I also heard in some movies the door opening sfx of Morrowind or the howling wolves of Beasts & Bumpkins with that specific small bell sound at the end.
When the Warcraft movie came out, the last battle has an orc getting blasted by a gun. The Orc has the peasant death cry! Sadly i was the only one who laughed in the theater. I feel like someone in the movie's production played WC3. I LOVE THE MOVE TOO lol.
In the first 3 seconds you can hear something resembling a Priest (?) death sound too, or it's just me after working a 10h shift and coming home at 1am having hallucinations. XD
WC Orc: Call us whatever you want….but never compare us to the Tolkien Orcs….ever. Footman: Why? WC Orc: Dude…look at us… 7ft jacked warriors…and then look at those gross bow legged mutant hunched losers from Middle Earth… You really think Garrosh would have any issue killing Lurtz?! Footman: Well… damn good point…
Wow, I wonder what's the origins of the Peasant Death sound, then. If other media took it from WC3, or did Blizzard grab it from a common open source sound pool
its cos all the WC3 sounds that arent voice-acting are just stock audio from online sites. So shit loads of games use the sounds from these sites cos its easier and cheaper then making your own. Edit : Theres a WC3 Bear sound just before the peasant death sound lol.
It should be lotr death sound used as wc3 peasant death sound. Because thats a scene from the first movie and it was released 2001, wc3 was released 2002. So what is more likely that they both used a free use sound that was available at that time, would make sense because they were in production during the same time.
I swear in some old movies, the animals also make the same sounds as Thunder Hawks and Riderless Horses.
@@nchp1903 and Bears. That one makes sense though because game and movie creators bought sound packs instead of recording their own sounds
@@xetanth87 yup exactly
@@xetanth87 they did it for original DOOM as well, Imp uses camel sounds, weapons use sounds from the same DVD
Do you guys remember the sound you get when you click the Academy in Starcraft 1?

Out of all the stock sounds, the peasant death sound lives so rent free in my head i can pick it out so quickly haha!

I thought I was the only one who heard it! not sure if it was lotr but I think so, I surely heard it somewhere watching a movie thinking I was crazy
You're not crazy, these are stock sounds available for purchase by studios making stuff.
Also used in Empire total war's opening around 1 minute in when a cavalier gets stabbed.
You're the king? Well I didn't vote for you.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I can't stop laughing and hearing the "Our allied hero has fallen"
ive seen wc3 voicelines/sounds used in other media. i saw a mr bean movie (of all movies) and in one scene, they included the wc3 ship sounds.
true the hotel eps
There's multiple Warcraft 3 sounds I've heard in other media. One I remember is a gargoyle sound in Starship Troopers 3.
I did hear it in that movie too, assuming it was the other part of the movie, perhaps a different movie, and perhaps I did hear it multiple times.

Well, Tichondrius' warcry is the black speech of the Ring's markings, and few other things.
@@AswelGaming yeah but that's a reference, not a reused sound
Yup i never notice until i want the lord of the rings a couple of times eonsago
some old movies also have sounds from AoE2
You’ll hear that same sound in Game of Thrones Season 1 Episode 5 when Bronn kills a guy. 😂
Also the Bear death.. I hear it multiple times in other movies
This scream also plays in Battlefield: Bad Company.
I swear I hear the Hydra's death sounds in way too many different medias.
Same DVD of stock sounds
I didn't knew Warcraft 3 heroes can swim 😂
You know never thought of it because there's no multiplayer maps with lots of water but can naga sea witch swim in pvp wc3?
@@JN-hs5xl Oh yeah right,my bad.I forgot.Makes more sense if I said "orc heroes" instead of all heroes in the game 😂
its funny that people know every detail of things 😂

This is called "the wilhem scream". It has been used on countless movies and is considered a commom easter egg among filmmakers.
