Love it when Tutor’s keep it simple. When I was younger and did photography tutorials I would start by saying “ Hello this tutorial will be put in simple terms and to do this I will voice myself in a way you are all simple that way I won’t presume you know things when you don’t “ Great tutorial. Thanks for sharing Ray K UK YNWA.

Just what I wanted, a simple explanation. Pity Raymarine's help desk couldn't just point me to this instead of apologising and writing to me issuing a "Ticket" I'm knocking on a bit now and I need simple. This was it, so thank you to Jennifer P at Navionics for sending it to me. Great service

Thanks for taking me through the details on the Element with Navionics. I have been looking at the Hummingbird VS Elements HV, and finally found one last thing in your vid, that I haven't found elsewhere. the ability for the change of shading in depth contours. Though it does work - and looks like to a satisfactory level, it seems that the Hummingbird is has more colors that just the shade. Even though, I will choose the Raymarine Element 12 HV as it is about 40% cheaper that the Hummingbird Helix 12 (+all the the letters)..

Can you tell me how you get shallow water to show white as you have in this vid. I'm not able to get mine to go completely white for shallow water no mater what I do.

It’s a function of the Raymarine operating system and the Raymarine manual covers selecting the various screens and menus.

Hi LBGame, glad you enjoyed the video, tide chart details are a function of the Raymarine unit operating system and you can check this out in the Raymarine manual (page 78) raymarine.app.box.com/s/suzody02j0u2x06zr900d1pgwylmzaib/file/415754292975 there are two ways to view, either via 'viewing object information', or by using the 'find nearest' function. Hope this helps.
