With the new guys you can see the kids Role Play angle creeping into the toys & by extension the show's representation of the weapon systems. The giant gattling canon or bow look like something the kids are supposed to play with and so are a bit large for the 8" Centurions figures. So something the original systems over all look more cohesive to me - though I do also like Seabat.

I agree, I think the original systems looked like they all had the same designer, the new ones while being different didn't all hit the mark for me. I think they could have done better with all of them. Seabat is cool but the hoses look odd to me. I definitely prefer Depth Charger for Max.
