Their horse manure probably had chemicals in it also. I don’t find many that aren’t using some sort of chemicals with their animals. Never heard that with cattle and calving before. Will keep in mind. We are having a run on cows calving and sheep lambing atm. So got to be careful as at about maximum stock capacity. A lot of the farmers around us are screaming for more rain as they are out of grass. They see my property and say “ oh you have 6 months of pasture left” they are all envious. The massive difference with me is I don’t overgraze . I keep our grass quite long. There’s so many benefits for doing that. First and foremost in our dry season our pasture retains the moisture a lot lot longer than all of there’s. In fact a good friend of mine and bigger commercial farmer was here the other day and for the first time acknowledged that he was envious of our place. Normally he is criticising saying “ stock don’t do well on long grass” now he is buying in expensive hay to keep his cattle going. He is financially going backwards everyday.

I'm interested in trying a yaupon holly tea. TBD. Let us know if you get to create a recipe/process that you can share.
So funny I didn’t even think to try making a tea just from the leaves, probably dehydrated leaf🐸❤️thank you
