When Lawrow tried to explain why the purity of the Novichok was a problem (because it deteriorates rapidly) he was cut off 2 times by Sackur. In general: this was not asking tough questions looking for valid answers, which would be good journalism, but rather acting rude trying to please Sackurs superiours including the political commissars of GB. Lawrow did well and stayed calm. I think the british (and US and french) position is as laughable as it is dangerous. Acting this way GB will lead us into WW3. Exactly. 2 weeks... you had to act in hours. Also all chemical weapons should have own signatures due to the manufacturing process and how they synthesized. And Lavrov mentioned that some extra substance was present in the sample. Also due to the chemical decomposition, I think it's even possible to determine when it was manufactured. Thus a "pure concentration" could also mean it was produced recently and aging chemical decomposition(if it was produced 25 years ago) didn't take the place.
I don't care if Lavrov is Russian or not, he is an incredibly good diplomat and extremely professional each time I've heard him speak, he also has a great sense of humour (look up his CNN clip about pussy riot). The point was that Boris Johnson was hypocritical in his comparison of 2018 World Cup in Russia to 1936 Nazi Olympics because the British came to Germany in 1938 for a football match and raised their hands in a Nazi salute (British government officials also attended the 1936 Olympics, by the way). But the polite and diplomatic Lavrov refused to answer that about his British counterpart out of respect.

When i been to Russia twice my perspective changed, they are respectful welcoming helpful people . That is why India like Russia unlike the West. They complained to me about the Americans and British. Not surprising to me we know the British and Americans what they are capable of doing.

Exactly. 2 weeks... you had to act in hours. Also all chemical weapons should have own signatures due to the manufacturing process and how they synthesized. And Lavrov mentioned that some extra substance was present in the sample. Also due to the chemical decomposition, I think it's even possible to determine when it was manufactured. Thus a "pure concentration" could also mean it was produced recently and aging chemical decomposition(if it was produced 25 years ago) didn't take the place.

I don't care if Lavrov is Russian or not, he is an incredibly good diplomat and extremely professional each time I've heard him speak, he also has a great sense of humour (look up his CNN clip about pussy riot). If all countries had politicians like this guy instead of puppets we'd be in a much better world.

As a Brit, it's very hard to feel proud of our policies currently. Sentence before trial seems to have become the norm.
The fact is, 99% of people all around the world have no issue with each other, yet, due to the lunacy of a few, we are all suffering this bizarre set of situations. We'd do better if we were all left alone to get on with the important stuff.

To answer the last question of the interviewer "What's your point?" The point was that Boris Johnson was hypocritical in his comparison of 2018 World Cup in Russia to 1936 Nazi Olympics because the British came to Germany in 1938 for a football match and raised their hands in a Nazi salute (British government officials also attended the 1936 Olympics, by the way). But the polite and diplomatic Lavrov refused to answer that about his British counterpart out of respect.
