There is definately something magical about a steam locomotive. I still have the #2 coal shovel my dad may have used to fire steam locomotives back in the 40's for the NYC. The shovel is stamped #2 with the date 8/48 plus the mfg and serial number on the handle. Mfg is Ames. NIce video also.

i wish Santa Fe kept its heavy weight, dark green passenger cars and used them. The consist shown here with mixed passenger cars doesn't look all that good...oh well
