- It's time to see how this story of Ruth and Boaz ends in our #BibleStudyWithMe series on the book of #Ruth! Today we are in Ruth chapter 4, and even though Ruth's story is coming to an end, we'll see from this study how it's really just the beginning of a much bigger story. ✨
This book truly shows us what a masterful storyteller God is. The more you dig into the details, the more you see how there is significance in every one. The ending of this story truly left me in awe of who God is and how He works in our lives. More than anything, it left me with renewed gratitude for the GOSPEL - which this story ultimately points to. 💛

I really enjoyed this study with you. One thing that stood out to me is how the Lord does thing slowly then all at once. However, I thought of Orpah. Orpah was also widowed and barren for those 10 years. Had she conceived a son, the family line would have been carried on so there would have been no need for a kinsman redeemer. We do not know the end of Orpah’s story, but the Lord also used her struggles and heartache to lead to the line of Jesus. This is a prime example of how God always had a plan in our pain and brings beauty from ashes. The plan may not be directly related to our life, but it is for a purpose.

The thing I love most about Ruth just like many other books in the bible is more philosophical, I learn how to more so reflect in my own character and grow through the lessons taught and learned in the lives touched by the disciples of Christ Jesus, he is our strength and knowledge in everything, "where you go, I will go, and where you stay, I will stay" God knows man is faliable, and he meets us where we are to ensure our souls have a fighting chance! And that fighting chance was granted by the death of christ on the cross.

This series was full of anointing.
I like how you pointed out that the book started with loss of life but ended with birth of life and that in our walk in life, despite any struggles, God is sovereign and the end will always be worthy of his praise and glory. God never fails nor gives up on His own; He has promised us a life of excellence and He is faithful to complete His promises.
Awesome study! A little interesting side note with regards to Jacob/Leah/Rachel mentioned in your study, Jacob ordered his sons to have him buried with Leah (Not Rachel) which may indicate that Jacob had grown to love Leah 🥰

God is always there for us. Even though it sames he is so far away sometime. He wants us to depend on him in his timing trusting him at his word. He knows exactly when to touch our hearts and provide for our need.

I really loved this series. I wanted to dive deeper in to Ruth having read it a few times but I absolutely love the depth of these studies. Also interesting to know that Ruth after seeking advice from Naomi, put herself out there to Boaz. I feel like a lot of the times we just focus on Boaz Pursuing her but she made the first move in a sense. Also loved the part of the kinsman representing someone who might be perfect but if he’s not taking the opportunity given to purse he’s not it. God bless thank you for doing these. 💕

I have really enjoyed this study. I just finished it and took gobs of notes and deep insights away from it. This was my first time to ever do a study on a book of the Bible in this way. I started reading and studying the Bible last year. I think this approach and technique has been my favorite out of all the ones I’ve tried over the year. I look forward to doing the other studies you have on your channel and I really hope you keep making more. You bring a calm presence to your explanations that make me focused and comfortable and able to learn! I love your aesthetic too!
This was the first bible study I have completed on my own all the way through :) You really helped break down the story and bring it to life! So grateful God led me to you're channel! Looking foreword to the next one!! What I loved the most is that you made me enjoy reading the bible! I've read Ruth before but not in this way! So so cool how it can be viewed differently!! My favorite part is how God shows his merciful faithfulness in ruth’s life from where she’s didn’t have children for years lost a husband and then God gives her a new husband and son. Time and time again God shows up for all his people in the most unexpected ways and it’s always more than what we dreamed of.

Ruth's loyalty, obedience and respect for Naomi benefits her in the manner in which she never expected. God rewards loyalty. God uses anyone of His choice to unfold His purpose.

My favourite thing I learned is how Boaz’s character is reflected and magnified in Christ Jesus. Also it’s so reassuring how God is always working behind the scenes and all things work together for God’s glory and our good💕

Boaz could never had done such effort unless he genuinely found a godly woman in Ruth. She surely was an outstanding example even between the israelite women at that time. You can not fake that, she was a real believer in the power of God and the fact that He is the only true living God. She is a prototype of the believer by faith in Jesus that will come later.
Amen! Makes me think of another comment I saw about how apparent her character must have been in order to Boaz to look past the assumptions that would have come along with her being a Moabite. Like it says, a woman of noble character who had put her trust in God - he saw the sheer worth of that!

My favourite things about the story of Ruth that the way God writes our stories. How in this one book, there was like you said, death and sorrow as well as joy and new birth. Written so many years ago, it has so much application for us today, and I can see that the way God writes our stories is seemingly like He is not really there, He is not really mentioned. It's just the normal story of a normal family going through tragedy and loss and new life as we all do. Yet God was weaving things together and writing the most beautiful story one could imagine. God has been speaking to me so much through the book of Ruth this year, Praise Him! @sarah_premkumar

The fact that Jesus restores their family and the bigger role they played in the entire bible stood out to me. Ruth seemed like a really simple book, but it had deep connections to the beginning of many things in the Bible. I also loved what you said about how the kinsman redeemer not taking Ruth signifies boys in this day and age and how we should always wait for the right guy to come along. I love your bible studies so much!

Kaci! I have gone through each one of your bible studies. Exactly the type of deep dive I craved so thank you for your willingness and faithfulness in this. BIBLE JOURNAL GIVEAWAY WOOOOOH. My favorite thing about this study of Ruth was that even among Naomi's doubt and discouragement, God was still carrying out his redemptive plan. Honestly, it makes me want to cry about God's love. Where is the country of Moab that Elemelech went to ?
Who lived there during the period of the judges ?
You need a map and the history of that area found in the scriptures to place this story in the correct historical and scriptural context.
This information is found in the books of numbers, deuteronomy, judges, also the original hebrew words need to reviewed to discover the truth.
Your understanding is not supported by the scriptures. We need to study this carefully to discover the truth.
Ruth was not a moabite by descent ..... according to the scriptures she was an Israelite. Go back to the original hebrew words and their meanings ......women of moab opposed to daughters of moab.
The bible says Bamoth is in the country of Moab. So that is where the bible says Elemelech went ?

This story wow me I was doing an Esther Fats and while I was fasting got answered my prayer but also he spoke to me about stuff I didn't even prayer for and it was I was going to have a marriage like Ruth and me being new in my journey was like who is Ruth so I looked it up and I came to your bible study I was just going to just read it but God was like Nooe study this Book I did and my mind is blown cause I struggle with relationship and I decide lord I sm going to give up and focus on you and when he gave me this revelation about this Book and to dive deep in it now while studying this two words popped up To me Well spoke to me (Remain Focus and Also Your hidden ) isn't that crazy God I don't know what you doing but I am going to let you Okay 👌
Ruth is such a beautiful book! I learned from this book that God is always there for me even if I don't realize it at that time. He is providing and writing my story. My story is not done yet and I need to be patient for the blessings He has for me. 🌟
