🥴 this video hurt me wee American brain 😅 like the videooo 💗 the Irish comment was sarcasm btw 😪
you know with goerdie accent they always leave out the letter T for example if you here jade and leigh anne say little mix it sounds different because you won't hear jade
it because she leaves out the T in the word
on the other hand leigh anne says it with the letter T.
sorry if you don't know what I mean.
you should react to break up song! It’s little mix’s new song out tomorrow
Naima Noor most people from the north don’t pronounce their Ts
Well i understand them fine cause I'm from the same place but its not just u, i struggle with some other uk accent and people from different places struggle with mine.
Aoife Lol I’m from the North West (Yorkshire) so yeah I can confirm this we also often pronounce T words as Ch and chewna (Tuna) chewns (Tunes) chewb (Tube) I also often omit Hs back to the T point I also struggled to say otter I used to say oh-ah
when jade was saying “what’s your point?” they were pranking the radio hosts
yasmin h ooohhh 😅 I thought baby Jade was about to pop off
@@Favourreacts you should react to it!
There wasn’t an Ian in one direction lol. There was a Liam but no Ian 😂😂
I'm from the UK and there are literally sooo many different accents. When people's accents are really thick and they speak really quickly, it is sometimes hard to understand them. The Scouse (from Liverpool) and Geordie (from Newcastle) accents are notoriously difficult for outsiders to understand but once you listen to them enough it's really easy.
Kimberley Hughes lmao I’m a scouser, and I find the Geordie accent so easy to understand, sometimes I find really posh accents from down south damn near impossible to understand 😂😂
4:54 They were talking about Justin Bieber but it was just a prank! Jade should get an Oscar for that performance
All of little mix are from England which has hundreds of different dialects. Geordies come from the North East of England which has a very strong accent not made of anything its not a mix of cultures it sits own thing. Plus every area of England has its own slang and words. Very few English people sound like Downton Abby
Perrie said "Why are you saying the artist's name half way through when we've got nee (Geordie slang for 'no' or 'very little') time anyway" :)
she said when we’ve got no time anyway at the end
Jade’s accent is on a whole different level 😂😂 I don’t struggle that much now but before....
She also said geezer not pizza 😂 that’s a British thing
London thing*
Please feel free to subscribe. No it’s deffo more than just London lol 😂
Please feel free to subscribe. The girls who are saying it are from Newcastle for starters
just gonna leave this here bc gal seems confused
England: a country
Britain: a group of individual countries that make up the one island we're all on (England Wales and scotland)
The UK: Britain plus Northern Ireland (which is also a country by itself).
Nah she said pasty it’s it’s own thing like a type of pastry
"I can't understand their Irish accents "
They aren't Irish their English it's just that each part of England has it's own accent like me, I'm from the north west (Lancashire) and my accent is very slangy
BTW not sure if slangy is a word
luni Wolf16 lol it was a joke, I was being sarcastic. And starting today, "slangy" is a word 😂
I get what you mean, I’m from Lancashire as well and it’s mad how 2 towns next to each other can sound so different
Omg really
luni Wolf16, yeah where about are you from?
Blackburn, you?
At 7:23 Perrie said “I don’t know why I’m saying this like blowing our own trumpet or anything”. One thing with Geordie is they say ‘we’ instead of ‘our’ or ‘us’ a lot. The video with Jade on top of that man is called plank over me or something like that and it’s really funny! They also did an interview with cosmopolitan recently that I think you’ll enjoy. I feel like I’ve just overloaded you with information there 😂
WHEN U TRIED TO FIGURE OUT THE WHAT PLACE ARE U IN RIDDLE💀
Perrie said pastie not pastry. It’s a different thing xx
The Sims need to run Jade and Perrie their checks bc CLEARLY they stole their slang from them. 😌
@Caitlan MULLAN it's a joke, get over it
I have a geordie accent like Perrie and Jade and it is hard for other people to understand us. By the way i love your reactions.
I think it makes it easier for us to understand others tho, I’m Durham and easily understand most people... except some real strong Glasgow.
Perrie was saying that she’d had a pasty and a doughnut. A pasty is a baked savoury pastry usually associated with Cornwall. 💕
Am i the only person you can understand them the first time, idk y 😂😂 im good at understanding accents especially since mine is so weird ( northern irish) but i can never say accents like jesy
I find it so funny watching people who have no clue what theyre saying 😂 I understand them fairly easily theres only a couple times when I have to re-listen to what they said (mainly Jade) but thats usually because she talks so damn quickly. (Im from the middle of england)
omg when you said “pastry” I realised you were missing out on the fine dining of a pasty, like omg they are everythingg
I've got a mix of a Geordie and Manchester accent and people find it quite hard to understand me, even people who are just from South England. But I understand all of their accents because they're generally a lot clearer than northern accents so it's not just you haha
There's a lot of accents in the UK.
I'm about 30 miles south of jade & perrie & I sound completely different lol
I can understand most accents in the UK & Ireland.
P.S pastie doesn't mean pastry. Pastie is an actual food in the UK. Delicious nom nom
Jade did say pasty not pastry which is a specific pastry with meat and veg inside.
Don’t worry I struggle understanding too 😂. Plz react to drunk jesy being iconic for 4 minutes straight!
now imagine not being a person that their mother tongue is English and hoping to understand what the hell jade talk about (me😂💔)
There is actually a video entirely about Leigh being Jade's translator and its rly funny.
I think I found the one thing I learned from watching to much Geordie Shore "How to understand people from Newcastle". I had almost no trouble understanding what they were saying, and English isnt even my first language 😅
She is British 😂😂 there's more then 2 'typical' British accents (posh London and Oliver Twist)
U should react to the Alan Carrs show with lm its the one where they were talking about ian its THE FUNNIEST EVERRRRRR
Also when Jadey was on top of that man they were doing a challenge of who can do it the longest 😂
She said "Pasty" not "Pastry" A pasty is a "D" shaped pastry parcel filled with meat at one end and fruit the other. The Cornwall tin miners took them underground for their lunch. The mines closed long ago. Cornwall even has its own language and some want their independence. They are the descendants of the original Britons who fled the Romans over 2 thousand years ago. They walk around with pitchforks, a straw in their mouth, drink cider and find sheep attractive. You mentioned the letter "T". This is becoming increasingly silent in all regions especially with the young, so Jade is not alone there.
that’s a Cornish pasty though, they could be referring to a greggs special hahahaha
New to your channel, but I am LOOOOOVING it 🔥❤️
This "first and second" riddle got you confused as hell! 🤣
I actually adore that you like Little Mix, makes me so happyyyyy heheheh
i can and can't understand them. btw i feel like jade isn't even speaking a language and how does Leigh-anne understand jade and perrie.
This was the funniest video ever i dont have a british accent i have a amarican accent and i understand them but anyways thanks for the content💖
and they're now releasing their song "break up song" on 27th and they a tiktok challenge abt it ♥️♥️♥️
finally another little mix content ❤️ 😍
i have watched them scence 2016 and im very proud that i can understand what they are saying
😂😂😂😂😂 When you got the bottles to work out the race riddle 🤣🤣🤣🤣
FAVOURRRR!!! yesssss!!
5:10 Perrie said Pasty not Pastry. A pasty is a traditional British food
oh yeah fyi if you don’t know, Argos is a shop in the uk that basically sells everything- toys, bikes, jewellery, tvs etc xx
like amazon with an online directory and catalogue of set items and you order then watch the item come down a conveyor belt and get brought to the desk for you to collect. One of the most exciting parts of your life as a child over here! (Not gonna lie, still great as an adult!)
kemipue yesssss 😂😂
I’m from Newcastle and I didn’t understand the Argos catalogue one until Leigh translated it but now whenever I see that vid I can understand her without ‘Leigh the translator’😂
Break Up Song is out Friday!!!
I love this. Not just the accent, but the words that you don’t recognise 😂😂
Jerrie are from the north of England called North Shields and it’s really funny hearing an American try and say English slang like pastries it’s made of pastries it’s called a pasty it’s another English food, even me being from near where Leigh Anne is from and strong Geordie accents are hard for some of us in south of England
u should react to the new little mix spill the tea video on cosmopolitan uk it’s so funny😭😂
When she says 'British people would say 3 symbols in beautiful' but clearly we say 2 or 3 cos they are British people
I swear everyone pronounces beautiful with three syllables??
as a geordie watching this i feel like she doesn’t have an accent bc that’s the way i speak but it’s so fun to see how others react hahah
I live near ish Newcastle so my accent is kind of geordie with a mix of another. No some accents we haven’t got a clue what they are saying. The Scottish accents are a “what the heck are they even saying real words” the Scottish people can’t understand the other Scottish accent Glaswegian accent is a no go. Sometimes I struggle with a Yorkshire accent. We all just try speak clearly if we don’t understand and ask what they said
Being a geordie I understand perrie and jade perfectly but I also understand all other accents. From the UK and further a field.
love the vids! can you do more little mix and melanie martinez video?
It is a thing it's called a geordie accent
4:20
Jade was planking the interviewer. It was a challenge, you should watch that interview it’s really funny. It’s called ‘Plank all over me’ I believe
Lolllll I am Geordie and the irish comment made me chuckle
She was saying pasty(which is a British food) not pastry although they do sound very similar XD
And I'd say most people will understand most accents. It's usually slang that'll catch you off
I grew up speaking American English in school and stuff but I've been a Mixer for so long now, that I can understand their accent.
Geordies are from the North East of England, the Argos catalogue is from the store “Argos” which has lovely gifts which you may like to buy for Christmas, it’s something “us” British people like to do. Jade and Perrie are from my home town of South Shields, we are close to the borders of Scotland. Lots of British people find the Geordie accent/ dialect hard to understand.😀
Geordie is between old English. , Scottish and a bit of Gaelic , that’s why no one can understand it, scotish understand sometimes if we slow down
she is speaking SIMS hahahaha I laughed at that. Jade is cute
a pasty is a cornish pastry kinda envelope of meat and vegetables and potatoes 😂😂
They’re loads of English accents so not all British people say it the same north and south of England are so different, Newcastle where there from talk like this
You should react to Little Mix teasing Jade
Haha this is really funny I am also a Geordie so I understand what they’re saying
I'm from Germany and when i listen carefully i understand everything
I can understand them coz I’m a mackom which is someone from Sunderland so my accent is quite similar. I can understand most of the accents around this area but struggle with bits of Welsh love the vid btw ❤️🏴😂
Jade is planking on top to the guy. They have to stay above the lower person while answering questions, when they collapse on the lower person the game is over. Answering questions while in a stressful planking position might make you say something you don’t want to say.
I'm a Geordie and I'm one of the few people who can actually understand them 😂😂
A pasty is what we call a certain type of pastry :)
i just found ur channel and i love it lol!! also they're British not Irish accents!
Oscar Tuyen hahah hi and welcome!! I was just being sarcastic about the Irish stuff, aren't they from South shields which is like north London I think 😅
Favour heyyyyy!! I know ahha I was just kidding too lol! I mean it’s north of London but still like 5 hours away!! Anyways ur so funny I love your videos !!
That one where Jade was on top of the radio host was a challenge where she had to plank over him for as long as she could while he asked her questions
Btw not all British people glottalise t.
I got to say geordie and Yorkshire accents are the easiest for me to understand because I grew up in Yorkshire and my sister for some reason has a proper geordie accent and I haven’t an idea why but I don’t struggle with any accent in England really
166th liker :) Youre not alone, sometimes, I don't understand the accent 😂 too thick for my ears 😂😂😂 Love the video, and you look stunning by the way ❤
It's so funny because I'm from close to where jade and Perrie comes from 😂. I can understand every word they say.
Honestly, I understand Perrie better when she speaks, I can barely understand Jade. Thing is, Jade speaks really fast and she sometimes tends to cut out some syllables from the words, sometimes I struggle to understand her. Perrie's accent is not as thick as Jade's, which is a little weird since they both are from South Shields. And BTW, yeah there was a clip where Jade was on top of a guy. She wasn't assaulting him hahaha, they went to a radio station, and the hosts organized a game where they had to plank on the host, while planking on him, Jade had to answer the questions the host would ask her, same with Jesy who played that too.
dropping syllables and not fully saying words is quite common around Britain, most regional dialects dont fully enunciate words but it id particularly obvious witj geordie
The clips of Jade planking above the radio presenter is a BBC Radio 1 challenge. Jesy did it aswell.
Haha I live in the U.K. and understand everything😂
I personally can understand every accent. Even tho my accent is extremely different to Perrie and Jades I find I can understand them very clearly 😊 thanks for the video xx
she is from northern england close to scotland
The clip with jade being angry was a prank
Being a British person, the geordie accent is understandable but i have to concentrate on thick Irish or Scottish accents.
bobbie-blu ahahha i feel that im scottish and literally nobody out of Scotland understands me
6:20 there is not an Ian in One Direction wth 😂 and Jade is a geordie not someone who speaks a different language it’s an accent . It’s not even that hard to understand her !
I understand them now and I even get lost sometimes because my first language it's spanish so it's a lot harder to know what they're saying but after 5 years I think I understand them pretty well
YESSS and btw i DONT struggle with their accents i recognise theirs aha in my spare time i just watch ma girls and it helps lmao
I live 15 mile away from Newcastle and still have trouble with her.
she said a pasty and a doughnut, a pasty is a british pastry thing idk how to describe it
I’m from the UK and I can understand them. Sometimes it hard because different places have there own slang words that others don’t understand but apart from that it’s fine
Pasty and a donut, pasty is a pastry with meat and certain vegetables in it
Ian in one directions ??? 😂😂
"what is this clip?! why is jade assaulting this man?" 😂😂😂
If you go to West Yorkshire then you'll think we're not from England 😂😂😂
They have Geordie accents, its a English dialect
I’m proud to be a geordie
Best little mix reactor PERIODT
Favour, the Geordie accent is not "Irish" as they are not from Ireland. Geordie is the accent of the Northeast coast of England around Newcastle. While the girls are actually from South Shields (on the coast, downstream on the River Tyne), and are thereby technically called Sand Dancers, they are also considered Geordies by the rest of the UK.
patryk it was sarcasm
Hey I’m British they are saying everything right it’s just a part of the uk that they are from which makes them have an accent so British people will understand what that are saying but other people from different places find it hard and it’s called a geordie accent
Because of the area they are from
But this is so funny to watch to see that people from different places don’t actually understand what they are saying 😂😂it made my day
I'm from South Shields and I understand it all ahahah
