- How to clean the Wiper Blade of the OPC drum.
The Wiper Blade, is a rubber blade that during the printing process cleans the surface of the OPC drum of any toner that was not transferred to the paper.
The wiper blade is inside a printer, a copier or inside a Toner cartridge

Sir what is the lubricant used on doctor blade/ wiper blade in Q2612A cartridge????? Please reply in English.
you can use a bit of toner on both. on the wiper blade there could be a lubricant as zinc stearate.
Sir what can be the reason for Q2612A new cartridge getting jammed / not ready to roll in hp1015 printer please reply.
What do you mean for not ready to roll? Do you have an error message?
Hello sir i get thin vertical lines on the paper on the same place should i change the wiper blade
Actually the printer was sitting unused for 6 months so despite much use wiper blade is yellow in color
@@Crazy-bt3se If there is a line also on the drum, probably the wiper blade is defective.
@@viandant5 yes sir there is clear line to toner on the drum if I clean the drum ,first few copies have light lines then it darkens

@@viandant5 thank you I changed the wiper blade now there is no vertical lines and even the print is darkened
my printer is printing only black striped lines leavinng white spaces between lines
It's difficult to say if I don't know which is your printer.Try to change the cartridge

Printer dont have wiper blade... but cartridge does.
some copiers have no cartridge, and the wiper blade is into the machine
