    Yeah, animals have their positives and negatives. It's what makes them unique. We humans have our positives and negatives too! XD
    I love how open you are discussing them, and sharing your passion with us. I have adopted three amazing kits from you. They have been lovingly handled, reared and well looked after. And I agree. Patience. Kindness. A gentle grows a gentle ferret. And what's great is that you encourage natural ferreting behaviour by taking them rabbiting. They have the best life. I will look forward to more videos, I can't wait to see them rabbiting with you! Thank you again for sharing your knowledge! Subscribed!!

    The hutches are far to small for 1 ferret let alone you have 3 pregnant jills that are in kit and they could have 4 to 12 kits sometimes more and they cant be moved they have to stay in them hutches untill the kits are about 7 weeks then you can put them in another hutch and you dont need to separate the jills this early atall not untill the final week or 2 before birth then seperate i can see your pretty new to all this ferrets ferreting stuff no offence but no point in trying to act and aspecially sound professional fella when you still have alot to learn not nocking you atall though just saying

      Hi mate. I started this channel to simply express the knowledge that I have of my ferrets and ferreting to help people out. The jills aren't in those cages to have their kits they are in much bigger cages. I'm not a professional at all and I'm not trying to be I'm simply expressing the knowledge I know.

      @@alliencepestcontrol1483 so the jills ent having there kits in them little hutches then ? Make sure the jills are seperated a week or 2 before the due date alone in a hutch each dont touch or look at the kits for atleast a week or 2 aswell if you want to risk a jill biting you and eating and killing her kits its up to you not all do but commonly they do though so need to be left alone minimum of a week or week before you start looking and touching them i dont mean to sound horrible mate but just the way you was talking is how it come across to me i will subcribe to your channel now fella as i look forward to seeing you grow in the sport of ferreting where abouts are you from mate ?

    Why do u only catch rabbits in the winter?

    • @alliencepestcontrol1483
      @alliencepestcontrol1483  3 роки тому +2

      Hi Lewis. There are a few reasons we only catch rabbits in the winter and here are our main reasons!
      1. There are not young/baby rabbits in the winter
      2. The brambles/foliage have died down as to the point where we are able to access the rabbit warrens.
      3. We are able to work out whole team of Hobs and Jill's together without having any randy hobs try mating Jill's constantly.
      4. Waking up on a nice frosty morning and enjoying a cup of coffee in the field once first Warren is netted is an awesome feeling

    Hi, I feed my young working Jill ferret food from pets at home, how often should I feed her and how much roughly. She looks well and big near her tail but I’m not sure if it’s because it’s winter and she is getting thicker fur

      @@MrQuin96 ok mate so reading the packet and all it says is its made from pure dust free white wood for quality hygienic bedding. How ever if you go to any pet shop you can also buy the bulk 20 kilo bags and a. That lasts a while depending on how many you house and b. You may find it better quality than some of the smaller bags/ different brands
