Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying your week so far! Thank you so much for your continuous support since the beginning of this channel. We have just reached 400k subscribers! Wohooo 🥳This is a massive milestone and I feel like a 7-year of hard work and pushing boundaries. Let me know in the comment what would you like to see more from this channel! ❤
Love this video! People are definitely curious to learn more about you and what goes on behind the scenes. You have done some amazing adventures and I can’t wait to see what comes next! Huge congrats on 400k!!!
I have never seen a transparent person like you. I loved the way you addressed every question and answered them. I can somehow relate your philosophy to mine, that is not being bothered by the opinions of others. I wish you a beautiful journey ahead. Love from Bangladesh.
Hi Syifa, firstly congratulations for reaching the 400K milestone. I was born in Malaysia, lived there a few years after that before my family left the country and then spent almost another 7 years there for work later in my life. So, it's great to see someone from that region (particularly a woman) doing travel vlogging as a solo traveller. Being Asian, I finally got to see a perspective that I can relate to personally from your travel vlogging work. I have special respect for you now in knowing about your decision with regards to your erstwhile religious affiliation. I am also in the process of leaving the religion I was born into (not Islam though) and treading into an areligious, agnostic but still a spiritual path. I know what it means to do so but it is surely liberating though certainly not easy to do than saying it. I am a tourism academic in a UK university and your work really inspires me in what I teach to my students. Keep on doing the great work and take care.
Berbeda dg UA-camr Indonesia di luar negeri yang selalu membangga-banggakan Indonesia, kak Syifa seperti menyimpan sesuatu ketika berbicara tentang Indonesia terutama kehidupan di masa lalu. I feel you kak, saya juga merasakan hal yg sama.
Jd bukan nya gak membanggakan indo.

I think most people don’t understand the immense strength this lady has. Unlike in neighboring countries like Malaysia and Brunei, apostasy is not punishable by law in Indonesia, but religion is still a huge part of the country and renouncing your beliefs means severing ties with your entire supporting system. While I’m sure that many people feel the same way, many choose to stay quiet about it because they still want to lead a peaceful life in the country. I’m not even talking about a particular religion, because in Indonesia whether you’re Muslim or Christian or Hindu or whatever, religion is going to determine how you function in society. I am happy for her that she has found her place in this vast world, but for most Indonesians leaving the country is not something that’s viable and maybe not even something they want either. I just wish more people would come forward and say that it’s okay to have your own views and carve your own way in the world. Here’s hoping the best for our younger generation. Cheers! 🍻 🇮🇩
Congratulations, Syifa, for reaching 400K subscribers!!! So glad for you. I try to follow your journeys especially now in countries seldom visited even by Asians like you and me.. Keep those beautiful videos coming!

"I DON'T CARE." Thank you Syifa for speaking out. I could tell you're very emotional when you spoke about being an ex-Muslim and how you don't have a strong tie to any national identity. I'm Chinese but sometimes I feel British and other times I feel Greek - I feel at home in those two places. I'm an avid traveller and a creator like you and I'm well in the minority in many ways. I'm way past caring about any person's judgments of what I do or how I behave, and I'm learning to unapologetically be myself around everyone. Being completely honest hurts myself or hurts other people on many occasions, but that's the only way that I can live right now - I've put the well-behaved Chinese kid into the rubbish bin a long time ago. So yeah, let's just be ourselves and don't let any one label define us. P.S.: Going on a trip in May-August to Canada and then all over Northern Europe onto Greece and UK, hoping to go to Iceland and Svalbard! Very exciting stuff. Good luck with travels for all of us!

(I’m shocked, but not surprised at some of the awful comments here…) There’s a beauty and uniqueness of experience to travelling and being alone. Take care and enjoy your travels 😊

Greetings from Bahrain...I salute your courage, and I'm sure you are an inspiration to many. I travelled to Azerbaijan last month and visited Sheki after seeing one of your vlogs. Thanks,
Thanks for sharing your experiences. I like to watch your video: you are doing something incredible to my eyes! Thanks for showing us special and "hidden" countries. What I learned watching your videos is that people around the world are friendly and simple often so far from the idea that TV and media give of them. That's why your video are so extraordinary: the show they truth!
Hope you ll find one person who will make u love Allah all over again. I found my person when I was 26 and alhamdullilah, i m enjoying being practising Muslim. Take care sis..❤
Remember this syifa! Islam doesn't need us but we will need Islam when you realise everything in this life is temporary and regret! The whole purpose of life will be a mess once you start ageing in your career then you will want to know your creator! That day is no longer for you and me, may Allah guide all those who chosen to be in the wrong path.
Judging from your talk in the video about receiving hateful comments just because you want live your life freely according to your own understanding is shocking to me. We in the West don't comprehend how people in other parts of the world find it difficult to do such a simple thing as live your own life according to your own understanding of the world and oneself. I was born into a Christian society and I didn't have to make a big deal out of it in order to "leave" it. I simply lived my life without anybody - community or family - imposing their ideology on me. Unfortunately in other parts of the world peoples minds can be so rigid and fanatical that for somebody to leave the fold is literally putting ones life at risk. I wish you all the more luck for your courage and happy life in the free society.
I've just been here. Watching two or three of your videos.....what I thought about personally.....I don't even think too much about the content of the video. One thing I'm gonna say.....Syifa is truly a woman of great courage. You seem always to think of putting the risks aside. Whatever....that's the point.....saluuutee.....!!! be on the alert in doing anything. Well lady....kind regard of mine from Indonesia......

Aslamulaikum sister Syifa, I'm sorry to hear you left Islam whether it's because of a societal issue or personal issue I can't assume, but you need Allah more than Allah needs you and It's OK that you left because you're not criticising the religion or causing trouble which is good, however, there are more people reverting these days, so everyone is on a different path or journey. I'm also sorry to hear about the criticism you had from others, they shouldn't judge you on your decision if it's advice then some probably want the best for you and if you're living a happy life after leaving, again it's fine but this life is temporary and our assets won't come with us, I can't force you to be convinced but only Allah swt can guide whoever he wants. However, your belief doesn't take away the good content you're making. Jazakallah Khair
I think once one truly learns about Islam as an Abrahamic religion, takes away the spiritual aspect of it and see it from a historical and factual perspective, then you see it’s just a matter of power expansion and many more. Of course one would defend Islam as a peaceful religion, but then you cant deny there are many of disturbing things about it. Again, it doesnt matter why I did choose to leave as it’s my own conscious decision to do so. I do believe that religion serves purpose for many and that’s fine. However that’s not for me, no need to feel sorry as I am much happier. All the best to you!
Well answered.. 😂 You only need to be accountable to yourself and make sure you are happy, with or without a religion.. To me, I think no religion is the best.. 😂
@@richjb888 What makes you say that? How do you know what's right or wrong? And once you achieve whatever makes you happy, what's next? Just curious 🤷🏽♂️

You strong kak syifa, I like you.

Whata wonderful human beuing you are!
Congratulations!
Dearest Syifa, thanks for answering my question😁🙏🏼 Keep inspiring😉👍🏼 I m following ur journey through ur IG's story, hehehe🥰😁 Stay healthy always, enjoy ur journey❤️

Recuerdo siempre, RESPETA PARA QUE SEAS RESPETADO.😊
I do agree with all your answers 😊
The Almighty will bless your heart for all your efforts 👏🙏🇮🇳.
Hi, I really love your vedo and please don't think what the other people think about, do what makes you happy and about the religion it's your right what you believe or not, those who ask you why you left Islam they don't have anything to do to make them busy they just asking nonsense questions, you are a lovely and really beautiful and what you make is really beautiful keep it up, stay safe and healthy

Thank you ma'am
thank you for being open,,

I am considering to travel alone to Indonesia to visit my grandmother's roots (she was born in Tasikmalaya, grew up in Bandung and fled to The Netherlands around 1949), although I never have travelled alone. But you and some other people are inspiring me more...
Hope you reach 500K / 1M subscribers soon!
semoga sukses kak... good job and good luck..
A big, big homage to you, swimming in deep water. Like the finnish fairy tale character Mumin who by the way is very popular in Japan once said " it is easy to be brave if you never are afraid". Thank You for this video.
Wow, thank you so much for your lovely comment! I have never received one like this. I’ll take a look at the Finnish character, sounds very interesting. Thank you for your kind words
@@SyifaAdriana The Mumins is loved by a lot of children because they speak to children as they where adults, and I think children understand that. Keep up he good work. Sorry hade to check it out, Mumin in finnish and swedish, Moomin in english.

Hello Syifa, are you still in Uzbekistan? How long will you be there? I'll be there too from 3rd of May onward. Kalau waktu memungkinkan mungkin kita bisa ketemu sambil berbagi cerita tentang travelling :). I sent a message to your FB and Instagram but not sure if it went through or not. Take care and happy travelling.
I can't believe Indonesia doesn't allow dual citizenship in 2023. A shame to have to renounce the citizenship of your motherland, but it is what it is.
I'm glad to SE your trip and very pretty face as good woman!❤
Hi Syifa lovely video. Do you have any plans of travelling Some or all the countries in Africa? Hope you have a lovely weekend. Looking forward to seeing your next video ❤❤❤

Well, you have come a long way since the time in China which I took notice when I was doing some research...Ahhh Alina Mcleod....Awesome creator as well...Still , if you can't run , you walk , can't walk , you crawl......No matter what , we push on!! ...Keep em rolling... Stay safe out there
Aslamulaikum sister Syifa, I'm sorry to hear you left Islam whether it's because of a societal issue or personal issue I can't assume, but you need Allah more than Allah needs you and It's OK that you left because you're not criticising the religion or causing trouble which is good, however, there are more people reverting these days, so everyone is on a different path or journey.
You only need to be accountable to yourself and make sure you are happy, with or without a religion..
To me, I think no religion is the best.. 😂
@@richjb888 What makes you say that? How do you know what's right or wrong? And once you achieve whatever makes you happy, what's next? Just curious 🤷🏽♂️
@@SONY95ish Hi
I come from a good family.. With The right family values learned from young determine what are the right things to do..
And
We are happy that way all our life, rather than following a certain book or books.. 😅
And I m equally happy to see people, my friends or not, found happiness in their religions
And if I may repeat,
No religion is the best for me.. 😅
Good bye and have a nice weekend
@@SONY95ish Inner voice (not mind voice). Once you have that... just go with the flow. That's the purpose...to surrender to God's will.
