Thank you for reacting to this wonderful song by Russell and Sissel. This is the only time they have been performing together. I was at this concert and it was magical. I will also give you some suggestions to some of her great performances that I hope you will be reacting to. "My Tribute (To God Be the Glory)" "O mio babbino caro" "Pie Jesu" "The Old Castle" "You'll Never Walk Alone"
Sissel has sung duets with artists such as Plácido Domingo, Charles Aznavour, José Carreras, Neil Sedaka, Brian May, Bryn Terfel, Josh Groban, Diana Krall, Russell Watson, Dee Dee Bridgewater and Mario Frangoulis. Sissel sings mainly in Norwegian and English, and has also sung songs in Swedish, Danish, Irish, Italian, French, Russian, Icelandic, Faroese, German, Neapolitan, Catalan, Maori, Japanese, Latin and Spanish. Disney's The Little Mermaid (1990) - voice of Ariel on the Norwegian, Swedish and Danish editions. Sissel is the haunting voice that made the movie Titanic. Sissel is norwegian. She used to be married to Eddie Skoller, and lived in Denmark for many years. Sissel collaborated with "Sort Sol", you might want to check that out.
Her “Wait Awhile”, “Helga Natt”, concerts ‘Northern Lights” “All good things”, her “reflections “ project”, “pie jesu”, many, many more. She is an emotional singer. More of her, please.
Keep coming back to this reaction. Youre face just says it all. You know, Sissel is 52 years now, but she has looked exactly the same for 30 years, and she is the only woman both my father and I have always had a crush on. (and maby Halle Berry).
Absolutely beutiful reaction. You didnt have to say a thing, because your face said it all. Btw Sissel is from Bergen in Hordland in Norway, like Aurora.
I never thought I would see Russell Watson on a musical reaction channel. A very humble Englishmen from Irlam, a northern U.K. town, who used to sing in the working mens clubs in and around Manchester. Sadly, he has been plagued by serious health issues..a tumour growth on his pituitary gland almost ended his life. I’m not familiar with the Norwegian singer, but they both make a powerful duet…complimenting each other’s voices. I was lucky enough to see Russell at an open air festival some years back…a true talent…and that’s from a metal fan. This was an inspired reaction song to use. Glad you enjoyed it. Check out Watsons version of Nessun Dorma…powerful. He also sang the theme tune to Enterprise…one of the Star Trek franchises. My first piece of listening music today Sabina..thank you. This is the link for Nessun Dorma..worth a serious listen. ua-cam.com/video/JO1y65gi2TU/v-deo.html
Thank you! There’s room for any genre on this Channel and must have been amazing to see him live! Hope that he Will be alright and Thanks for the recommendation 🥰
@@sabina1118 His surgery was a few years ago..he’s in good health these days. Now that Covid restrictions are all but lifted, he should hopefully start touring again soon.
I'm always amazed when people say they've never heard this song. It was a gigantic Simon and Garfunkel hit when I was in college in the 60's. For comparison, you should find their version and listen. Peter Hollens and Tim Foust also have an excellent version.
@@sabina1118 not sure if you've reacted to her but a good friend of Russell's and equally as pure and powerful is Catherine Jenkins 👍if this is for you she definitely will be 👏👏x
You got it so right. Theres so much more than Disney music out there. No disrespect to all the wonderfull disney movies and songs. But if you are looking for something that doesen't please everybody, but hit your chords, the alternative music is just a mouseclick away I don't know anything bout Russel Watson. But Sissel have a lot more interesting songs than this. One is ua-cam.com/video/I1ghkPFb90E/v-deo.html and onother one is ua-cam.com/video/EFe84U__kt8/v-deo.html I will find out more about mr. Watson. With his voice he must have done a lot of other things. And I can't imagine that this is eather of the artists favorite performance. So for now I will stand by Simon and Garfunkels epic record

Thank you so much for sharing this performance. Please review more Sissel performances.

My pleasure 😊!
best duet I have heard in my life, I want to get them touring my country, Sissel will be a huge hit in a massive concert. Allan Oakes from Australia
