    Hear you tell it, MJ has 13 rings, 13 FMVP, 13 regular season MVPS, 13 DPOY, 13 scoring titles, never ever missed a game winner, never got blocked, never had the ball stolen, never had a turnover 82-0 for his whole career! I mean damn!!! It's ok to think MJ is the GOAT but stop trying to lessen LeBron or any other player's greatness to help boost your argument. You can appreciate greatness from another player. I remember watching Jordan in college at UNC and as a rookie throughout his career. Through both "retirements" "Flu game" "The shrug" winning a title on father's day after his dad was murdered, coming down the lane switching hands against the Lakes in game 1 of the Finals.... The push off and the pose to win his last title, shot over Ehlo, the tongue hanging out, chewing gum, chalk toss, the commercials, the shoes, wagging his finger at Mutumbo after he dunked on him, his failure at baseball, his failure as a GM and owner with Charlotte etc......I saw it all. I also saw him get run over by the Celtics and Pistons for years and then by Shaq and Orlando when he unretired. And I won't even mention his 2 years in Washington with the Wizards. He was one of the best if not the best to ever do it, but that doesn't mean that LeBron, Kareem, Duncan, Kobe, Wilt, Magic or Bird were lesser players because he was so good. Come on let's be fair.

      There can only be one GOAT, and in my OPINION, Michael Jordan is the GOAT.

      He didn't have 13 scoring titles... He had 10.. in 10 straight season he played. But during those 10.. 9 was first team all def. Lebron was a 1 times scoring champion but didn't make any of his 5 first team defs on that 1 season.... There's a different level of play and mentality when comparing the two... That's just one example.

      @@dores34 if you can't tell I was joking with all the hyperbole in my post then we can't have an intelligent conversation about this subject. You honestly don't believe that if he had wanted to, LeBron could have won many more scoring titles? If he wanted to, he could average a triple -double for an entire season. He made 6 all defensive teams and was twice runner up for DPOY. He averaged 30 PPG at age 37 in his 19th season. He has more buzzer-beating, walk off playoff game winners than MJ and Kobe combined! He has finished in the top 5 of MVP voting in 17 out of 19 seasons. LeBron won 4 regular season MVPS in a span of 5 years, Bill Russell being the only other player to do so. In 2016, he led both the Cavs and the Warriors in all 5 statistical categories in the NBA Finals. Points/rebounds/assists/blocks/steals . And all of that against the greatest regular season record of 73-9 in NBA history with the 2 time back-to-back unanimous MVP who is widely considered the best shooter of all time , Klay Thompson who once made 14 three pointers in a game, dropped 60 in 3 quarters and 37 in one quarter. Not to mention, the DPOY in Draymond Green. Oh and rookie head coach in Ty Lue for the Cavs. You can miss me with that different mentality crap because it is factually not true. There is overwhelming evidence of Lebron being clutch in both the regular season and the playoffs, to include the Finals. He has been clutch both offensively and defensively. You are entitled to your opinion. Everyone's opinion is subjective and open to interpretation but don't try and diminish someone else's beliefs when good sense and FACTS tell you otherwise.

    • @dores34
      @dores34 2 роки тому +2

      Tell me your joking. You just said "IF he wanted to". The lakers could of went to the playoffs THIS YEAR if he wanted to too. Do you think lebron wanted to go to the playoffs this year? You naming 4 mvps in 5 years. But he's played 19 seasons and has only those same 4 mvps. To MJs 5. Next in sure your gonna count Lebron 2 place MVP votes too. Like Jordan never placed 2nd in MVP and DPOY too. Now your counting runner up finishes and "IF HE WANT TOs". Did you want to vs Dallas?? I can't tell.. but I guess his mentality doesn't matter. Nobody is diminishing Lebron at all. Stating that he has 1 scoring title and not on 1st team def the same year is not diminishing him. Jordan won the scoring title, 1 team def, MVP and finals MVP in the same season 4 times and LeBron hasnt done that once. That doesn't diminish Lebron.

The amount of disrespect from all angles of life from this weak generation is astounding. LACK OF COMPETITION .. Dude, typical millennial . Go watch the DANGERP video with jordan compared to lebron. @@redtesta "if you sneeze on someone is a foul" Lol. Remember what magic Johnson said to Michael? "You can't get close to Michael or it's a foul". This trend of a superstar getting more foul call is been going on in the NBA for long. And ofc today's NBA players are more skilled. 7 ft ers today would dominate like the NBA back in 90's if it's not because of those new rules. Now center must have handles, or else they're not getting the ball. As you can see from the last season this big guy start dominating the NBA again, top 3 MVP candidate was jokic, embid and giannis. But their playstyle is completely different the big guy from the 70's-90's. Ther handling the ball.

Who is handling shaq now? nobody? Who is going to handle hakeem? nobody with his skill set and moves ( youtube video of him teaching lebron lol) Except shaq, each center back then had mid range. Robinson, hakeem , ewing and a couple centers that ended up with injuries where they never saw their potential but could have been great like Arvydas Sabonis that had mid and 3pt range. 90's players played more defense and the whole athletic thing is to much . TRUE athletic player are more than being flashy. Kyrie .. athletic. Lebron, NOT athletic , strong and big but not athletic like a jordan, kyrie and many others i can name. On the defense this generation against all the big men in the nba from the 90's they would get handled inside and bounced around. How they going to handle 6ft9 rodman? lol. Looking at centers now , there are a few that impress me for sure but the whole athletic branding should be carefully thought out who is labeled with that. Its like how people throw around the word racism now. Its losing its meaning being abused so much and the actual racism is looked passed.

    • @justrandomguy178
      @justrandomguy178 2 роки тому +1

      @@redtesta let me just fix your brain for failing to understanding the meaning of athletic. What it means to be athletic?
      adjective. physically active and strong; good at athletics or sports: an athletic child. of, like, or befitting an athlete. of or relating to athletes; involving the use of physical skills or capabilities, as strength, agility, or stamina: athletic sports;athletic training
      First let's talk about LeBron strength. His trainer once said that back in Miami he was bench pressing 225 with 15 reps.
      Agility, his 40 yard dash was 4.6 second while MJ was 4.3. Despite being heavier and taller the difference was only .3 second. And LeBron's vertical was estimated around 40 inches, that's unbelievable for a guy with weight around 250 lbs.
      Going stamina LeBron is really famous for his longevity, and he's been playing in the NBA for 51.899, the most total minutes played in the NBA. He average 38.2 minutes per game. That's how athletic he is. All of this data I got from his combine and current stats. This guy is born for sports that some people thing he can dominate the NFL as well if he choose that sport.

As.much as you may FEEL like you hate LeBron or you don't.like his game or that he is a legitimate threat to the lofty pedestal you put MJ is irrelevant. If MJ had never existed, we'd still say LeBron is one of the best to ever do it, but when uneducated, uninformed, UA-cam Highlights basketball fans get on their soapbox, and in their feelings, it doesn't matter how good a player is or even if they are just as accomplished or even more accomplished than Jordan, your feelings get in the way of pure, unaltered, unassailable, undisputed facts. Not subjective feelings but FACTS!.

Same height or taller than james playing POINT GUARD. LOL .. Jordan is goat. James needs to worry about top 10 and KOBE along with BIRD need to be brought into the conversation for #2 -8. #1 is taken and i dont see it being taken over .. Yeah, I have to agree with this guy. LJ really didn't have to work hard at all for most of the dunks on this highlight video. MJ would have a field day today. And I really have to wonder how LJ would if he got mugged every time he went to the rim. But I guess we'll never know.
    Another thing that I noticed is that every play had 2 or 3 replays. This guy's been playing for almost 20 years and they have enough time in his highlight video to show the same play 2 or 3 times? When I watch a MJ highlight I'm constantly rewinding because the plays are shown only 1 time and they just come so fast because there's so many there's no time to pause.
    One other thing I noticed. 4 out of the top 10 plays were ally-oops. Really? How hard is an ally-oop to pull off for someone who calls himself the GOAT? As far as dunks go, they have to be the easiest. You have someone feeding you the ball.
    Sorry, this highlight video just reinforces my conclusions. LJ doesn't make it into my top 10.
    If there's another highlight video showing LJ actually working for a dunk, let me know.

      no that's not the only reason,,,,,here's some more for you....hear avg the highest points in the reg season and playoffs, he has 10 scoring titles, 3 stl titles, DPOY, 9x 1st team defenses, one of 2 players to have 100 block, 2 stl seasons (MJ did it twice), he has better footwork, better handles, faster, higher vert, better post moves, better fadaway, better going baseline, better freethrow shooter, better fakes, better moving without the ball, better shooter, better one on one defender, better team defender, more creative, more elusive, more clutch....and a bunch more...but you get the point

    the game back then was slower. the game back then had the hand check which was a super lazy way to play defense. you didnt have to multitask. you can keep your eye on the player with the ball and know where the man your guarding is at all times with the hand check. meaning you didnt have to worry about the man your guarding cutting in without you knowing cause you can keep your hand on them with the hand check rule. besides that the hand check rule was banned in the 2000’s. did the hand check stop penny, chris mullin, mitch richmond a baby kobe or a baby iverson? no. and those players werent as great or as skilled as lebron.
