I’d argue that Rex is as much of a brother to Anakin as Kenobi was, given how Anakin trusted Rex enough to be let in on his secret marriage to Padme, something he disclosed to nobody other then Palpatine.
I wonder what would have happened if Palpatine manipulated another jedi instead of Anakin. Would the events of Revenge of the Sith still play out but with a different play on things such as less jedi dying to order 66 and Anakin actually dying to the new "vader" instead of becoming vader himself?
