The Oakland A's are a team with no remorse when it comes to cost-cutting. While they've committed to a rebuild for now, they're buying a new stadium in Las Vegas. For Billy Beane, it's next man up. While that theory has proven to work for Oakland, they can't win anything out of it. In this video, we talk about how Oakland can get guys on the cheap, cheat the system, and still get nowhere. It's a curse, really.
No Money, More Problems is a fitting title and in fact, a very relatable one for a lot of sports teams. The A's are the front-runners when it comes to baseball small-market teams. No Money, meaning no money to spend, and More Problems, proving that no matter what happens, you need money to survive. Maybe the A's can survive in Las Vegas after Fisher sells them for a profit.
