Its quite amazing how Mogwai gained some inspiration for this song from Peter Himmelmann Climb, which ironically was played during the original Miami Vice series.
Seems all of you love this track as an inspirational tool...but listen to the drumming....it's a typical beat coming from our native American indian. Mogwai brought the drum of the indian and mixed it with electronics. Beautiful work here. First heard this in Miami Vice, and just recently in the Nike commercial. Get inspired...and visit an Indian Pow-wow!!!
i tried to show this song to some of my friends and they didnt like the song becuz of the fact there are no word... they completely missed the point of the song
I figure that if these MONSTERS OF MUSIC were playing in my country, Argentina, the crowd would be deranged singing something like..."OOOOOHHH, OOOOHHH, OOOOHHH...UOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH..." and the band would just leave the stage...lol XD
