WOW. My favorite scene. It really makes me feel the engineer at the throttle commanding my train to my favorite destination or the train in either rail excursion or at the amusement park. A classic diesel model still in action.
Hiya Jeremy, I'm so sorry it has taken me so long to look at this and comment! This is a GREAT video! Nothing compares to being in the cab! That EMD sound is unmistakable. I love the sound of that 567 winding as you amp it up, especially when you were shoving -- just outstanding!! A real contrast compared to when you were idling after setting up the 3-step for your conductor. (Was the "horny" remark directed at you? LOL!! Just doin' your job, man!) Thanks for this! Outstanding! Dave
There's absolutely nothing like the sound of a screaming EMD turbo! Great video!
Very cool cab ride. The sound of a 645 at idle and full throttle is everything, lovely sounds. Good ol' SD40-2.
Ah the SD 40! The turbochargers nearly lulled me to sleep between Revelstoke and Field B.C. on CP Rails main line back in the mid 1970’s!
Love the sound of the EMDs!! Great video!!!
Make it rain 😎 loved working the EMDs when i did work for CSX back in the day
Those old locomotives have the best engine sound
SD40-2's have 645E3's in them, the 567 line ended when the GP38 came out.
Luv that EMD Sound!!!

sound awesome
Congratulations
Great video, I subscribed!
nice video of the cab ride of the engine.
SD40-2s have the EMD 645 in them.
Gotta love the SD40-2 :)
love watching these trains with no people sitting on the top and hundreds hanging of them.you can tell they are not in India lol
Is this the tripple crown yard east of harrisburg?
Love the P3!
I'm not sure what kind of P3 horn was on the engine...I just knew it was def. Nathan P series.
Its around the Harrisburg area....for certain reasons I won't say exactly where.
From the magic marker writing on the windshield looks like it's NS 3365 (ex-CR 6419).
I am glad that you enjoyed it! And of course....the "horny" comment was directed at me.....LMAO!
@CP359 It's a 645, not a 567..

CP359 645 not 567
CP359... Hey Dave, I think you made a "typo".... SD 40-2's never had 567 prime movers... they were 645E3 powered.
Nice video. Where is this a cab ride to?
wow I like
how nice were the crew
very good video!! What is the cab number?
how did you get to do this?
I know where this is but I wont say anything
