the Dreamville label is incredibly talented. There’s tons of rappers right now that are amazing and actually have a clear message when they rap.. sadly they aren’t as mainstream and don’t receive much radio play
In terms of flow and wordplay this guy is one of the best of new gen hip hop, so underrated
Bloody amazing. I love Imagine Dragons but myself and my kid have just finished watching Arcane on Netflix - this is the theme.
They don't need Autotune, Autotune needs them
Trueeeeeeeee
Nooo they need it ready do need it because it sound like dying cats on some parts
Thank you guys for 250 likes you losers
wrong. during the falceto parts they do not sound good. well doing rasp and normal they sound good though.
😶😶
@@mightyvideos334 idk but they do need autotune
Imagine Dragons são tão bons que se você escuta a voz deles, você já sabe quem eles são, e o legado q eles marcam com as músicas deles.
Quando eu escuto eles eu lembro do rag, bone man.
The Bastion soundtrack is one of the best in gaming history, and Darren Korb is easily one of the best gaming composers ever. So cool to see him performing on stage at an event like this!
This is the comment I was looking for.
this popped up in my reccomended, and when i saw darren korb with NO mention of supergiant games my heart literally lept out of my chest. so cool to see how popular they have gotten-- honestly super happy for them.
Everything is perfect. The Darren and Ashley collab, the haunting performance of Build That Wall and Enemy, JID's VERSE. Holy shit, all perfect.
you could hear JID getting happier as his verse started to come to an end, and that just made me so happy ☺
he was either happy or extremely out of breath lol, im still surprised at how hard he went though. absolutely killed it
It would make me happy if UTube banned this dross. Utter utter garbage.

If you hear a song from imagine dragons you didn’t know existed, you know it’s from imagine dragons. Cause imagine dragons voice and songs are one genre
So true, I first heard this song when watching arcane. Then I went straight to youtube and searched arcane-imagine dragons
So true
I was at the LoL finals when I heard it for the first time (they had an intro teaser of like 10 minutes for Arcane) and everybody was jamming HARD on this
Yeah true. I recognised this song at the first go.
Mate, not just the chorus brings chills on my back,BUT ALSO the fact that ID is basically living through the song through his body, the way is moving his body, his soul, his mind and his vocals is something i don't get to see to often.
That s just lame.
Live musician: _performs live_
Everyone: *P A N I C*
I've been to an Imagine Dragons Concert and Dan just kills it live, this dude is crazy
*His*
Bruh his is a man look it up
@@W-ha_t bro they not talking bout JID
@@JMC59861They're talking about the female singer
HER NAME IS ASHLEY FKN BARRETT
I love how both Dan Reynolds an JID are reproducing a bit of Jinx's demeanor (when they crouch for example), it adds something up to the atmosphere of this masterpiece
J.I.D. just off in his own world, so stoked that he nailed the end of his part was, and remains, a mood.
Came here to watch Enemy and was happily surprised to get an unexpected bonus Build that Wall by Darren Korb and Ashley Barett. It's lovely how they joined into each others songs. :)
man those harmonies are the best part
Darren and Ashley are fucking awesome.
@@Nykolara Love their work for both Transistor and Bastion. ❤
Glad to see more imagine dragons in gaming, enemy is a banger
This is such a great performance! This destorys every other "live" version of this, and the fact that Darren Korb and Ashley Barrett are in it as well doing Zias Theme is just... amazing.
so are we not going to talk about that perfect dab up at the end? overall 1000/10 performance
You can HEAR their hands clap together I fucking loved that!
Ashley barret, darren korb e imagine dragons!! Nunca me imagine verlos juntos TREMENDA OBRA MAESTRA
Even Sting sang falsely and didn't hit the notes, and these guys sang the hit very clearly!
Every time I watch, I think how adorable JID is when he finishes his part. That pure elation that leaks into his voice at the end and that genuine excited smile ❤
EDIT: All of them just have such energy onstage, you can tell they love what they do, it's really refreshing to watch
Very true!
4:15 jids excitement in voice and his smile
I wake up to the sounds
Of the silence that allows
For my mind to run around
With my ear up to the ground
I'm searching to behold
The stories that are told
When my back is to the world
That was smiling when I turned
Tell you you're the greatest
But once you turn they hate us
Oh the misery
Everybody wants to be my enemy
Spare the sympathy
Everybody wants to be
My enemy-y-y-y-y
(Look out for yourself)
My enemy(Look)-y(Look)-y(Look)-y(Look)-y
(Look out for yourself)
But I'm ready
Your words up on the wall
As you're praying for my fall
And the laughter in the halls
And the names that I've been called
I stack it in my mind
And I'm waiting for the time
When I show you what it's like
To be words spit in a mic
Tell you you're the greatest
But once you turn they hate us
(Huh)
Oh the misery
Everybody wants to be my enemy
Spare the sympathy
Everybody wants to be
My enemy(Look)-y(Look)-y(Look)-y(Look)-y
(Look out for yourself)
My enemy(Look)-y(Look)-y(Look)-y(Look)-y
(Look out for yourself)
[JID:]
Uh, look, okay
I'm hoping that somebody pray for me
I'm praying that somebody hope for me
I'm staying where nobody 'posed to be
P-P-Posted
Being a wreck of emotions
Ready to go whenever, just let me know
The road is long, so put the pedal into the floor
The enemy's on my trail, my energy unavailable
I'ma tell 'em hasta luego
They wanna plot on my trot to the top
I've been outta shape
Thinkin' out the box
I'm an astronaut
I blasted off the planet rock
To cause catastrophe
And it matters more because I had it not
Had I thought about wreaking havoc on an opposition
Kinda shocking they wanted static
With precision, I'm automatic, quarterback, I ain't talkin' sacking
Pack it, pack it up, I don't panic
Batter, batter up
Who the baddest?
It don't matter 'cause we at ya throat
[Dan Reynolds:]
Everybody wants to be my enemy
Spare the sympathy
Everybody wants to be
My enemy
Oh the misery
Everybody wants to be my enemy
Spare the sympathy
Everybody wants to be
My enemy

IMAGINE DRAGONS SUCKS, MY MUSIC IS BETTER
His voice is freaking incredible honestly where have I been living- under a rock?!
I've seen JID live twice and this definitely lives up to his normal live concerts, always a joy to see him live
I love Imagine Dragons, but Ashley Barrett man... What a voice. Bastion and Transistor soundtracks are absolutely superb.
Imagine Dragons singing "Build that Wall" with Darren Korb & Ashley Barrett was such a pleasant surprise (and something I didn't know I needed). What an excellent prelude for "Enemy"!
The harmony between the lead and backing vocals at 3:15 are honestly bonechilling to the point that I don't think I can listen to the studio recorded version anymore.
There wasn’t a single moment of this whole performance that wasn’t cool and like really well done, the first song, female vocals, blending into the second, male vocals, and his movement across the stage while singing, the balance of vocals and backing, the amazing rap, the guitar solo and drumming amongst others!!!
Actually, i spent several days to learn that JID verse, and compared to the recorded version he had some little mistakes. But yeah, that was really good.
And the one thing i actually can't imagine how to make right now is how to save enough oxygen for the last few lines :D especially considering he was actively walking on the scene.
Why is literally every good song I hear from Imagine Dragons, seriously just unbelievable how many good songs they have. How is that even possible
I didn't expect to hear Build That Wall! Love the transition between the songs! What an awesome performance!
Friendly reminder these guys are canon in lore.
I’m obsessed with the powerful energy in this song ❤️🔥 everyone’s voices work SO WELL together!! And omg HOW!! (3:13)
