The Brother Gibb are their genre. The brothers Gibb have done it all. There is no group like them. So blessed to have grown up with all their beautiful music.❤
I love your reaction!! Aren't they great!! Their music was very big when I was in my 20s. I always adored the Bee Gees and always will. Barry Gibb, the soloist, is still living. His two brothers singing here have passed on. 💜💜💜
Back in the late 70s when this was recorded, there was no autotune and they did this performance in one take. All of the proceeds for this beautiful song were - and still ARE - donated to UNICEF. The Bee Gees were a step above the rest of the pack.
The great thing about the Bee Gees is that they cross over several genres...Disco, Pop, etc. The more you listen to their catalog that spans DECADES, the more you will grow to appreciate them. They are fantastic!
Yes, well said. I remember when they transitioned to Disco when it became hot in late 1970s. Before Disco, they were pretty successful, but reached new heights in popularity with Stayin Alive.
The Bee Gees are 3 brothers who were born on the Isle of Man (a protectorate of the UK) and then moved to Manchester in the UK. They later emigrated to Australia with their parents before returning later on to the UK before then going to the USA. The one in the middle is Barry (the oldest) and on the left is Robin and the right Maurice who are twins. Barry is the only one left now. They also had another brother, Andy, who was a solo singer but he died at a young age. They had loads of fantastic songs over many genres and decades. They also wrote music for other famous singers like Barbara Streisand, Dolly Parton etc. No auto tune or gimmicks just pure talent.
There sister is still alive and from something I read she is also a good singer but didn't become famous but she did sing with the brothers in the early years.
I loved watching your reaction to the Brothers Gibb. I grew up with their music. Some made fun of them. I know, right? They are amazingly talented brothers. I knew from the beginning - "just wait til Barry goes up in octaves!". Sure nuf - you threw yourself back in the chair with that beautiful bug smile and were blown away. Again and again. So happy that you have not only discovered their amazingly beautiful music, but that you felt it. Made my day! Thanks for sharing. 🎉❤🎇
I’m so glad born in the era when music was about loves and togetherness . U never find music like this again from 50-80s priceless and beautiful classics
Bee Gees are much more than disco. In fact that was a small part of their five decade career. Their catalog is over 1000 songs and they also wrote for other artists.
One important note: They wrote ALL there own songs and for Barbara Striesand, Celine Dion, Dione Warack and many more. One of my very favorite bands of all time.
Barry, the guy in the middle, was married and the father of 2 children when this song was recorded. He's been married to the same woman for over 50 years and is the father of 5 children. Too Much Heaven is my favorite song. The Bee Gees music is timeless.
I love watching you! I'm old enough to be your grama! You make me laugh. I love your comments. Wish I could meet you. You are so much fun. I love the Bee Gees!!
That’s what the Bee Gees do to you. 1000’s of songs down this rabbit hole. Wonderful reaction and appreciate the trouble you go to with your effects too! 🔥
The Bee Gees are one of a kind. Listening made me cry. I felt just like you did every time I hear this song. Yes, it is beautiful and amazing. Much love ❤
Love your reaction, and YES, this is a crying type of song. Isn't it beautiful? I grew up with the BeeGees....how lucky am I?!?! THIS is music and the power it has to inspire you! Fabulous!
Bee Gees can and HAVE done all types of genres. Soul, disco, R&B, pop , rock, easy listening, dance, country. All they needed was a Rap album, call it The notorious Bee Gees.
I was only 27 when this came out in 79. We were used to listening to real music. I think it's a little mind-blowing for the younger generations to hear this kind of music.
Went to Heaven and didn't have to die! This is my first time sitting in with you today! Thank you for allowing that! I enjoyed the time I spent here with you so I subscribed and left a like for you while I was here. It's heartwarming to see that the Brother Gibb still have that magic touch and they touched you deeply! I loved your fireworks and balloons! "Stayin' Alive" should be next!
You could react to one Bee Gees song a week and it would take you years to get through all of their great songs. Five decades of fantastic song writing and magical vocals. The covered so many genres. I have almost 160 favorite Bee Gees songs. They started performing when Barry, middle was 9 and the twins Robin, no beard and Maurice were 6. Their parents discovered them singing in perfect three part harmony. This is all they ever wanted to do. Barry is the only living brother. You mentioned wedding song and they have a song called, Wedding Day. R&B Fanny Be Tender With My Love. Funk Nights On Broadway. Love You Inside Out. Staying Alive. They had a much younger brother Andy. He had a superstar solo career. His first three songs hit number one. Sadly he passed away in 1988 just five days after his 30th birthday. They had announced that January that he was ready to permanently join his brothers as the fourth Bee Gee. Please react to Andy Gibb on the Midnight Special singing, I Just Wanna Be Your Everything. Enjoy the journey. These brothers are incredible.
"He's undressing somebody's wife with that voice!" Perfectly said. They are the definition of "Super Group". HUGE catalog you can get lost in. Great reaction!
I loved your reaction to my all time favorite group! Loved the fireworks too! The music of the 70’s was awesome!! Real talent! No auto tune either. Look up more Bee Gees songs. They don’t disappoint! I’m now a new sub❤️
How do you comment to perfection. Your reaction a as what I would expect. This is one of the most lovely Bee Gees tunes. You hit al the beautiful aspects. Thank you.
I'm so delighted to watch your reaction to the music from my generation. I'm 78 now, still keeping up with all the good music of today. But it's missing just real straight up talent. No flashing lights,or naked girls, no Auto Tune.mmJust 3 brothers and one mic. Journey into 70 80s music..enjoy
I loved the Bee Gees , however after hearing them again I realized I did not appreciate them fully at 12 yrs as I do now! Thank you for sharing! Yes, they can bring tears.
Love the Bee Gees. Their voices are real and beautiful. This is my favorite song. There are so many more. Alone, For Whom the Bell Tolls, How deep us your love, Words and How can you mend a broken heart are just a few. They went on for many years. And sorry I feel like they are on their own. There is nobody like them. Their voices, the harmonizing is nothing short of amazing. ❤❤❤
Three brothers who love each other, with voices in perfect harmony. Now only one voice is left. I was around for all of their music, plus another brother ANDY GIBB,he died in the 80s or 90s
Loved seeing your smile and the light in your eyes. I’m glad you have found The Bee Gees. They produced their music over a period of 5 decades. They wrote over a thousand songs most for themselves and some for other artists. You have a lot to enjoy. Plus they are down to earth and funny.
Some of their music was disco but they are considered soft rock or "easy listening"! BTW, they wrote this song along with 2 others (Tragedy and Shadow Dancing) in ONE DAY. They also donated every penny from this song to charity!!
Bee Gees were the very first concert I ever went to lol. Yes I'm old snort. Loved them and their brother Andy that passed away very young. All of us young girls were in love with Barry sigh.
It is honestly great to see young men and women discovering the music from the 70's and 80's. The normal music today just feels for the most part, copy/paste. Growing up with the Bee Gees, Blue Oyster Cult, Journey, Queen, etc. really makes me feel blessed to have those as my basis in what music is. Like I said, you can find good music today, but it seems to be the exception, not the rule.
The magic of Bee Gees is how they grab your emotions with their music. Check out Fanny, Be Tender With My Love by the Bee Gees.Your favorite spot , look at his face, it looks like pure bliss.

Actually, the Bee Gees were all of those things. They started out singing country as children and even today in 2024 Barry Gibb, who is the last man standing, was inducted into the country Hall of Fame for all of the songs he has written.
How can you ask a favorite of the Bee Gee's.. Not my era but I love all their music... their baby brother Andy was my preteen crush.. I can't even think of one song I love more than another. truly... their music was just that great to me.
