In this presentation Sam discusses why he believes VHF transverters are still a good solution for the VHF bands.
Sam Jewell is now retired from a large telecom company where the last 17 years were spent in a research environment. He has developed and published a number of transverter, converter, signal source and low noise preamplifier designs over the last 50 years. Some of these designs, such as the Meon transverter, are now regarded as classic designs.
