- Contracting to Gotcha Stumped Tree services. we were removing the top half out of a very dead, very wobbly old gumtree. I set my line in a great high point above the dead stick and carefully made my way down chainsawing off bits as I went.
there was a shed and caravan directly below me, which made things a bit trickier. I couldn't just keep chunking it down, had to set a lowering line.
the job went great, and we had it safely down in no time.

Well done mate. You have great foresight, and the skills to back it up
Thanks Reg 👍
May God protect you friend. because this is a very dangerous job. I admire what you do.
You must be the go to guy for those trees, I can't imagine there's an abundance of tree guys with your skills or nerve. Maybe so since you have those trees. Thrill to watch 👍
I’m one of those few guys as well
There a bunch of gun climbers in the area. But yeah there's a few companies that hit me up, whenever there's a big Tree job on.
Harry, you are an Astronaut, truly amazing, May the Lord bless and keep you and your crew safe and well, greetings from Ireland !!!
I really enjoy watching you do sketchy climbs. It's a reminder that all climbers struggle with the same stuff. Sometimes you have to get creative and come up with solutions.
Such fun to watch you climb. Great work
I'm exhausted just watching you. 👍 Good climbing!
Haha thanks man!
That was scary again😂 good job. Congratulations!
Enjoyed the video. That was a unique take down. Quite challenging.....your cup of tea.
Very nice Harry, big trees down there. subscribed.
best tree climber on youtube, no doubt.
Yes! 🙌 We call that straddlin' leaners and cutting "cougar cuttin'" out my way😂
Another awesome vid bro. I often opt for this even on a straight pole if I'm getting sick of the spikes
Thanks! Harry and crew...
Great stuff ! Another good SRT redirect knot is a basic cow hitch (loop and split outwards and backwards), you can adjust the tension between spars as you wish. Great for skinny poles.
MAN OH MAN, YOUR AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do take care. Fl., U.S.A.
So good 👍
You're some boy mate I'll give u that for sure , good content as well ✌️ a proper tree work vid
Srt for the win hey Harry 🎉 awesome
Absolutely 🙌
Man wow
You ar good guy
Harry when you went up to get your redirect out, the one you alpine butterflied. Did you take that massive swing back over to your original tie in tree? Great job brother. Definitely the best climber out of all the guys I watch. You know the big names, you’re all great guys. Congrats on the success and health
Aw boy I thought about it haha, but defs wouldn't have been a good idea lol. Just lowered myself down with my climbing line.
Another option that works well is to put a tension line between two trees and abseil of that.
That and a decent throw line.
Also english reeve can be mega helpful.
💪 💪
Easy peazy
It lloks like you have a nice high tie-in. Looks like fun more than sketchy. I would think just climbing up it without a high tie would be sketchy.
I was literally in a very similar situation just 5 hours ago, the shit us climbers go through 😂
Sick the groundies willl fly the drone for you!
Yeah, it's one of my guys drone haha
Great video. How do you like that FTC throwline compared to dynaglide?
Hi Harry! Always enjoy seeing your videos pop up! Smashing it man!
What area are you in mate? I’m up on the sunny coast. Be cool come do some trees down near you!
Cheers
Thanks man, I'm in the Dandenong Ranges
why didn't you invite me, looks fun 😁
Awesome climb Harry!!! When you bombed out of the tree near the end do you run the rope runner in double rope configuration?!
Thanks mate, yep was double rope at the end
How long are the poles for the bigshot?
Hi Harry great channel, I'm wondering where you got the neck tether?cheers
Sherril tree
cheers love your channel by the way@@treeclimberharry582 I just started some rec arb climbing 8meters high will do me for a while lol
killing it mate. Wondering what boots you run for climbing?
Pfanner zermatt
thanks mate, do you find they comfy to wear with spikes all day?
Yeah love them, they are big and bulky though, only shoe that would fit my wide foot though
🙏🙏🫡
