happy to be the first !!! happy to say that I am already almost at the finish line of Nihei maze just finishing the last staff probably next weak I will be at the end anyway thanks for giving me the power to go on and finish so many of his works !!!
Awesome video compilation. I didn't know about the "Battle Armor Insects" one. Also, congrats for hitting the 3 digits on the subscribers count. Nihei's works really deserve to be known by more people. Looking forward to the next video.
he likely changed his mind about silicon life after seeing the humans genocide them, so they were right, when killy connected to a silicon life, he said they weren't doing this for fun but because it was nessessary to survive
@@NeostormXLMAX I'd say Killy indeed used to believe that, but let's be honest, he was wrong. He killed the Observer with cold blood for no reason, even Mori was like "wtf dude". To me it seems akin to how real life racists come up with justifications to their beliefs, the prime example being the "Jewish Question". #justicefortheobserver
@@Kickiusz the jewish question is entirelly different lmao, this is more akin to the native americans, or islamic "terrorist" groups. the silicon life where original inhabitants who had archaic traditions and technologies compared to the humans and their enviroment was being invaded by humans so they would raid them and routinely sabatoge them so there grew xenophobia. no one accused the silicon life of controling everything like the jews, and they didn't even have access to even close to safeguard technologies, and used gurrella tactics to win. if anything the provincial safeguards were more of that the jewish question happened because 90% of bankers in europe were jewish, and when economic collapse happened they were blamed, some rightfully so, but that is much more complicated than that because it was a religious thing in history.
@@NeostormXLMAX yeah, I guess your example is better. It was really going more by notoriety than anything else. Though from Killy's perspective, it's the Silicon Life who are the invasive species. Remember, he was canonically around (although completely offscreen) for the events of Noise, or at least before the City went to shit. It's also implied that he regained his memories when he rebooted, which was before he met The Observer. As for their technology, Silicon Life literally started from leaked Safeguard tech. They are also shown being able to control Structure Conversion Towers, though it seems they don't have access to _all_ of Safeguard tech, because why wouldn't they use GBEs if they could.
Chapter 11 can't be an alternate version to the Blame! anime movie cause I read it long before the movie was released. They just adapted the story of this chapter to the movie.
Huge on your channel. Love everything about it. (Except for the lip smacking, you gotta stop that 😂) Keep it up, I can't wait to see where you take it.
Chapter 7 is a weird interpretation of the real life reproduction cycle of the deep sea Lantern Fish (fish in the deep sea are weird & practically like from another planet). For YEARS the lantern fish had confused scientists because every specimen they captured was female, but some had some weird bumps on them. They kept searching for male species of the Lantern Fish until one day a scientist made the shocking discovery, the little bumps WERE the males of the species. When spawned the baby fish are like tadpoles, very small & easily eaten by predators. Eventually the female tadpoles grow into large lantern fish, but the males stay small. So how do they procreate? What happens is the males fuse their entire bodies into the females, and that's how they share their genetic information somehow, the females spawn tons of eggs & the cycle begins again. It's very off putting to realize it happens in these weird deep sea fish, but in this chapter Nihei draws a story where the same life cycle is repeated but the fish are depicted as human like (and the female is a giant), it is even more disturbing.
Netsphere engineer was great!
Another great, informative video dude. Keep them up!
Awesome! Nihei and Q Hhayashida are the best in my opinion anyway.

The best thing in _Blame! 2_ for me was learning that Killy's no longer a racist.
That's so true that it's kind of sad

hahaha I immediately started googling "what is lip smacking"... I'll see what I can do
I’m pretty sure that Zeb Noids and Suzumega both act as sidonia prototypes
I wish he continued the sequel :(
Why do you think Killy let P-cell escape the megastructure?
