      The EU is no friend to manufacturing businesses, it will ultimately legislate them out of business, red tape & rules is their MO, the sooner it collapses the better.

      @radharcanna watch this space working closely with a few dealers to get real life working content on Site dumpers.

    Why did you stop making the pivot steer material handler? It was an ideal type of machine for farms to replace the Matbro TR200 but there must have been something wrong that it didn’t take off in the market.

      @spannerman2887, the removal of the Telehandler from our product range was beyond our control, the legislation on engines was due to change December 2019 and we had been allocated flex engines under the regulations (flex engines meaning a fixed amount of engines to allow with changeover from one engine tier to the next) however these engines need to be in stock on our premises by 31 December 2019 if they arrived 1st January 2020 they would be illegal to fit for the European market. The engine manufacturer at the time had significant problems with supply of engine block leading to long delays in supply of these engines (This effected numerous companies). With these flex engines this would have given us ample time to redesign both the Telehandler and Site Dumper to accept the new engine. There was no movement from the Governing body on changing the in stock date as this only effect 1 engine supplier, so we had to priorities the Site Dumpers over the Telehandlers. Took almost a year to get the Site dumpers up and running with design, testing etc. Leaving a potential 2 year gap before a Telehandler replacement would be available we felt this was to long and the market would have moved on leaving us with a machine that no one would want due to supply times. We do still receive lots of feed back from customers asking if we will manufacture Telehandlers to replace the Matbro, the problem is that without add blue the maximum power output of a similar sized machine would be under 55kw (73hp) above this power the machine would be much larger than a Matbro due to after treatment on the engine. A very complicated situation to try and explain without writing a essay. You got the brief over view. Im sure there will be a few additional question following this post. Thank you very interesting question.

    Just wondering who makes the steering column for you and why don't you build it in house ?

    • @NCengineeringLtd
      @NCengineeringLtd  Місяць тому

      @gmc9905 a local company manufacture and paint the steering columns for us, reason behind this is to work follow in fabrication and paint, we are always on the look out for more welder/fabricator and spray painters to increase production. With every business its a balancing act to keep production running smoothly.

    Blimey - things have come on a bit since I was building Winget dumpers in the 80's - all Lister Petter engines and the most complicated repair tool was a lump hammer... Nice to see proper engineering.

    Nice dumper for street duties, to many pipes and wires- a bit of a rats nest to put it mildly, muck and wires not a good combination. This is a high maintenance dumper.

    12;00 STEP POORLY FITTED
    BOLTS WILL SNAP OVER TIME.
    .CENRE OF GRAVITY TOO HIGH TOO

      @rumpoh8039, Step have been fitted this way so that the bolts can be easily replaced if failure occurs, higher centre of gravity for better ground clearance. thank you for you feedback.

      @colmone5592, emission legislation is driving these changes unfortunately this is beyond our control.
