Krieg was unfortunately experimented on. "Born to a family of bandits, Krieg endured abuse from his mother who viewed him as a weakling. Spurred by his mother to become stronger, Krieg grew to become one of the strongest members of his family on Pandora. However, his strength was no match for Hyperion's forces when he and many other bandits were taken by Dr. Benedict as experiments to become Psychos subjected to horrible abuse and experiments with the lucky ones being the first to die as each surviving batch only endured even more inhumane experiments where traits like self-harm, suicidal impulses, and reckless behavior were encouraged. Rather than bringing out his psychotic side and destroying his sanity, it only made him feel more powerless. Eventually, a fractured remnant of his psyche, manifesting itself as an "inner voice" in his mind as a means for Krieg's sane side to maintain hope and the will to survive. Learning that he was to be disposed of with the rest of the subjects and Dr. Benedict plans on using children as the next group, he breaks out of the facility and kills Benedict to prevent them from suffering the same fate. However, by that point, Psycho Krieg became the dominant personality and Krieg could no longer communicate properly." -from borderland lore website

List of stuff featured here (Important to low key): 1) Sirens: There can exist 6 sirens in the universe at once. Each of these have some sort of psionic ability that bends reality to them (eg, Mayas Phaselock shown in this video). They are identifiable by their tattooes which exist at birth 2) Psychoes: Krieg is one of these. Insane axe wielding madmen with an odd like for Shakespeare. If one of these are running at you either your going to be cut up or he wants to explode on you 3) Rats: Mutants made by hyperion experimentation of the inhumane type. Often varying from one to the next, from tiny midgets to beefy laser eyed mutants. 4) The train: The hyperion occupation of pandora brought along monorail trains, funded and generously provided by the hyperion corporation
BL3 says 8 sirens could exist but since Nyriad(the previous "8th" who some people believe to be the person Krieg was referring to when he said "no last words for the 8th") never said exactly how many sirens were around in her time it's possible there could be more... I am still waiting to find out who "the 7th" is since Nyriad seemed to be scared of this "7th" and the only things she fears are herself and the destroyer with the only thing shes terrified of being "the force opposite of the destroyer" that she mentioned(who some believe to be the 7th also sirens don't have to be born with those powers take Angel Tannis and Ava, for example, they weren't born with those powers they got them when the previous siren with those powers died
@@frankwest5388 yeah apparently up to 8 sirens could exist with the 7th who supposedly doesn't want to be found and has existed since Nyriads time(Nyriad isn't the 7th because she was talking about the 7th as if she knew her and talked about the 7th as if she would still be alive by the time someone finds and decodes her audio logs) and there is also some "force opposite of the destroyer" that is believed to be somewhat connected to "the 7th"... yeah the borderlands lore is beyond fucked

"Nobody Kills me! I KILL ME!" - Our Lord and Saviour, Krieg. (Currently doing a playthrough of BL2 with friends as Krieg and it's fantastic. Melee beast, gets too angry to die and screams something hilarious and insane at the top of his voice every thirty seconds. Borderlands at it's finest!)
As someone who played through the stuff they gave Krieg in Borderlands 3, he is *such* an interesting character. It's left deliberately obscure in his debut, but the TL;DR is that he used to be an assassin/bounty hunter and was tortured and experimented on by a corrupt corporation. As a result, he got mutated and developed a second, dominant personality. (For context, original voice is the one speaking rationally, new one is the poop train one.)
I remember being so hyped for this video when it first came out, big smiles, thank you for bringing back the memories Edit: Borderlands is a long-spanning franchise, you can play 2 without playing 1. It's just 1 sets up and introduces you to the world, can be bland without the DLC. BL2 is more story driven with the MOST iconic villain in gaming history. Krieg here, does come back in BL3 with his own DLC mission storyline that I havent played yet, but delves more into his character, and his relationship (potential spoiler? idk) with Maya (the Siren). But these are 2 of the 6 playable characters in BL2
Loving the reaction and the questions. Krieg is dlc character you can play in this 4 player cooperative looter shooter. The game came with 4 base characters, that siren being one of the base. There is a story and dialogue between said characters, but you playing a specific character does not change the overall story. However, it does change the main gameplay you experience, and different combination of characters means a different team composition. You can have a 4 man team focused on heavy damage, best defense being a good offense, or have one player be a tank on the front lines while others support and deal damage from behind. Important to note that you do not need a 4 player team, you could go in alone or just bring one other friend and the game will adjust the difficulty accordingly.
Hallelujah I'm so glad you discovered Borderlands!! I myself am replaying Borderlands 2 so I can purchase and play Borderlands 3. To give you a brief understanding about the psychos in this game. pretty much they used to work for different companies that came to Mine, Study, and Inhabit Pandora. Thye were scientists, engineers, and people living on the planet but when the companies gave up and left they abandoned a lot of the people they brought who after years of being trapped on this unforgiving harsh desert planet turned into psychopaths!! Some masked some not, all Ca-razy!! Fair warning this game is pretty gory raunchy and Goofy!! CLAP TRAP BEATBOX TIME!! *Aggressively beatboxes*
If you liked this, you NEED to check out a compilation from mr. Torgue from borderlands 2. He is by far the best character in the game. He's know for profound quotes such as: "I WANT YOU TO BLOW UP... THE OCEAN!!" and "I'M TORGUE, AND I'M HERE TO ASK YOU ONE QUESTION, AND ONE QUESTION ONLY: "EXPLOSIONS?"" He also talks in all caps all the time.
So stoked you have an interest for Borderlands! Two things I can say right off the bat - 1) the art style is pretty much the same in game, it's actually the most distinguishing feature in the Borderlands series, something that sets it apart from other games that are trying to aim for more and more realistic visuals, and 2) the whole setting is pretty gory in general. It's done in a humorous way, as you saw here, and the art style helps as well, but there are some pretty graphic visuals, regardless. As for the story, I'll say that the most of the stuff from the first game is just setting up the characters and the world, there isn't much of a story in the game overall (the main game, from what I remember), however the rest of the series (2, Pre-Sequel and 3) are properly story-driven, and feature some really fun and interesting bits (in my opinion, of course). Also, even though I haven't played through it myself, it seems to be the consensus that a spin-off game from developers "Telltale" called "Tales from the Borderlands" also fits into the universe, and fits really well (the studio also did pretty cool spin-off stories for The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones). My humble suggestion would be to check out the main game trailers for the three numbered games, they are done in a pretty fun way + on a personal note, I really loved the tracks they chose to play in those trailers, seemed to fit very well. Most importantly - they introduce the playable characters alongside some main NPC's, so at least you get a bit of an idea of who they are and what's happening.
This video genuinely gets me emotional. To have a guy who is literally trapped in his own brain, trying to communicate lucidly, but his biology is fighting everything he says. And he's in a situation where something VERY bad could happen if he can't find a way to communicate normally. When he shouts out "TURN AROUND PRETTY LADY!!" I genuinely get choked up. It silly and ridiculous every other bit, but that part, that's some solid emotional writing to me.
Hi! Love your reaction videos. The "look" is called Cel Shading and was a new and unique art style for a 3D game when it was introduced in Borderlands 1. The intention is to make the real-time rendered game look like 2D Cel Animation as much as possible. Paychos with "Buzz Axes" are a very common enemy in the Borderlands series. This character Krieg was a Psycho character class being introduced by the video. Almost everything he does in this video demonstrates the various Psycho Action Skills. The woman is Maya, a Siren class character included in the base game. One of her Action Skills is suspending enemies in the air rendering them helpless and inflicting damage until the skill timer runs out. Hope that helps.
I still wish they'd done one of these for Gaige the Mechromancer cause she was awesome. I mean they have a video for her just its more gameplay. Still she's a great bundle of chaos and anarchy. "SMASH THE SYSTEM!"
The borderlands series is the progenitor of the looter shooter genre of video game, a series of video games that follow a basic gameplay cycle of kill monsters, pick up the weapons and gear That the monsters drop and use it to kill more monsters, repeat. The original borderlands was the one of the 1st of its kind really, blending RPG elements with, for the time, excellent first person shooting gameplay. All packaged in a wholly unique cellshaded artstyle and universe that until recently, was primarily centred around a planet called Pandora that was entirely post apocalyptic riff on mad Max. The developers really hit their stride in their 2nd game borderlands 2 (the game that this video was made for) which expanded more on the lore of the the universe as well as giving one of the best villains in the entire history of video games known as handsome Jack. The series also began to start leaning into its more Absurd and Memey humor that lends itself to be a bit outdated from time to time but still gets a good laugh for those who were aware any of the now inside internet jokes. There's also a lot of toilet humor. This particular lean into the more comedic aspects and absurdness of the series is what it's mostly known for in the gaming community it was always able to ride the line of crude, edgy humour and good comedy until the recent installments really took a downturn with a change in their writing processes, unfortunately. Overall it's a series I dearly love and enjoy.
When she smiled it was because she actually heard his sane voice and right after that invited him on the train to be a apart of big vault hunter family.
Yeahh I completely forgot about suggesting this one. Glad to see you react, thought it would have the kind of story and background including humor which ud like
Borderlands has legendary humor throughout.... kreig and maya in this trailer are two of the main game characters, this trailer is from 2012 and they both made a major return in 2019 and 2020 in borderlands 3
Borderlands, an extremely popular game in a cel-shaded style. Gore-y and fun, unfortunately there are no meat bicycles. Explaining the entire game in text would be insane. I can instead just say this, Krieg (meat bicycle man) said something about the Siren (pretty lady) being a Vault Hunter, which is an important part of the games story. By the way there are (currently) 5 games in the series, Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Borderlands 3, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and Tales from the Borderlands (which is also canon). In conclusion: *Aliens, psychos, bandits, money, guns, guns, guns.*
Her muscle tone is excellent she just doesn't have that much definition. I've seen a lot of fighters with bodies like that. Not everyone's body shows off its musculature in the same way. :)
You should check a lot of things about the "villain" of this game: Handsome Jack. He's probably one of the best and funniest characters in videogame history for real!
@@HannaHsOverInvested Please react to the voice clips of Handsome Jack, he's been called one of the best video game villains of all time. His character is amazing, between his backstory and his overly sarcastic attitude. He definitely deserves his trophy for one of the best.
I remember stealing Borderlands 1 off my brother just loved the world and the art style along with these interesting characters. Borderlands 2 came out in 2012 which feels like yesterday lol was a great year for games we got Dishonored, Far Cry 3, Max Payne 3, XCOM, Black Ops 2, Mass Effect 3, and many more.
Krieg the Psycho was a mercenary for hire, then got captured by a interplanetary corporation which used alien materials on him and conducted horrible experiments on him over possible years surviving in that basically meatgrinder, his subconsciousness manifested this hyper violent version of him, which took over control and split his personality with this new side he managed to escape this lab-facility and survived on his own in this wasteland... both him and Maya (the PRETTY LADY) are playable characters in Borderlands 2 :D
Krieg and Maya is the greatest love story ever. There is quite a long story that can be found in audio logs in game. You can find long completed videos of their story on UA-cam
The two main characters here are both playable character in the game, but our star is Krieg. I'm fairly sure this was the ad for a DLC that brought him into the game -- the siren character is one of the hero characters in the base game. There are these little screamin wacky psycho enemies that are very common throughout the games, Krieg is basically one of those, but all massive and 'roided out
Borderlands 2 is a great game. I had no expectations, bought it used for 6 bucks and played nothing else for a year. Then the Dlcs came out and Tiny Tinas quest is a masterpiece that dives into the soul of a broken teenager. The only thing that has given me more bang for my buck than this game is my library card.
There's a LOT of story in the game, but Krieg was more of a side character, and extra one added after release. Borderlands is AMAZING story, they're actually making a movie based on it, Directed by Eli Roth, staring Jamie Lee Curtis, Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, it's a big franchise, several games made under it.
A borderlands trailers, the best bits of borderlands. The game doesn’t go into Kieg’s background too much as he is a DLC character. Which is a shame, but it does mean the the trailer does a great job of characterising him. So here is the quick skinny: Borderlands is a post apocalyptic sci game set on the planet of Pandora (not not that one). The planet is a Mad Max style waste land with a variety of threats. One of which is the Psycho, a class of enemy that rushes at you screaming random phrases. Kieg is one of these enemies made into a playable character.
krieg was a dlc playable character for borderlands 2. basically he was a bounty hunter that took a job for the gun manufacturer Hyperion. Specifically he was paid to find people they could use for their slag experiments. Hyperion eventually betrayed Krieg and used him as a test subject to. Krieg was the only "successful" experiment in that he was the only one not to die horribly. he managed to escape the facility and since then has been killing anyone even remotely connected to Hyperion. the voice in his head is hime from before the slag experiment caused him to go crazy.
I played through all three games, and the DLC for Krieg's story in Borderlands 3 "Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Flustercuck" really puts everything together for him.
Of all the Borderlands vault hunters, I loved Krieg the best! Not only the character’s writing, performance, and design, but he is mad fun to play as as well! And the BL3 DLC that focused on him was the highlight of that game too!
Borderlands is my favorite series ever, I have over 8k hours in Borderlands 2 alone so it's fun seeing a reaction video in 2021 Btw He is insane but his sane self is still on the inside, his sane self made an agreement with him that he was allowed to kill as much as he wants as long as he didn't kill anyone innocent or he would take over and kill them both Also That's Maya, later in the series you learn they actually are in love and they become a thing
Happy to tell you he’s still in the series and has the 5th DLC for Borderlands 3, explaining more about the psychos of the game and more backstory for Krieg (The poop Conductor)
The Borderlands Psychos are easily one of the most colorful characters in the games. All of Krieg's dialogue is pure gold and the various chump Psychos have interesting lines. Probably the most notable of all, in BL2 all of the Psycho enemies have the chance to start delivering the entirety of Hamlet's Too Solid Flesh soliloquy.
Krieg, if I remember right, was a normal guy turned psycho by Hyperion experimentation as well as the death of his wife and losing his daughter. That's why the sane voice is still there. If you choose to playa s Krieg sometimes the sane voice will say something and Krieg will react to it. A lot of it was theories with more hoping to be revealed in Borderlands 3.
Kreig is the product of a failed expirement. As a result he was turned into a psyco yet he is special because he still has the voice of sanity in he head trying to guide him. I love his back story in bl3
It was all thanks to Krieg that I fell in love with Borderlands 2 as much as I did, such a fun and amazing character that I could play and listen to forever. The Krieg fustercluck dlc for BL3 was really great too, getting to know the character that single-handedly sold me on anything BL if it meant even more of our prince of meat, definitely not a let down like BL3's main story was to me.
I absolutely love the Borderlands series, so I can give some info on the trailer -That bandit with the narrator in his head is Krieg, a dlc character (That was his introduction trailer you watched btw) -The siren’s name is Maya, she’s one of the base 4 characters in the game -The strange blue vortex the last guy got stuck in is Maya’s ability in game, she can pick an enemy and trap them in that vortex and a lot of the skills she can get when she levels up effect it (for example, applying effects to the enemy trapped, effecting enemies that get too close to the trapped enemy, or making herself stronger when she traps an enemy) If you’ve got more questions I can probably answer them, those are just what I thought of off the top of my head.
Oh my god borderlands yes!!! Its my favorite franchise, this is a treat. Cant wait to see your reaction. EDIT Yes theres a lot more! Problem is most of it is not in fun cinematics like this, sure there are ingame cinematics, but a big chunk of story is in voice logs that play during gameplay and i doubt youll find that engaging. Look at some of the trailers for the second game, the one narrated by handsome jack is neat, here if you so choose: ua-cam.com/video/5TW0wJTFLiw/v-deo.html
For sure there is more 😁 ua-cam.com/video/ZuMACYc_5XY/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/kdeN-WFeWHQ/v-deo.html And yes the game looks just like that and made this kind of cel-shaded art style famous
I'm looking forward to watching you learn a lot more about The Borderlands series. I think you would love the trailer for Giage in Borderlands 2 and the Character Trailers from Borderlands 3.
There are a lot of borderland videos. A whole series of claptrap (a robot from the game) trying his hardest to film a movie. I’m sure someone has explained this but on Pandora there are these bad guys called psychos. Basically grunts you kill to level up. They all look like rejects from Mad Max and they’re all ...psycho. Yelling random things. This is a psycho that the player actually controls. There is a story I do t remember if he has much growth in it but the game looks like that and is very puny/you get in cheek/snarky.
Borderlands is such a great series. All five games excel at something, whether it be story, gameplay, or ingenuity. They all excel at art, sound, and music.
Krieg is my favorite character to play and learn about. He is a super tragic character fleshed out in borderlands 3. He was experimenting on and it split his mind in 2, the sane and psycho Kriegs. However psycho Krieg was created as a defense mechanism and does everything he can to defend the body. Sane Krieg steers the body away from hurting innocent people. He is best described as a run away truck unable to stop (psycho) but being steered away from causing massive amounts of damage (sane)
Borderlands 2 has what I would seriously consider one of, if not THE best villain in video game history. He's written so well, and acted even better, he's just the ultimate egomaniac. Handsome Jack, what a legend.
My first run through BL2 was with my sister playing the DLC characters because their synergy is amazing, having her play Gaige with her crazy DT build, and me with Krieg's...explosive...personality. xD Adding your points into the Mania tree, you can get a practically immortal berserker behemoth that can sacrifice himself to instantly resuscitate allies, then start chasing enemies with dynamite to res himself. Or, adding into Hellborn, you can get a demonic hell-beast that sets itself on fire for fun and heals. Taking the left tree, Bloodlust, instead, veers from making him a towering inferno, and turns him into a blood-soaked bombardier, with resources that boost the insanity beyond the realms of madness.
I dont know where to send reccomendations (Although now i know on the community board) but i sent ya a message on twitter, loving these vids and its so amazing to see someone get introduced to these great series!
Krieg is the best character in all of Borderlands, and the hardest to understand. You have to play through the various dlc's to find it, but they piece together a story where he used to be a normal person, with a family, until he was captured by the villains. The clearest clue you get to his true identity is one line, remembering his daughter, who escaped thanks to his sacrifice. "...Tina..."
When you play as krieg there’s a part where his “true inner 6:42 self” says “ you can hurt and kill all the evil ones you want, but the moment you harm an innocent i will take us both down”
The best way I could describe Borderlands is like Mad Max + Star Wars, that's also a heist movie as well as a mafia movie, there's lots of pop-culture references, there's robots and cyborgs, and also there's things like psychic powers and eldritch monstrosities. All the playable characters have a lot of personality and flavor, the trailers emphasize that. Playable characters from past games return in newer games as important NPCs. Even a lot of NPCs have so much flavor and style to them, it makes you feel like they're almost real people. Borderlands trailers you should watch next are for the Borderlands 3 playable characters: there's FL4K the Beastmaster, Zayne the Operative, Moze the Gunner, and Amara the Siren. Even the opening cinematic shows so much personality of all of them in like under 5 minutes.
That is very much the borderlands game art-style. 3d but made to look cel-shaded. Kreig is one of the DLC characters for Borderlands 2. The games are notable for all of their DLCs being canon to the stories. Borderlands 3 has a DLC where you get to travel into Kreig's mind and interact with both Psyco and Sane Kreig and try to help them get better. It has backstory on how Kreg became how he is now, how Psycho Kreig sees the world, and tons of insanity. Additionally, in the normal parts of the game, you can find echos left by Kreig during some missions.

One of his first lines: "HEY! How ---- ahhh these pretzels suck.... so, how's your day been, buddy? We haven't really talked since I left you for dead. Hey, you think you'll freeze to death out there? Nah, probably not. The bandits'll get you first. My day? It's been pretty good. Just bought a pony made of diamonds, because I'm rich. So, you know. That's cool. Kay, bye" You can hear munching, smacking his lips and picking pretzel bits out of his teeth while talking. HE'S AN ASSHOLE, but dang is he ever funny! XD
The best part about the “these pretzels suck” line is that it was ad-libbed. I know it’s pretty old trivia, but it’s one of my favorite bits. 😂

I KNOW! XD
I just read that entire quote in his voice, in my head.
I play this game too much
Don't forget Butt Stallion 😉
I did not know the pretzel line was improvised
Borderlands series is one of the greatest game series of all time. Ridiculous replayability, easy to get into and fun. Always on special, worth every dollar
This trailer was so fun.
List of stuff featured here (Important to low key):
1) Sirens: There can exist 6 sirens in the universe at once. Each of these have some sort of psionic ability that bends reality to them (eg, Mayas Phaselock shown in this video). They are identifiable by their tattooes which exist at birth
2) Psychoes: Krieg is one of these. Insane axe wielding madmen with an odd like for Shakespeare. If one of these are running at you either your going to be cut up or he wants to explode on you
3) Rats: Mutants made by hyperion experimentation of the inhumane type. Often varying from one to the next, from tiny midgets to beefy laser eyed mutants.
4) The train: The hyperion occupation of pandora brought along monorail trains, funded and generously provided by the hyperion corporation
@Java Monsoon How does commandant Steele bork the lore?
@Java Monsoon steele was the only one who didn’t break the lore.
But everything in BL3. Oh boy. That is a mess.
The relationship between Krieg and Maya is fascinating.
I wish it was explored further and the writing in Borderlands 3 was better
I agree, I mean how cool would it have been if Krieg played a bigger part in the main story. Maybe even save Maya or at least attempt it! and to see him lose absolute control for her death. It would have been insane I think.

Don't you mean "to slow him down" lmao😂
but they changed Kriegs entire backstory leaving us with questions like "how did Tina escape without Kriegs help?" and "does Sammy still exist in the borderlands universe?"
I remember being so hyped for this video when it first came out, big smiles, thank you for bringing back the memories
Edit:
Borderlands is a long-spanning franchise, you can play 2 without playing 1.
You are most welcome!
Sound levels were awesome in this video, thank you! :)
Oh good. Its hard haha.

Finally, my favourite game series, I got way to hyped for this video 😂
Borderlands are some games with a lot of personality. I've only actually played the first one. Funny though!
So fun!
BL2 and TFTBL had the most and best personality, unfortunatly i think BL3 lost a lil bit of that
@@Cheesepuff8 BL1 ain't the best game, but it's worth playing, it's like a classic.
THE OCEAN!!" and "I'M TORGUE, AND I'M HERE TO ASK YOU ONE QUESTION, AND ONE QUESTION ONLY: "EXPLOSIONS?""
He also talks in all caps all the time.
Tell tale games also did Tales of monkey island. A continuation of the classic 80s/90s Guybrush Threepwood point and click adventures by Lucas arts.
Robotech and JSRF for the xbox, and Jet Grind Radio for the Dreamcast were cel-shaded games that came out a decade before BL1
I still wish they'd done one of these for Gaige the Mechromancer cause she was awesome. I mean they have a video for her just its more gameplay. Still she's a great bundle of chaos and anarchy.
"SMASH THE SYSTEM!"
yes, same here. Thnakfully the 4 echo logs are still up plus the whole thing in one too. Always worth a listen.
When you lose 600 stacks of Anarchy.

I recomend watching the openings to the all the borderland games
Yeahh I completely forgot about suggesting this one. Glad to see you react, thought it would have the kind of story and background including humor which ud like
Borderlands has legendary humor throughout.... kreig and maya in this trailer are two of the main game characters, this trailer is from 2012 and they both made a major return in 2019 and 2020 in borderlands 3
The Krieg/Maya story is pretty cool - particularly including the Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck DLC for Borderlands 3.
Sounds like a lot of fun.

Krieg the Psycho was a mercenary for hire, then got captured by a interplanetary corporation which used alien materials on him and conducted horrible experiments on him
over possible years surviving in that basically meatgrinder, his subconsciousness manifested this hyper violent version of him, which took over control and split his personality
with this new side he managed to escape this lab-facility and survived on his own in this wasteland...
both him and Maya (the PRETTY LADY) are playable characters in Borderlands 2 :D
Oh so cool. I am into this story.
There are these little screamin wacky psycho enemies that are very common throughout the games, Krieg is basically one of those, but all massive and 'roided out
thanks for the info!
Thank you, watching this again made me cry.
Borderlands is how you experience an acid trip without actually taking the drug.
Just one question: "EXPLOSIONS?!!"
Kriegs meat bicycle/buzz axe is indeed very shiny but also now covered in blood
There's a LOT of story in the game, but Krieg was more of a side character, and extra one added after release.
Borderlands is AMAZING story, they're actually making a movie based on it, Directed by Eli Roth, staring Jamie Lee Curtis, Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, it's a big franchise, several games made under it.
Krieg will be played Florian Munteanu in the movie. Krieg is one of my favorite characters
That being said, borderlands 3 has a dlc just for his character and backstory.
@@firmak2 oh cool. Have not played 3. But it’s nice to know

Please play all the Borderlands games, Hannah, love you girl, keep it up!
krieg was a dlc playable character for borderlands 2. basically he was a bounty hunter that took a job for the gun manufacturer Hyperion.
Borderlands is my favorite series ever, I have over 8k hours in Borderlands 2 alone so it's fun seeing a reaction video in 2021
Btw He is insane but his sane self is still on the inside, his sane self made an agreement with him that he was allowed to kill as much as he wants as long as he didn't kill anyone innocent or he would take over and kill them both
Also That's Maya, later in the series you learn they actually are in love and they become a thing
Happy to tell you he’s still in the series and has the 5th DLC for Borderlands 3, explaining more about the psychos of the game and more backstory for Krieg (The poop Conductor)
Yeah Krieg has a special place in my heart. He had a ton of funny lines in the game.
Krieg is the best written character in the history of gaming IMO.
His backstory is so tragic it literally makes you die inside a little…
The Borderlands Psychos are easily one of the most colorful characters in the games. All of Krieg's dialogue is pure gold and the various chump Psychos have interesting lines. Probably the most notable of all, in BL2 all of the Psycho enemies have the chance to start delivering the entirety of Hamlet's Too Solid Flesh soliloquy.
gosh, the entire borderlands story and universe, and all of it's characters is so full and funny, everything about it is deep and amazing 😥😥
Krieg, if I remember right, was a normal guy turned psycho by Hyperion experimentation as well as the death of his wife and losing his daughter. That's why the sane voice is still there. If you choose to playa s Krieg sometimes the sane voice will say something and Krieg will react to it. A lot of it was theories with more hoping to be revealed in Borderlands 3.
so interesting!
Kreig is the product of a failed expirement. As a result he was turned into a psyco yet he is special because he still has the voice of sanity in he head trying to guide him. I love his back story in bl3
The second borderlands game was this pace and style of humor the whole game, so basically anything from this game will give you the same feels lol
In the third game they made a dlc explaining his background. Its very emotional.
I absolutely love the Borderlands series, so I can give some info on the trailer
-That bandit with the narrator in his head is Krieg, a dlc character (That was his introduction trailer you watched btw)
-The siren’s name is Maya, she’s one of the base 4 characters in the game
-The strange blue vortex the last guy got stuck in is Maya’s ability in game, she can pick an enemy and trap them in that vortex and a lot of the skills she can get when she levels up effect it (for example, applying effects to the enemy trapped, effecting enemies that get too close to the trapped enemy, or making herself stronger when she traps an enemy)
If you’ve got more questions I can probably answer them, those are just what I thought of off the top of my head.
Honestly, if a crazy ripped dude with a giant buzz saw axe screamed “IM GONNA PUT MY PAIN INTO YOUR SOUL!!” at me like that, I’d pass tf out too 😂
Oh my god borderlands yes!!!

SO fun!
Kreig has one of the coolest story arcs.
Borderlands 2 has what I would seriously consider one of, if not THE best villain in video game history. He's written so well, and acted even better, he's just the ultimate egomaniac. Handsome Jack, what a legend.
The intros for the games are very good at setting the mood of the world.
My first run through BL2 was with my sister playing the DLC characters because their synergy is amazing, having her play Gaige with her crazy DT build, and me with Krieg's...explosive...personality. xD
Adding your points into the Mania tree, you can get a practically immortal berserker behemoth that can sacrifice himself to instantly resuscitate allies, then start chasing enemies with dynamite to res himself.
If you ask me this is the best introduction to a person who is interested in fps games
Did anyone think that she was just super jacked it the thumbnail. The chair blends so perfectly lmao
The game looks like that. There’s so much to explore. I’ve played the game for nearly four years now. Krieg is by far the funniest character to play.
When you play as krieg there’s a part where his “true inner 6:42 self” says “ you can hurt and kill all the evil ones you want, but the moment you harm an innocent i will take us both down”
I could watch Krieg's trailer over and over
The best way I could describe Borderlands is like Mad Max + Star Wars, that's also a heist movie as well as a mafia movie, there's lots of pop-culture references, there's robots and cyborgs, and also there's things like psychic powers and eldritch monstrosities.
Thanks for the info!!
I'm a little drunk and unfocused and when I saw that thumbnail I thought the chair was your shoulders and arms.
Legit thought you'd hulked out since the last vid I saw. A couple days ago.
Krieg is the most tragic character in the entire Borderlands series, in 2 (the game he was introduced in) you learn a bit about him from his dialogue but in 3 he gets a lot more development in one of the DLCs
I used to have Krieg screaming "Turn around pretty lady" as a ring tone back in the day. It would drive my wife crazy.
Borderlands will always be one of my most favorite game series of all time. It is so fun and wonky from start to finish.
Big fan of Borderlands 2.
I adore games that don't take itself to seriously, and Borderlands is on the top of the list.
The game looks like that. It is amazing. They are both playable characters, and in the story of the game they are in love.
