I Got to meet Lee a couple of times while he was playing here in Hawaii. Super nice guy! Classy / personable. There are a lot of players out there that sound alike. No one sounds like Lee. When we first met his line of harmonicas were just coming out. I got to sit and talk with him for awhile and he gave me a few harps. Always played L.O. harmonicas since then. Good quality. Lee being one of my biggest idols I told him that the first $5 bucks I made playing my harp I went and bought myself a B.L.T.. He smiled and knew exactly what I was talking about.

The Lee Oskar are great harmonicas. Great for starters (like I was) and easy to maintain. Excellent instruments. Thank you Mr Oscar.

I was given a Lee Oskar low F for my birthday 21 years ago. I still play it often. That's a damned good lifespan!

And what is great about Lee's harmonicas is you can buy replacement reed plates if you ever blow them out. And their customer service is awesome 👌 very helpful and friendly!

I bought (well known brand) harmonica and sucked a reed in less than an hour... I've never had that happen with the Lee Oskar Harmonica,
I've been playing wind instruments for many years and tend to push the harmonicas a little hard (...quite hard...!) and I've never had an issue with Lee's harmonicas.
Thank You Lee, for your robust design, your friendship and your talent!

Just got my first Lee Oskar, and got back into harmonicas bigger than ever. I have a couple expensive Suzukis and a good Hohner already, but the Lee Oskar is a million times better than anything I've tried yet.

Thank you for making those Harmonicas. I bought C, G and A keys and love them very much. They are hard to find in Thai Market. As soon as I found the starter set consisting of the major, melody maker, natural minor and harmonic minor harps with pouch, holder/hanger and manual available in Thai market I bought the kit right away. My best purchase of the year.

In my job I had some travel time on the road. I used that time to play harmonica. I started with the Hohner Marine Band and ended with Lee Oskar. Never went back. If your ever stuck in traffic keep a keep a harmonica or two within reach.

Yeah... I love these harmonicas. I have 3 of the special tuned ones for some songs in my gigs. I play alternative rock, Latin, and Turkish music. I also do country & blues on occasion. I'm still using your harmonicas that's 10 years old & still sound great. 🎵🎶🐀🐾

Hi played Lee Oskars ever since discovered them so many years ago. Never got the satisfaction when playing Horners. When I taught I always told my students to invest in Lee Oskars. Great instrument made for mothie harp players by a harp player.

It's a very educational video for those who want to step on the music path. I have a "C" of which I am very pleased. Thanks Lee !!!

Just got my first Lee Oskar after playing Hohner my entire life. The Hohner Orchestrer (D Moll) from the 40’s reminds me of the Harmonic Minor and I’m in love with it. Wish I had the opportunity to meet Lee and play together

I have some Lee Oskars and they play well while being unbelievably rugged. I also have a set in the minor keys to compliment my major key harps.

I've been using Lee Oskars since they first hit the market. Back in the 1970's and especially in the 80's, I was a busy nightclub musician who needed harps that were durable. Hohner's quality let me down so often that I switched to LO's. These hold up better than any other harp I've tried. Now that the price of harmonicas have gone insane, I can't afford to get burned with a defective new harp right out of the box. By the way, why have harps of all brands gotten so damned expensive nowadays?

I have several LO's. I bought the Harmonic Minor for Eastern European music, in Am... can anyone tell me what keys I should purchase? I want to know what keys are common in music for this style. Thanks!

Hey guys.. I bought a used Lee Oskar because I'm newbie and I really liked your Armonica better than others.. Do you think I may have some issue with a used Lee Oskar? Or the comb and other parts will perform well anyway..?! from a builder perspective I mean.. thank you from Italy.. maybe I will buy a new one.. next time.. it may sound silly to you this question but I see many other breath instruments sold used.. so I pulled the trigger on one of your Armonica.. I hope you will understand my point of view.. hi

lee oskar harmonicas lack proper responsivity, draw holes on lower octave are almost stuck with gentle inhale, harder to get it resonate than any other harmonicas I ve tried. Lacks balance comparing to outhale. Single draw sound seems also very hollow, dont like the way they play. It almost feels like a toy harmonica.

The album back in 1981 titled..
the music band Live recorded in Los Angeles California it's horrible horrible horrible ....
Have some day they can play those songs somewhat the way they were recorded both the lowrider band and the fake War band I highly doubt it😊😊

I grew up with the band War and I appreciate a lot of his solo material ,,,,
I just do not appreciate when he plays live the songs are un recognizable and he plays a very different notes I don't know why,,,
I hope someday he can stop that and play the songs so that they are recognized ,,,
the lowrider band and the fake War are horrible live shows❤
