Bronze and aluminum do not play well together. Stainless steel would have been better but they make transducers out of a hard rubber/plastic type material that is appropriate for aluminum. You are going to have a massive corrosion problem due to electrolysis between bronze and aluminum. I have seem aluminum corroded to a point by bronze that a hole developed in the hull where transducer was installed causing the boat to sink.

There is no such thing as a quite day on the water with aluminium, that water slap sounds like being in a metal drum.
The largest screen is on 12 " that's not acceptable.
