Am 65 and exploring if it is possible for me to learn how to paint. Never too late as they say! your videos are simple, motivating and interesting. if am able to paint some day it will be only because of you. thanks and God bless!
A master of Chinese brush painting taught a class in improvisation in which he had his students splash ink onto paper, tilt it to make it run opportunistically, and then develop something from what happens with a brush. Sort of Rohrshact modification, if you will. There is a special key to fresh results that comes from finding, not planning. The less defined the subject in a painting, the more imagination in the viewing. BRAVO!
Thank you very much for showing us this process. I'm a beginner and get very intimidated by tutorials that start with pencil sketches as I think that's something I'm not good at. I loved this! Thank you very much!
I love ❤️ the amount of information you give 💓 in this interesting💓💞 video thank you for the💞 beautiful💕 video you shared with all of us, a big hug and good luck in what you do. thanks for sharing stay tuned,
Love this lesson. I was looking for something for a friend of mine who is a beginner and needs to loosen up. This is perfect. Music too. Thank you so much.
When i look at oher tutorials at youtube, it seems as if what they're doing is really complicated. You enlightened me in some things. Thank you, man. I'm learning watercolors through youtube. I'll definitely try this!!

Umberto, thank you! Great video, as always. Good fun, and I always learn something. Like this time, I'm thinking "Hey, yeah, I'll do 10 quick exercises, cool cool." Then, as you said, at about 5'17" it all comes together! Thank you for being a great teacher, for sharing your skills, talents and sense of humor! Now I can go do exercises _and_a more finished painting too! Yay!
Awesome I love all your techniques it is so much fun! Will watch all your videos. i have been taking classes fr 2 years and so much to learn. Thank you, Thankyou! Consiglia Henricksen
You are so funny. It is not as easy as you put it. You are a professional water colorist. So talented! It's amazing! Thanks for your kindness in teaching us. 🤗

Umberto !!!! Thank you for being "you." This tutorial was just what I needed to spark my creative juices. Happy Holidays. I subscribed and I'm excited to begin painting all over again.
I love the fact that you have music instead of vocal explaination :) After this video that was relaxing, fun to watch and made me laugh out loud several times out of respect for your genius (NOMEN EST OMEN), I GIVE IN !! Like it or not...You`ve got a new student. Josi
Great lesson here. Final take had too much dry brush at the bottom to make the compo work for me, but we can always re-frame everything. Thanks, Umberto. >One Love< -A
Love your videos and the brush tip. Do you have a video that goes over the brushes you use? I'm a beginner and love the people you do but can't figure out the brush.
I haven't because i like to change brush kind. Of course you work differently with different brush, but I'm sure you can do everything with quite every brush. Nevertheless, I use standart brushes, you can find them everywhere on the net
Merci beaucoup pour votre générosité à nous faire partager cet art si difficile mais combien passionnant qu'une vie ne nous suffit pas pour tout explorer. Amicalement Mireille Pizano
If you don't mind me asking, what kind of pad is that you're painting on? It seems to me that a lot of the watercolor pads I find here just dont have the kind of quality paper you can buy loose sheets of.
John Lovett is Australian not Austrian lol and he is amazing he lives not far from me and have been to his workshop it was a great two day one learns lots and Im loving yours too - thank you
Sorry for the funny mistake, You're lucky to follow workshop with John Lovett. I bought his books with complete information and I can say that this kind of man, so generous, gave me the idea to share my work.
Hi am 65 and exploring if I will be able to learn how to paint!. Never too late as they say! Your tutorials are simple, motivating n brilliant👌. I will try. Thks
Umberto Rossini: Thank You for the great content :) Painting and good music. I love Your combinations. One thing I didn't like was the background noise. A Radio maybe? Please decide between music or original sound for future videos :) ~M.
More than any other painting technique, watercolor is the mechanics of fluids just like the creation of nature. So provided not to "force" the work by untimely strokes, the mechanics of fluids always arranges things and the human eye then knows how to see the details of nature. The less you come back to it, the better the result. You shouldn't just be wrong about values, tones and textures.

Grazie! Bello interessante e utile. Come posso sapere di più di Rollands palmaert che non conosco?
You make it look so effortless. I'm afraid mine would look a mess :( But I'm going to practice. Thanks so much.
it's just to show that may be very easy, but of curse avery thing needs practice. Just try and try !
❤❤❤
je suis épaté devant un tel travail! (dans l'abstrait) merci (quel papier convient le mieux),?
Pour les pochades de ce genre, le moulin du coq "hanhemuhle", très bon papier non onéreux, convient parfaitement
Thank you 😭😭😭
