... all of a sudden sharks, dolphins, mana rays and whales show up for the free concert, (Hey Bernth is in the ocean today, cmon guys!!!),,, Wow all thaat? Your dedicated lol😆🥶😱😫💦🦥🦜🐊🦭🐬🐋🐳🦈🐙🪳🪰🌴
Bernth thanks far sharing. You probably by now have realized that a major factor of your success is sharing the human side of your life. Much success to you and your Wife😊
Bro.. that is beyond crazy… Glad you are ok…. You are one of the baddest and nicest dudes… Thanks for you for sharing…. I looooooooooove your song Farewell!!!!!!
Very challenging video! not easy conditions, I must say, I'd love to try out in like -10 m to play where is almost zero buoyancy.. Thank you for inspiration here!
Your lady looked pro af as the floating model in the deep water, and kudos on the shot in that scene. You also have a great eye. Cheers and love seeing your journey.
Total respect for you and your Crew and your family! God bless you!!! 😇 As I said before and always will you are one of the best artists of our time!!!🎉
Image an electric guitar where the electronics are all sealed from the water, and the strings were in the water as in this video. It would be cool to see how distortion and things would sound.
This is awesome! And I know it was a logistical nightmare to have the guitar under water but I’m wondering if you would have had a different sound with the stones removed from the body of the guitar. I imagine the stones would have had an effect on the sound.
So anyone who knows physics knows that sound waves are not going to travel through water very well you might get some of the low tones but even then it needs to be suboctave for you to hear it that's why we use sonar
It would be insanely difficult, but a song that starts muddy in the shallow water, but get's cleaner and crisper the further you leave the beach behind would be insane.
A really helpful video idea, if you haven't done this already, is how do you travel with your instruments and equipment? Any horror stories? And is that why you never take your most precious gear? Thanks!
Dear BERNTH, I'm your fan from Myanmar. I'm guitar beginner and I got some basic tutorials from your video. Million thanks for your contribution. After watching several rock concerts, I got curious thought that questioning myself 'Why rock bands and the fans usually wear black cloth? And what might be historical background?' if it's possible, I'd be so grateful to receive your answer.🤘
Man, he almost bid US Farewell! God, you've gotta more careful next time, Bernth! Who knows what's gonna happen to the Shred Community if you leave us.
I live in Colombia. We used to burn life-sized dolls on the street (sometimes full of fireworks) on new year's eve, but it was recently outlawed in some cities because after that, the streets were littered with the smoldering remains of life-sized dolls (sometimes even unexploded fireworks). The dolls would sometimes bear a likeness of unpopular politicians or other public figures. So yeah, a rather metal custom.
There's no getting around it, Bernth definitely suffers for his art! (and don't give me that, "oh, right. Suffering in paradise is soooo tough". Most of that trip looked absolutely miserable to me! Of course, I hope they remember the good stuff and now laugh about the not-so-fun stuff, since it all came out pretty epic!)
Bernth I love you man. So adventurous, but I have to tell you there are so many better locations in the Caribbean than that one. Barbados Gold Coast comes to mind. I’ve played guitar for 45 years. I love your channel.
Wow! All that time, money, trouble, and facing one of your biggest fears. That's dedication! I would have just jumped in the pool, strummed a couple chords, and called it a day. 🤣
The bar "Gabby's" in my neighbourhood has the same wood art thing on the wall. Except that the wall behind is black, so I know you didn't just sneak through Toronto to get to your tropical paradise.
This is amazing. This is The life! I understand this might be tricky, yet, why you just dont just speak German. I have masters in both, probably, with your influence, you could rise The interest in German Language. Stay safe and all The best!
A Finnish band called Miljoonasade actually recorded two small concerts called "Rocktopus" underwater in swimming pools at Turku and Jyväskylä at 1995. The sound was nearly not as clean as in your recording and the music that they play is certainly not for everyone (Finnish pop) but it was propably "world first" in this category :) ua-cam.com/video/3UI9Ouxzf-Y/v-deo.html
Water goes to the guitar from the hole and kills the sound pretty much so, if you would had cover that hole with something before diving could it had sound like acoustic but just underwater?
Ich gehe davon aus, dass die Gitarren, die du unter Wasser spielst, anschließend Müll sind?? Oder macht es ihnen nichts aus?? Würde mich interessieren 😊
Bro i always wondered about this, watching 2000s music videos. Damn Voodoo Lady from Ween. No bubbles. Crazy to me. Fun fact: Sound travels better/faster under water, it just sounds like anus.
Check out the full underwater music video ▶ ua-cam.com/video/nmyd-1pFX8c/v-deo.html

Well, obviously the next logical step is to host a concert underwater.
Lol
You mean at Bikini Bottom? 😅
Is brenth secretly from Atlantis lol
@@samirpandey2577 Rock Bottom
Thats the most creative way to try to label your holiday as business expense ever 😂
These clickbait titles are just absurd. You have a way too big audience to need that.
Agreed...
Absolutely agreed...
Bernth thanks far sharing. You probably by now have realized that a major factor of your success is sharing the human side of your life. Much success to you and your Wife😊
Airport official: "will you be visiting for business or pleasure, sir?" Bernth: "just a bit of playing guitar under the sea" 😂
Shark: "this is great, music with my meal"
Bro.. that is beyond crazy… Glad you are ok…. You are one of the baddest and nicest dudes… Thanks for you for sharing…. I looooooooooove your song Farewell!!!!!!
What a beautiful story, I'm glad that you finally told us all about it, thank you for sharing your story with us.
Very challenging video! not easy conditions, I must say, I'd love to try out in like -10 m to play where is almost zero buoyancy.. Thank you for inspiration here!

Wow. That was wild. Glad u survived all that. A story to tell your grandchildren for sure.
Pretty incredible, great that you got some positive results, and especially good that you survived the entire process as well as you did 😁
Welcoming the new year on a foreign country is a cool experience! I am glad you are safe Bernth.
In the interior of Colombia, the tradition is to stuff a human size doll full of fireworks and make it go Boom Boom!!!

Your sacrifice and dedication to the shot is commendable 👍🏻🤘🏊♂️🤿🌊🎸
So cool that You did not give up and did everything possible to make it work 👍🏼🤘🏼
Loving the melody and mood it creates.
OMG!!! Thanks for sharing 😊❤️❤️
So anyone who knows physics knows that sound waves are not going to travel through water very well you might get some of the low tones but even then it needs to be suboctave for you to hear it that's why we use sonar
seatbelt, modem in the tree, storm, moskitos of death..... great video. I came exactly for this 😂😂😂
It would be insanely difficult, but a song that starts muddy in the shallow water, but get's cleaner and crisper the further you leave the beach behind would be insane.
Did anyone else get that when they filmed the actual video it was CHRISTMAS!!?!
Awesome, thanks for sharing the behind the scenes footage and story. 🤘
I confirm i was the camera.
A really helpful video idea, if you haven't done this already, is how do you travel with your instruments and equipment? Any horror stories? And is that why you never take your most precious gear? Thanks!

Sand would have been an option to fill the guitar, assuming you could get hold of some. 😁
absolutely stunning!
What an adventure! I am off to see the full video, this is fascinating!
Thank you Bernth 😉👍👍
I like you and you are amazing..keep it up 👍
this could’ve been his “farewell” but he pushed on ;)
another great video 10/10

That's insane! Also really cool! 🤘🎸
Cool! Thanks for sharing the ride!
Really cool. Looking to see you play in space next.
There's a man who suffers for his art😮. Awesome man😅
Amazing all the trouble you went through to do that. Wow! Amazing. 😯👍
You should try adding adding nitrous oxide into the body of a acoustic guitar and see if it makes it sound deeper.
I dont think you need to fill the guitar with stone, just fill it totally with water will do, its the air making it float.
There's no getting around it, Bernth definitely suffers for his art!

Thankyou wish your family and other team happy always, song: columbian local traditional with drop c tune
Lets gooo! The Legends Story
Bernth I love you man. So adventurous, but I have to tell you there are so many better locations in the Caribbean than that one. Barbados Gold Coast comes to mind. I’ve played guitar for 45 years. I love your channel.
So you make the video in my country? It makes my day! I have this song in Spotify at the moment you share it in UA-cam.
Wow! All that time, money, trouble, and facing one of your biggest fears. That's dedication! I would have just jumped in the pool, strummed a couple chords, and called it a day. 🤣
You didn't hear anything underwater because you were not amplified. Hellerrrrr.
The bar "Gabby's" in my neighbourhood has the same wood art thing on the wall. Except that the wall behind is black, so I know you didn't just sneak through Toronto to get to your tropical paradise.
"Go into the water cause fish has got no good metals to listen to."
This is a great achievement
I wonder if the tone wood have any effect on this rock filled guitar played under the ocean,…will maple fretboard will make the sound brighter
best guitar lesson ever !!!
Impressive... and interesting too !
💪😎🎸 KILLA 🎸🦇
Guitar solo while sky diving when?
Cool! Was the guitar salvageable?
Big man guitar ocean stuck? Whut
Lol😂
More Sloth!
I had no idea playing guitar was so difficult.
Wow, echt Krass Bernth, hat sich aber ausgezahlt, ist echt fgeil geworden!
Bring about the Metalocalypse and record an album in the Mariana Trench next!
Thanks you brother
When are you coming to Lagos, Nigeria? 😢
But you had to drown a Talman acoustic ... the same model I gig with and love :( The things we do for science (and content, and music videos)
This is amazing. This is The life! I understand this might be tricky, yet, why you just dont just speak German. I have masters in both, probably, with your influence, you could rise The interest in German Language.
Stay safe and all The best!
8:19 some submarine sonar operator just wondered what the fuck he heared
I think Toki Wartooth has already tried this 😆 😆
Best story ever.
2:26 you almost attempted death metal vocals😂

I really dig old folk traditions like the bon fire and burning poppets.
I've heard of singing with the fishes...
Water goes to the guitar from the hole and kills the sound pretty much so, if you would had cover that hole with something before diving could it had sound like acoustic but just underwater?
Aww, I wanted to see what the damage was to the guitar.
Is it possible to get tabs for farewell please ? I can for that ! :)
Damn that was the closest Bernth has been to my country.
Next video, in a rocket on the way to the moon, to reach the next set which will feature a video in the moon, and one on the way back.
Very cool man. Candlebox did something similar for their Understanding video. Check it out sometime.
Ich gehe davon aus, dass die Gitarren, die du unter Wasser spielst, anschließend Müll sind??
Oder macht es ihnen nichts aus??
Würde mich interessieren 😊
You're mad but we love that about you.
Bro i always wondered about this, watching 2000s music videos. Damn Voodoo Lady from Ween. No bubbles. Crazy to me.
Fun fact: Sound travels better/faster under water, it just sounds like anus.
Spannend... 😊
So you were in Colombia
Man... you can't film underwater while it's raining! You could get WET! 😅
