12. Central heating is fitted, damaged radiator and lack of water calls for BIG changes to our plans

Welcome back to Buzzy's Boaty. A wet day here at the marina, which is a blessing considering the long dry spell we have had.... canals need water. The boat is coming along fantastically. The linings are almost complete. Lights, switches and sockets are going in and the central heating is fitted except for a damaged leaky radiator. This was damaged in transit and was only discovered once fitted. Chris and his crew to the rescue though and they are fitting the replacement one this week.
Big changes to our moving plans too. Since a large number of canals are not navigable, due to no rainfall, we have had to make some big changes to our plans though with the help of Ray and his HGV things are back on track.
For those of you just stopping by for the first time, welcome onboard! We are Andrew, Karon and Isla (Puppy, well a 10-year-old GSD who thinks she is a cute little puppy). We have been dreaming, planning and saving for the past 6 years to have our own 57-foot narrowboat built. Narrowboat Tethys, an enclosed bow, cruiser stern narrowboat that is lined with the engine fitted ready for us to start fitting out our own dream boat.
